Great desserts and service. Its nice to support the locally owned business in Oxnard. Very clean and fast service. I highly recommend that you visit this place. I had a large hot chocolate and an apple pastry. It wasnt overly sweet.

Very tasty, very reasonable priced, very quick. Both savory and sweet crepes were equally delicious. The cafe de olla was good too. Next time Ill make sure to grab the pastries!

Bought a macadamia cookie and a guava empanada. They were really small and pricey for the size. The macadamia cookie was tasty and fresh. The empanada was good as well just wished it would’ve had more cream cheese and guava. They did have a line of people which was good to see because it makes you think that what they have is worth it. I have tried their sweet crepe and also the savory crepe. I prefer the savory crepe (the one with prosciutto). The sweet ones are also good but the syrups are overpowering for me- would definitely come back though not too often. Lets support this family owned business!

Drinks were delicious! Only downfall and why I probably won’t come back is because of service. I went on Sunday morning with my husband mind you we were going to stop at Starbucks for coffee but I told him no there’s this small business around the corner let’s try it out I have heard great things about it so he agree. We went in, my husband only drinks decaf and he asked the man that was ringing us up if he had any decaf coffee. He’s like no and kinda laughed at his question. My husband then proceeded to ask what do you have that does not have caffeine he said the mangoneada and obviously the water. I was stunned! So I brushed it off so we ordered and when my husband ordered he asked him 3 times if that the drink he wanted like if he wasn’t sure. I let it go again. But as I was waiting for my order. 2 ppl walked on to order and he was being super nice to them. Maybe they are regulars but he just lost a potential regular. I will stick to my Tierra Mia coffee.

First of all, it smells so good when walking in, like fresh pastries. Second, their nutella crepe is one of the best crepes Ive ever had. It comes with bananas, strawberries, xielo sauce (sweet sauce) and drizzled in nutella. Me and a friend split one and were both very satisfied! Ill definitely be coming back 💜

Cafe de hoya is hands down the best coffee in town. Had the Crepes and I had to go back twice before leaving town.

Place is too expensive for what you get and the food is something youd get at a gas station. Definitely disappointed since this place had so many great reviews. I mean McDonalds pastries and drinks are by far better than this crud but thats my two cent.

This place is Amazing!! Ive lived just down the street for years & only recently discovered it.Delicious treats, refreshing agua fresca, sandwich croissants, & the made-to-order crepes are absolutely scrumptious.They dont just make sweet crepes either, you can get something savoury for a great brunch there as well (e.g. the jalisco, ham & cheese, or even a quiche).

Wow. Just plain wow. These desserts are amazing. I helped out a local organization and as a thank you, they brought me this treat. The custard was silky smooth and the sugar coated fruit was super tasty. Im very impressed on the balance of flavors and texture.Dont skip out or pass this place!!!

I was looking for a good place to order some desserts to take to my company celebration. I found this place on the internet. When I walked in I was happily greeted. I wasn’t sure what to get and the gentleman answered all my questions. I ended up getting Pastel De Requeson, Tarta DeQueso Y Manzana, Empanadas and an ice coffee to go. Let’s just say I found my new coffee spot and there were no left overs soon after putting everything out. They were fresh and all items were from a family recipe that made it all the better. I have now become a new customer based on the amazing desserts they had to offer and the inviting customer service they provided.

Complaining about size of place (yes, a little small) or parking (plenty of street parking, just walk!) seems petty to me, focus on the prize! Enjoy.

Great little family owned dessert shop in downtown Oxnard. All of their baked goods are super tasty, great coffee (especially the cajeta frappe!), and their crepes are delicious!

Today was my first time at this place. I bought a Nutella crepe that was delicious as well as a hot chocolate! The hot chocolate is in the style of Oaxaca, which I have never tried before. However it was super tasty! It almost tastes like chocolate de abuelita. I would highly recommend trying that out!

This place has the best crepes I have ever eaten.

So I walked in and it was not busy at all. The 2 people behind the counter saw me and continued to argue as if they were son and mother. Then they walked to the back and no one else came out to help me. I stood their for a while waiting to order and no one helped me. This sucks because I really wanted to try this place but for whatever reason they dont want to help customers...

You must try the Cafe De Olla on ice it’s amazing.

First time here in the area and we absolutely loved it! The lechera raspado was totally worth it. Great customer service, I loved seeing the process of making the raspado while waiting for it to be done. Piña raspado was good too.

Definitely recommend the Café de olla. I havent had any dessert items but Ive always been curious.

Very quaint shop in Oxnard’s old Woolworth store. A little difficult to spot but oh so good! The crepes and coffee are excellent. The owner is the nicest guy!!! His wife hand makes the sauces for the crepes with all fresh ingredients. Absolutely terrific! Prices are very reasonable. Wish I took pictures🤨. Mouth watering presentation! Only down side is there are only a few tables and chairs. Place is very clean and well kept! Can’t wait to take friends and go back myself!! All the baked goods looked yummy. Definitely go!!!

My sister and her boyfriend and I were looking for a 5 star dessert place! We were delighted when we discovered Xielo Artisan was still open even though it was kinda late. First of all the service there is spectacular. Loved everything we tried. The little cookies made with their family recipe were my favorite. Its obvious they take pride in everything they produce! We will definitely be back!

Coffee is so good you dont need to add sugar or cream. Never disappointed by the quality of their stuff. Their crepes are so delicious too 😍

Needless to say that we took a small Box of the smaller pastries to go for our 4 hour drive back home. The creativity at this pastry place is amazing. All the pastries that I tried were so good. I would definitely come back over and over. Their guava empanada is their number one seller and I can see why. The crepes they offer are also delicious.

Visiting from the suburbs of Chicago and WOW, this place is amazing! The ladies behind the counter were friendly and explained all the goodies to me! I just picked a variety and all of it was super delicious!! The empanadas were fantastic!! Get a dozen, you’ll thank me!

I’ve been a regular customer for months now, and I can confidently say that Xielo Artisan Desserts is an excellent café! Not only is the menu varied with delicious options for all palates, but they use high quality ingredients, have wonderful presentation, and keep surprising you as you continue to visit! The owner, Juan, humbly shares that his family who put together their recipies are the artists, and essentially he’s just the business side making it available to people. Well their family has been in the food industry for many years tracing back to Mexico, and they have recipies that his grandmother made 60 years ago! My favorites are the Berry French Cream sweet crepe with extra BFC, the albondigas soup (best I’ve ever had), and my custom cajeta & lechera, light ice, extra coffee frappe! Five honorable mentions are the guayaba y queso empanadas, the cajeta con nuez sweet crepe with a scoop of ice cream on top, the monte alban sweet crepe, the requeson, and the cafe de olla (can you tell I have a sweet tooth? 🤣). The café has a relaxing atmosphere with the nice music and window-shop seating, and has been a nice place to do work, watch a movie on my iPad, or have interesting conversations with people in the shared seating area. Now, above all of this is their impressive customer service! Early on I was welcomed como familia (like family), and they have continued to make me feel like an appreciated customer in several ways. The owner Juan, his father (also Juan), his mother Aracely, his cousin Cynthia, and one of their main employees Iselda have all been great, whether on the phone or in person, remembering my usual order, asking how I’m doing, or handing me my order with a smile 😃👍. I ordered a café de olla, and there arent many places that make it right, but this place had one of the best I have ever had! I dont live in the area, but I am going to make frequent visits here with my boyfriend every time Im in town! Thank you for such excellent service, and excellent food!

Great tasting desserts. Employees are extremely nice. Small area for dining. Not enough seating. Some items are missing from the menu. They had a Cielo Frappe that I would have liked to order.

The owner is super friendly and the desserts are some of the best I have ever had. They are also very reasonably priced. There is a parking structure close by so you dont have to worry about parking.

Xielo makes the most delicious crepes, guava cream cheese empanadas, crusty almond croissants and these old family recipe walnut melt in your mouth cookies you have ever tasted!! They are super friendly and essentially know their neighborhood and their customers. Xielo is a must try in downtown Oxnard .

Great crepes, sweet to savory. The employees were very informative of the menu. The chef that was making the cepes took the time to explain the variety of ingredients of the toppings for the crepes. The owner was also very nice and attentive. We bought a crepe with aguave marmalade and it was perfect (not to sweet). We will be back to purchase a coffee and something sweet.

Get the choco-flan. Youll thank me later. Its so good we went back and bought an entire cake. The location is a bit out of the way, at least to us non-Oxnard residents, but its well worth checking it out. The crepes are supposed to be really good but we havent tried them yet.

Wonderful place! a business meeting was schedule here during the weeks and Cafe Jesuita and Guayaba empanadas were so good I had to come back with the family this weekend. Family enjoyed a variety of crepes and hot chocolate.
