1st time here! Masks not required. Employees are wearing masks though. We went around 2 pm on a Sunday and it wasnt that busy at all. Easy in and out. They had a big parking lot. Alot of the adult bikes are still out of stock after the covid pandemic. There was only 5 bikes in stock. They had alot of shoes and clothing though.

One of the few places during the ammunition shortage that doesnt price gouge. They have pretty solid stock of most things, and they have a reasonable limit on ammunition purchases, which allows everyone to have a chance to get something they need. Ive always had a pleasant experience with them and all of their associates.

Good selection most of the time. My son is a boxer and we are both shooters so although they certainly havent had everything we were looking for in the past, they do have a wide enough selection to keep us coming back. The folks who work there have always been top notch!

I recently purchased a cooler and the staff there saved me $15.00 on it!! There employees are very friendly and helpful. They have a great selection of whatever you need for an active family!

While the apparel seemed to be priced a bit hi, I did find a few killer deals I hoped to come back to finish scooping up. This impressed me as I hadnt expected to find interest in much and went in only because the husband was after ammo. He waited nearly 30 mins for one of the two employees working that counter (a lady that had been busy doing some sort of work on the PC) to inform him they had sold out earlier in the day. I failed to understand why they didnt ask if he needed assistance sooner but as slammed as they was I tried not to judge. Keep having those special sales.

After trying to other stores, we finally found womens hiking boots here. The had a fair selection but the staff member who helped us was truly outstanding. She was thoughtful, helpful and engaging. Customer service like that will keep us coming back

Academy has always been my favorite sporting goods stop. Their in store brand BCG makes very reasonably priced clothes and shoes that Ive been getting for myself and kids for years. This location was very clean and the customer service was great.

I wish I got the ladys name. She was super helpful, nice and I think every shopper should be lucky enough to have a sales person like her. In shoes !!!

They people were so helpful! I was able to order my bike online and have it shipped to the store free of charge. They also assembled it for me with no additional cost!

Academy Sports is a great store. Lots of merchandise to look through and plenty of options for gifts. Shoe selection is amazing. Some items need to be price checked. Was able to purchase a wireless speaker for $50 less at Walmart not even a mile away. Great store and great products just do your homework before purchasing.

Would give zero stars if I could...staff was less then helpful went to get my daughter a ball bag seen the one I wanted on sale made sure on the tag it was the one I was getting (and it was) drug the bag all around the store shopping for other things got up to the counter and it was $40 more then the sale price...I told them it wasnt right I showed the guy where I got the bag showed him the tag and he said it must have been put in the wrong spot because that wasnt the bag..we have spent hundreds of dollars in this store will NOT do that again looks like I need to find another sports store

We went looking for a new bike for our grandson. We got great cooperation from the sales person. He removed training wheels and let us try riding it on the front sidewalk. Unfortunately, fall isnt a great time for bike choices.

Found a pair of Under Armour shoes on clearance marked down from 60.00 to 29.95, got to the checkout and was asked to apply for a Academy credit card and saved 15.00 on the purchase making my shoes basically 15.00!!! Definitely worth the trip, and the staff deserves all the credit for helping me. Thank you Academy for a great shopping experience. Highly recommend for everyone who wants to save on quality merchandise!

Honestly amazing. I know its just a sports store and outdoor store but it has everything you really wouldnt expect there. they have a power wheels with an aux cord and something to charge your phone with on the power wheels. Im 14 and still shocked- but it has amazing service and would go back for my power wheels needs-

At least 50% of the store is Out Of Stock. Barren shelves. There are several items Im going to order online for a better selection. Under normal circumstances Academy is a great store!

The experience was excellent . They price matched Walmart after confirmation of Walmarts price on a Henry rifle with real professionalism. Ill be back .

I went to Academy with an idea of what I wanted for a gift. I went several weeks early to have time for ordering if it was out of stock. They had the item, and two masked young men loaded the huge box in my small car. They were great!

Great place place for out doors stuff

Went in looking for hammock chains and could not get anyone to show me where the hammock section even was. Was just told they didnt have hammocks. I wanted to look in the section they would normally be in to find accessories. Two different employees and both were zero help.

Me and my friend went here during the pandemic. We were told the governors law was only one person per vehicle. Of course this is wrong its nowhere on the site. one person per household. Ask for a manager some little fat guy coming out told us it he really wasnt worried about it basically that it was the law. I sent an email to corporate in Katy Texas no response so I guess they dont care that they missed out on about three or four hundred dollars that day

My wife was shopping for shoes. She is somewhat hard to fit. The clerk who waited on us was extremely helpful and was able to offer advice on the different brands and styles with regard to how they tended to run with regard to size and width. The store has a system by which a clerk can check on available stock simply by scanning a product with their hand-held device rather than having to walk back to the stockroom. The store is clean and well lighted. The service was very friendly and efficient and we were pleased with our purchases.

Nice outdoors store. Not a huge selection of ammunition but it is two days after Christmas. The rest of the store was well stocked.
