There were multiple cashiers, and the lines were dealt with quickly. The cashier was fast but also very kind. The people out on the floor were very friendly and super helpful in finding things. Especially the canned pumpkin!
Always busy no matter what time you go. People dont know how to maneuver a cart in the aisle ever, and not so friendly people here. Definitely never dealt with this in the south!!
I needed an insulin pen while I was out of town. They didnt ask about insurance and quoted me a price via email as though I had none. Shocker! I called them with my Medicare information and they readily corrected my order. Im a happy camper.
Store is improving but help is hard to find. Kinda lost since the shift in the stores layout.
Ive never been in a dirtier more poorly stocked Walmart. Merchandise laying in the aisles was the norm. The shelves in the grocery section were picked over and many were empty. I went to the deli to get stuff for a sandwich and they was one block of cheese and one smoked turkey. Where was the food? The soft drink shelves were nearly empty and so was the milk cooler. This Walmart had always been pretty bad but its definitely getting worse.
Its Walmart and most are not intent on service; this one is no different. Store was busy, handicapped parking full, no scooter carts available, and 2 checkers working. Quite a bit of sparse or empty product shelves. I dont ever expect much in the way of convenience when I shop in Walmart stores and Covid has made it worse.
I avoid Walmart at all costs. Unfortunately, I HAD to go there. It was what I was expecting. There werent any dead bodies on the floor. So that was nice.
I went up there a few days ago with my grandma to get a table that she had bought but she have her truck so we had to go back home and get it and when we did we had great service the work Named Sarah was amazing and never left out side and Jack and Sam where awesome helping us load the truck and putting the straps and trarp on! Yall were awesome thanks for helping us out!
Ran in to buy a few things that I forgot to bring on a trip. The staff was helpful in directing to find what I needed. The store was clean and checkout was quick.
For those that regularly frequent the store you know where everything is but be aware they have reshuffled some departments for better flow of traffic. If in doubt you can download their App. and then simply type or speak what you want and it, the app, will tell you exactly where it should be. Note, it sometimes says multiple locations so you will have to use a little common sense to determine its correct location.I would like to see more Human Tellers, especially on the weekends, since checking out in the self checkout line is brutal with items that cost by weight (Unless you are a master at this it can be frustrating).Overall this particular Walmart is friendly and helpful when you need it. More Humans at the Checkout Aisle on the weekends would get you a Fifth Star.
This store is cleaner than the one on Hinkleville road. The pharmacy is probably the best aspect of this store, the staff is always nice when I pick up prescriptions. The most frustrating part of this store is poor checkout. They never have enough lanes open, even in self checkout. The wait time for checkout is usually pretty frustrating
Speedy checkout. Self check out is much faster and keeps the flow of store traffic moving.
This store looks dirty and smells dirty . The employees feel they dont have to great...say thank you . .help you get your grocery off spinner....Employees just ignore giving customers any kind of greeting....it like they mad 😡 at the customers, just 😡 they are working ...I go through self check out ....the floor dirty the registers dirty food ...spills ..no bags its a mess...even the drink machines are broken....I dont understand why the workers just stand? They should be restocking bags and wiping the germs off register.. ..Southside Walmart looks run down....its not the customers its the employees...a little wiping and picking up couldnt hurt....Also the Employees are RUDE ....
It was good but need more cashier
Pretty decent. Not alot of shoppers when i was there and some shelves were almost bare. With the Covid 19 it has been hard to find some items BUT Walmart has been stepping up. I commend their employees for going above and beyond.
Love this walmart in paducka very clean nothing is locked up and bags are free. In California they are very dirty people are rude and everything is locked up even socks and you have to either bring your own bags or pay $0.10 per bag
Theyve moved the store around but everyone was really helpful. Clean good Walmart. Good staff
The lines were way too long, Including Alec check out. I saw employees in all departments without their required face covering and those who were wearing them were not doing so appropriately. Customers will just push you out of the way.
A definite must for truck drivers to keep on their list as a place to be able to shop. MOA was polite and gave great directions as to where we could park our semi so we could be able to do our shopping.
This Walmart, was in Paducah-KY,--5130 Hinkleville Rd, Paducah, KY 42001And it was a good-sized Walmart store, clean and organized, and during these times....THEY Looked like they had ALL THEIR Stock! Unlike Our store in Marion,IL!! This was a nice store.
I went in this store 10 min before closing to get 3 item, 5 min later i go up to register, in the infinite wisdom of walmart they close all self checkouts except 4, so i have to wait 15 minutes to get up to register to checkout. I spent 3 time as long in checkout line than i did shopping. This store does not care about people
Its pretty much a given you should check out your own stuff. Thats the fastest way youll get out of there. They are remodeling the grocery side at this moment, so Im excited to see how it turns out. Fingers crossed!
Lots of stuff at good prices. Taught me a new skill for employment. Check out and boxing clerk.
Went to check out and there wasnt anyone to help. Asked the guy overseeing the self-checkout if there was anyone to help me. He said no. It was all I could do to get the groceries, I shouldnt have to check them out and bag them by myself with my health conditions. Also, I dont work for Walmart.
So much better then before. Keep up the good work 😃
Better bring your flexibility to Walmart! It was a fine experience as long as you prepare yourself for everything being out of its original spot. Theyre doing a major floor move and entire departments are in different areas.
Meh 😕 wasnt in the slightest bit impressed customers were stomping around with mean looks upon their faces and the more rude they were to others it appeared they were all the more entertained. Just dont believe that Ill be going back any time soon.
They were pretty empty needed some passies for baby and one off the stockers told me the store only stocks what they want And they dont order much if anything unless asked by a customer I think they should order things anyway and put them out for customers to have the choice to purchase
Mgmt staff are arrogant and theres no reasoning with them. They dont seem to be very customer friendly. The regular staff at the register and sales floor however are fantastic with their customers
Nobodys wants the self check outs.My family & I have started going to Sams. Its alot nicer anyway.
Store has moved aisles, easier to get around. Needs additional Handicap Parking for customers. Havent been until lately, I prefer Cashiers over the Computer Check Outs !! Staff are friendly and helpful!!.
I recently had an accident in Walmart. I hit my head on one of the shelves trying to reach an item that was in the very back of a shelf. I have 2 black eyes and not sure yet if theres anything else wrong. I was told after they took the incident report if I felt I needed to go to a Doctor for further treatment just to call the store and notify them. I have been trying to reach someone all day and cant even get someone to answer the phone so I can let them know Ive been told I should get an x-ray So much for customer service.
The worst Walmart i have been too. Employees are not friendly are helpful at all.Had to wait 45 mins to even get a handicap scooter and then i had to go outside and find one myself. All the other Walmarts i have been too have at least u ate more. I live in a small town and we have 7. No own offered to help at all and if you ask an employee where something is all they say is I dont know and walk away. Been to this store multiple times even different times and days and same thing. I will not be shopping this store ever again. I am from out of town and everytime i come it this way.
Since I am the new greeter at the murray ky store...I love it. Helpful friendly. Always a smile when you come thru the door
Good store but always packed, I always run in get what I need then spend 20 minutes at the check stand..... There produce could be better in selections/self life. Way too many freezer items, and every time I got they always seem to be out of beef.... They have pork, but most never beef
Spring time. Saturday at noon. Go to lawn and garden. Nobody checking out ??? Parking lot full of mulch but nobody to help. No thanks. I went 200 yards east and went to Home Depot. In and out in 10 mins.
The overall experience was poor! Many shelves were bare or scarcely stocked throughout the grocery sections. Over a quarter of my listed needed ingredients were out with no substitutions available or comparable items, and employees were busy filling orders to assist.
I hate house the workers follow you around assuming that your stalking, which Im not. They look at you and judge you, so it seems.
Not extremely crowded. And all the stuff you expect to find at a Walmart
Love this store clean organized and VERY friendly staff
Just bought new tires at Walmart in Alabama last week with road hazard. Had a puncture/flat tire. This Walmart’s auto center took care of it and even put my spare tire back under the bed. I was expecting to see it in back of bed. The store manager checked me out because he happened to be passing through when I arrived. Excellent service today…..However, I was very aggravated with my attempts to contact telephonically yesterday to make an appointment. Disconnected followed by Several minutes ringing before answering system. Six minutes on hold. Serious issue in my opinion.
The remodel is on going but super friendly greeters and cashiers
Had low tire on Sunday morning. Service was great and the guys in automotive department were very friendly and helpful.
The fish tanks are disgusting. The assistant store manager Amanda and Ray (also a manager) claim that they are not responsible for the fish tanks. They claim an outside company is responsible for them. The tanks are in your store it reflects on you. I have 2 60gal and 1 55gal tank and my tanks never look like this. Fish tanks are very easy to maintain. Young children can take care of them. It is a problem of they dont care and pass it off on someone else. The fish suffer here not the people. This is the store on Hinkleville Rd in Paducah KY
Dated store. Didnt have any of the items I was looking for.
This place is not for Senior Citizens....you cant find anything and if you do...They change it, so, then you cant find it next time !!!Also.......If Im gonna pay the high prices, they better check us out and not have to stand in line over 30 minutes, like we did last time !!!!!No.......I dont like it, and only go there if I have to...
Actually way more helpful than the usual wally world, and the guy by the phones was so into me, AND smart and like should work for commission, I was sold on the phone he was telling mom about and I have a way better one already anyways lol
Store is always moving The items around and some of the personal are rude and disrespectful if you tell someone about it nothing happens the worst was a cashier I thinks her name was Shonnah. I will try the other store in Paducah. Or just start going to Kroger. For my familys needs
I have never seen anything like this what kind of Walmart is not taking cash I had to go to a manger and tell them what I thought about it then in about 20 or 30 minutes they finally open 3 lines
It was fine. Walmart is Walmart. It would be nice if they had more than two registers open at a time.
Worms were rotten, shelves were bare, there was 2 checkouts available and the self checkout was closed. Some staff were helpful but the others just acted like they were deaf.
Need more cashiers! I hate to spend my money and then have to self check. If I wanted a job, I would get one that actually pays a wage.
Too many people for me. I avoid the place unless I need something I can only get there. Sorry...
A typical Walmart. Had what we needed and more. Staff was very polite and friendly! Thank you for making us welcomed.
Wish they had more full service checkout lanes.
Its Walmart...they have a little bit of everything needed in a pinch, disappointing to find out they had no Sweet Corn or any Corn on the Cob though, and we asked. Scored my new Backpack Cooler Bag and Bait though, nice fast in and out trip.
Ive been calling for 2 weeks now daily and NOT a single person has answered in the auto or customer service. Not an exaggeration. Once a day for 2 weeks. I needed to order in a set of tires but you will never get my biz now.........
The are moving everything around and it makes it harder to find what youre looking for. The staff is always very helpful.
No checkers AT ALL. Self check only and so backed up it took at least thirty minutes to check myself out. If I wanted to work there, Id apply for a job. I just want an employee to check out my groceries. Too much to ask?? Apparently at Walmart it is. 🥴
Cant find thing due to arranging the store
Usually pretty busy, but its in a fairly busy area so you cant blame them for the amount of people there at one time. Some of the shelves and underneath could use a bit more cleaning. As far as covid goes, the amount of people that dont wear masks is ridiculous and some people refuse to give you even 2 feet of personal space. Even if there wasnt a virus going around, I still dont appreciate someone being in my bubble all the time. Number one issue with this Wal-Mart is the fact that they NEVER answer any phone calls no matter what department you call. Sometimes you dont want to get out for one item and a quick call could give you the answer you need.
The store was empty in alot of areas an disheveled all over. Wonder if they are closing that store or rearranging? Im going to a different location for awhile before returning here, and hopefully coming back to see a remodeled, organized & full store!
Auto center open on Sunday, reasonable prices and very friendly staff!
I have never rated a Walmart before but this place deserves some recognition.First of all, it is so clean and well organized. But it was the staff that made me post this. Everyone I encountered was so friendly! I was in a hurry and asking floor staff where to find certain items and the cashier was awesome too. The customers were friendly as well.Maybe its Paducah?? I have no clue but it was the best experience ive ever had in a Walmart!
Only three lanes open besides self-checkout. Self-checkout had a line a mile long
Night shift management was poor. I purchased a bottle of wild Turkey Rye whiskey and set it down on the self pay table only to see it fall to the floor and shatter! I was in store over 40 minutes awaiting clean up and to see if they had another bottle which they did not.I realize all Stores are different in A lot of ways but this store needs help badly.
I see why so many people shop on line these days I know i ran into 7 Walmart workers and not one was of any assistance but the greeter walking out the door was nice.
ConvenientBut the luggage 🧳isle was completely empty 😕
Nasty!! We were walking in and parking lot and sidewalks were covered in garbage & walked in and went to childrens shoe isle and there was apple slices and grapes smashed in floor and was everywhere. Just plain gross 😝 & then its 5pm on Monday and we are standing in customer service line and the worker yells they r closing now. And turned all of us who were in line and had been waiting!! Just terrible service.
As always service was great. Such a wonderful service especially for people who are unable to go in the store. Just wish you would add Metropolis to your delivery route.
The ladies in costumer service was very friendly and helpful... Overall employees Not many seemed to want to be there that day and usually have to hunt or pick another time if you need assistance in jewelry
If thay dont have it go online
Termination!!! This is the worst Walmart that Ive ever been in and Ive been in all 50 states... Dirty unorganized, employees on their cell phones, no attentive towards customers, and the place is absolutely a disaster... Inside the floor set was being redone but absolutely no excuse for the mayhem and mess throughout this location.... You will ask yourself why does the general manager and the district manager still have a job.
Id give it 5 stars if theyd stop adding so many self checkouts. Not EVERYONE can just zip right through it...
I know it is probably due to the covid sickness, but their shelves are bare,at least some are and they are always out of the stuff we happen to need at the time.
Kudos to the cashiers that are actually running a register and dealing with customer complaints.Every time were in there anymore the lines ridiculously backed up. All because corporate refuses to allow management to call up more cashiers. This is just the beginning of Walmart forcing customers to use self-checks. If they want us to do our own ringing and bagging, aka an employees job, they should at least give us the employee discount.
Long lines at self check out. Problem with our register. Employee was helpful. All items we hoped to buy were not in stock. Will be shopping Kroger for as many items as possible.
Fair. Shelves not stocked very well but friendly employess
Always have what you need for everyday shopping. Long walk to the back for milk and such.
Paducah KY changing everything around have to keep trying to find someone to ask not enough electric carts for seniors
Shelves are bare down many aisles. Always see pickers pushing there buggies around to fill pick up orders. Seems that store shoppers get the short end of the stick
Walmart is terrible always. I stood in line to be checked out by a person, that needs the job. Im not a Walmart shopper, twice a year at best and then only as a last resort.
Great location. Good environment. Great place to shop. Has lots of different selections from whatever you want to buy
It okay floors were dirty last night
Pretty cleaned store is good to see alot of people together doing their shopping.
Always find what I need
When we went to check out there was only one register open and we stood in line forever. I asked the head cashier if she could open more lines and she said she didnt have anybody to put on the lines. The cashier were on lunch and said why she didnt get on a register to help out and she walked away .
Just saw an employee of the store across from Kentucky Oaks Mall park in the handicap area with her WM vest on indicating that she was working. I’ve seen this before at this store and others taking close parking spots. I think these areas should be for customers and the store management team should enforce this policy.
Not enough safety measures are taken. Sometimes they sanitize the carts and sometimes they dont. Not everyone wears a mask. They are always out of so many items and no one seems to know if or when they will get more. A lot of the employees could use classes in showing respect and being polite. There are still some nice ones that makes it a pleasant shopping experience but they are just a few.
Its Walmart. Still love it tho
I like this store. I seem to find everything I need fast and get checked out quick. Friendly staff also
We will need a few more years to aggravate our lives in our lives as well maybe even a few days ago we had to get a chance to see some pictures from our first trip back home in a couple of months for the first week of school.?
I cant write anything bad about the store. It was a bit cluttered but being honest, looks like thru are in the middle of a store reset.
Ordering groceries online here is a disaster every time. They will not substitute a single item. Things like a simple gallon of milk and ground beed are just unavailable after already paying for them, because the associates dont want to find a replacement. My orders are always reduced by $50-$100 due to all the items they dont give. You will be given snacks/pantry items and your fresh food and meals, you will have to go inside to get yourself. And yes, the milk and beef will be there on the shelf somehow! Dont bother, you will have to go inside to finish shopping to feed your family every time anyway.
It was not a good experience, they seem to be a lot more interested with people who call in orders than taking care of the ones in store. This I do not like!!!!!
Its WalMart. A community stable.
Everybody loves Walmart LOL the Walmart Paducah Kentucky had very friendly staff and they were helpful thank you
The way theyve rearranged it its throwing mr and my husband off really bad but other than that not too bad
Sure wish they would go back to having more cashiers and less self checkout. Hate self checkouts.
Needed assistance finding a couple of items, and the staff was really helpful and friendly.
