Another case of a shop doing less than honest work. I walked in on my female friend being quoted $1k to replace a bad thermostat. They said “5 hours in labor” and “$200 unit cost.” It’s a 20 minute job and the part goes for half the price if not less. Save yourself the risk and do the work yourself or find another shop.

We go here for oil changes and minor repairs. Always fairly priced and awesome service.

This place is good, I get my oil change here since the one In Seaside is gone. Professional and friendly staff. I live in Marina but I drive here for it it’s worth it, good price.

Since the Seaside shop was closed because of lousy landlords. I hop over to the other site they have here in PG. Wonderful experience as always. Very affordable service, very speedy service, the owner is an outright awesome guy who gets his hands dirty to get his customers taken care of. I really hope they find a shop in Seaside again, but Ill always do business with this local shop. They have a wonderful family that helps run the place. Great appreciation and respect to a good company.

Excellent service! Wonderful employees. They got our new tires on and stopped us as we were leaving to tell us our brake light was out. Replaced it for free :) I would definitely go back again.

Stay away from this shop! For over 15 years I was a happy customer of this shop: professional and reliable job, good and honest service and fair prices. Last Saturday I brought my car there because of a sudden water leaking. Unfortunately, the old manager, Don, was no longer there, and the new manager immediately told me (from his desk) that it was a very costly repair job of the heating ($880 for eight hour work, plus parts). Foolishly trusting the manager that he had some idea about cars, I agreed. I also agreed to pay $55 for diagnostics, to be removed once the shop did the job. The VERY GOOD mechanic walked with me to the car and on the way explained to me that the problem could not have been with the heating, since it was a Toyota, so it must have been something else. According to his diagnostics, the problem was with the water pump. So they charged me $149.95 for a (new?) water pump that costs $29 - $45 ( I checked), and also charged me $55 for diagnostics, despite the fact they the manager told me differently. It was a rip off. Don’t repeat my mistake.

These guys are great, I just had a tire pressure warning light on my car. They explained that the change of weather could indicate this, took a look at my tires and all were fine except a little low. I will be taking my car back next time I need service! I highly recommend they’re very friendly team.

Have been getting oil changes here a couple times. Workers are great, allow me to watch and make sure all work is done. I would highly recommend knowing the facts about your car for an oil change before you go in, oil capacity of your car etc. I have been overcharged for oil twice (1 quart=$10) and will not make that mistake again. Toyota Prius holds 3.9 quarts of oil but charged for 5 quarts. This may not have been done maliciously, but being a smart customer is best course of action to avoid this.

Ive been going here for about 4 years. Never once had a problem. As a matter of fact they saved me about $600 compared to the dealer quote one time. Dons just an old-school type of dude and people get a little thin skinned about it is all. When it comes down to $$ and quality of work I highly recommend.

I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the service I received here. We had two tires replaced because they had worn dangerously low after just one year. I took the car somewhere else because it still seemed unsafe to drive and the mechanic told me the ball joints were so bad he was SHOCKED that this was missed. The car was completely unsafe to be driving and there was no way this shouldn’t have been seen. When I called and talked to the owner he didn’t want to hear anything I had to say. I would never take my vehicle back to Goodyear Pacific Grove.

What a friendly place. We were ableto get in while out of town for a tire roatation and alignment. Super pleased with our vehicle and the service.

Horrible service! Can hear team in repair bays talking, foul language. 2mo. Old tire blew off the rim. Don said he would send back to mfg to see about refund. Told to call back at a certain date. He had just sent tire. Not 1 follow up call. Our final stop, Don said we are getting 50 percent refund. Had we sent tire ourselves, would have had 100 percent rebate. We should have been told this up front! Do not go here! You wait, expensive, and does not listen or care about your needs for tires and repairs.

Got my oil changed and ordered some tires.

Tire indicator light came on. They checked out the car within 5 minutes of arrival after I called 20 minutes ahead of time.Tire pressure was low. No charge and we are on our way 10 minutes later. Fast and courteous.

ZERO STARS! SCAMMERS!! Do not take your car here!! Dishonest! I got an allen wrench stuck in one of my tires while driving home from work.. I took it here and the mechanic told me the tires were too worn to patch the tire. He insisted i would need 4 new tires on my car and that he could not patch the tire. He wanted to charge be over 500.00 for all the work. I took it to Monterey Tire Services in Seaside and they helped patch the tire in 30 mins for 21 dollars. I had the mechanic give me a second opinion on my tires, hetold me they were still fine and there was no need to replace them yet. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!

Are zero stars possible? I went here in an emergency a little over a year ago. They charged me about $600 for 3 Bridgstone tires and an alignment. I had gotten one tire from them a couple of months before. A year and a couple of rotations and 20k miles go by. I get the tires rotated at another shop . They show me how one is bald already on the outside and one is about 90% gone to the metal strap. I go back to this shop and am informed they no longer carry Bridgestone. He will call them and get back to me. He did not call me back. So I go in. He tells me with a straight face that 1. My tires dont have a mileage guarantee. 2. That its my fault because the alignment is off. When I point out that his shop did the alignment, he tells me that I am supposed to have that done annually and it had been 14 months. So oh well. SoL.For the record 1. The tires had a 65,000 mile warranty on them. This was confirmed by Bridgestone when I called them myself. 2. its not the alignment that needs to be done annually, its rotation that has to be done with each oil change.Needless to say, I had the work done elsewhere, Sullivans in Seaside. I did still have to pay for it because I hadnt kept all of the documentation on my tire rotations, which the company wanted. Bummer. But at least I was treated professionally and honestly. I keep all the Paperwork this time.

Don & Team are technically proficient and very polite. Plus, my new tire was on sale.

These guys are super helpful and honest with pricing. My girlfriend noticed she had a flat while we were across the street at safeway and stopped by, and they filled our tire for free and checked it out. A bolt was stripped so we also went in the next day to have it repaired. While we waited we had coffee at starbucks in the safeway across the street which was convenient. Tire has been great since! Thank you :)

Ive been using this Goodyear for just under 20 years. The service has been exemplary in every way. They always seem to find a way to make everything work properly without breaking the bank. Theyre courteous and knowledgable. The manager, Don Fretwell, has been there forever. Couldnt ask for a nicer, more knowledgable guy. When hes off, Derek, the owner, is there to ramrod the operation. Great service and very knowledgeable and honest staff. They helped fix an annoying squeaking noise on my SUV that no one else could figure out.

Oil change service was reasonably priced and done in 20 minutes.

Helped us out in a pinch...rental car had a leaky rear tire and we had a pebble beach tee time followed by a flight east. Dropped everything to get us patched asap...cannot thank them enough.

I dont even think they deserve one star. THIS SHOP AND THE PEOPLE WORKING AT IT ARE SCAMMERS!!! they had us come back 2 times for check engine light and we wouldve had to come back for a third time but we ended up just getting a new car. They made us end up paying more to them than we even paid out of pocket for our car! they have no idea what they are doing and it just so happened everytime the check engine light came on they accidentally missed something the last time it got a diagnostic check. DO NOT...I repeat...DOOOO NNOOTTT GO TO PACIFIC GROVE GOODYEAR!
