Sales staff are friendly and knowledgeable.This is not a good time to be buying furniture. Inventory is low and with brisk sales and tight supply, most furniture stores are not inclined to haggle prices.

I was in the store Friday looking at beds found one I liked was told it was available I told the sales person I would call and I did on Saturday and was told he would get paper work and would call me back. After waiting for a few hours no call I called him only to be put on hold I hung up thinking he was busy. Within a few mins he called me to tell me they had had a meeting that morning and couldn’t sell me the bed I would have to order and it would take up to 8 weeks why didn’t he tell me that the first time I called ? He said they had the meeting that morning so he knew that when I called the first time. Well they just lost a costumer I won’t buy from people that lies to me. Remember if you go in their store they can’t sell you anything has to be ordered and you have to wait they can’t wait to replace what they sell. I WONT BE BACK

We went into Higdon furniture to look at La-z-boy recliners, not expecting to purchase this visit. They had a large selection to choose from. Customer service rep. Dennis Ramage gave us lots of information and then gave us ample time to try to find the perfect recliner. He came back multiple times to check on us and to answer any questions He went above and beyond to help in our selection and even personally helped to load in our vehicle. I love my new La-z-boy power recliner and would definitely purchase again from him and Higdon furniture. Thanks again for all your help, Donnie

Nice furniture high prices tho

Bought a couch, 2 chairs, 2 wool area rugs, stacking tables, side table, entertainment center and recliner almost one year ago. Four of those products had issues ( wrong fabric on couch with large stain, mismatched upholstery on matching rocking swivel chairs and crooked doors/ handles on entertainment center. We are now having issues with the recliner!The sales person and Andrea in customer service were great to work with trying to correct the issues. Once the manager/owner got involved, things went downhill. He called the morning after my posted review and insisted I change the poor review because I was wrong about the mismatched chairs. I was in tears when he came to our home only to prove me wrong about my original posting that the original mismatched chairs were replaced with the same set of mismatched chairs.He was asked to leave our home by my husband.We spent $1000’s of dollars after deciding to keep our business local and were treated very unprofessionally, and unfairly from him. BUYER BEWARE!

Good selection of furniture however they dont carry sofa brands such as Mayo and King Hickory. Has Ashley Furniture attached to it which is nice.

I love this place. The people are very kind and helpful. The furniture is high quality and the prices are very good. They have a lot to choose from, too. Actually, it is what a furniture should be. Definitely check it out if you are in the market for quality pieces.

The sales associate greeted us as we came in . She took us right to what we were looking for. She listened to what we said and made suggestions based on that.As well as, they have a large selection of very nice furniture.

Was over a month to get the furniture delivered after purchase. Once it arrived a peice was damaged. Took two more weeks to get a replacement. Then the wood on some of the peices needed to be reglued. Spent three thousand dollars on this and received a poor product. Also one peice was failing and I called to get someone to look at it. Never received a call. Buyer be warned.

The prices are slightly out of line for the quality, in my opinion, BUT, my sales professional was so nice, and very knowledgeable. Also, there was an issue with the piece I ordered after it was delivered, and while it was slightly inconvenient, the experience with the staff was yet again, wonderful. I called and without hesitation they wanted it corrected, and it was within a weeks time. I will for sure be going back, and the team there is a big part of that.

Beautiful store with excellent quality furniture and a great staff! Shae was extremely nice to my wife and I as she took care of us after hours since we arent from the area and got there just before closing. Highly recommend stopping by and checking them out!!

I really liked this place. What they have is quality merchandise and the sales people are knowledgeable, professional and not pushy. Ive been to several furniture stores in southern Illinois and this one is my favorite.
