I applied to work here and was hired for a shift and department that i didn’t apply to. The hiring manager neglected to make sure that my username was ready to go prior to my computer training day. The new hire that was sitting next to me refused to stop talking to me while i focused on the task at hand. The union representative interrogated me after i walked up stairs and then entered the computer room and started conversing with us while we were focused on our work. I intended to stay longer to finish the tasks, but I had no confidence that I would be paid for the extra hours. I was walked to the time clock to punch out and I was never clocked in to begin with. I was given one new shirt that fit and a slightly used shirt that didn’t fit. Giant Eagle can’t find employees due to an upper management problem.

Usually a well-run place with lots of stock. Its also one of the cleaner and well organized GEs Ive encountered. As long as its not a holiday or weekend, short checkout lines. However, they vastly overprice all of their food. You will definitely pay a premium here.

My wife went to the store for a few items, among them were donuts. Giant Eagle donuts are usually pretty good, but in the afternoon when I went to eat my second maple iced filled long John -- I took my first bite, and felt a long hair in my mouth. I went to pull the hair out of my mouth, and could feel the icing coming out of the maple icing. Needless to say, I wont be getting donuts from here anymore. I will be surprised if I go to shop for anything else as well.

Great store! Way better now that the security guard isnt trying to be the mask police. Clean store, friendly staff, fast checkout. Love going here.

Seamed like a nice store...prices were a little high to me.and they dont have enough cashiers working.I dont use the self check out.because that what they are there for.

On Sunday 9/12 I didnt receive my groceries that I ordered online to be delivered to my house even though I was told they were delivered by Vanessa the driver. I called the manager at the Madison Wal-Mart and he told me he would call me back in 3-5 minutes. He never called. I never received my groceries. I will never shop for groceries at the Madison Wal-Mart again.

Curbside pickup is not good here, go to Mentor for that. Otherwise this is a good Giant Eagle, big. Their GetGo is usually cheaper than others in the Mentor area and they have a car wash too.

Got my flu shot here. Good, clean, but busy store. Very nice actually.

Got their rotisserie chicken called and they put one aside for us. The lady I believe her name was Vicky was unbelievably kind and friendly to us,wished us a good evening its nice to be treated nice and chicken was awesome! Thanks for a good experience and for your kindness.

I like the self scan that they offer. It makes it so easy you just take the device and scan and put into the bags provided. Check out is so easy you just scan at the self scan island and pay.

Always my grocery store of choice. Low prices AND big selection. Unless you need SUPER fancy stuff, no need to go elsewhere.

Its my local grocery store, and its often convenient when you need to pick up a few last minute things, and the staff is nice enough. Their driveway and parking lot could use a little TLC seeing as the stretch between Get-Go and the Giant Eagle has potholes that arent exactly easy on your vehicle.

Nice store, they seem to have ALOT, of anything you are looking for. Quite a large store!

You think if you order a prescription and they cant fill it they could pick up a phone and call you so you dont go to pick up and its not ready

Grate place to shop! They have tons of freshly made meals, salads, and almost any food you can think of plus a maned departments, for pre made, very large deli, bakery and deserts, see food and a butchers dept. The maned departments usually 2 or 3 people that are knowledgeable and very nice!! The rest of the store has lots of verity, well stocked a very clean. They also have a very large wine selection and state liquor store. Great place to shop!!! 👍👍👍👍👍

If you shop in person, you will find a store that has an excellent layout, is well maintained, and has an large, excellent assortment of products. Produce is fresh with a large assortment of organic produce and hard to find items such as celery root. The bakery has delicious, artesian breads, donuts, and you can not beat their pumpkin roll when available. The bagels are much lighter and less chewy than they used to be. I preferred the original bagels.. Meat and Fish assortment are excellent.. The down side are the prices. Except for sale items, prices are much higher than other grocery stores.

Only shop there once a month or when ever I need certain items. Always crowded and no lines r open is the main reason I dont go. Never go on weekends unless u go late

A good Giant Eagle. Produce has improved greatly since I first started living in this area. Deli and Bakery are both great. Giant Eagle is not the most affordable grocery store, but with fuel perks and coupons it is manageable.

We have been using Curbside pickup since before COVID. The online system works well, the personal shoppers are wonderful. We appreciate the way they communicate through texting when they’re substituting or when there is an issue. The personal shoppers do a very good job and we appreciate them as well as giant eagle for providing this service. Thank you!

Its a great place to shop it was very clean they had more than enough registers open I was able to walk and find everything that I needed and as soon as I got to the registers there was a guy just stand there waiting for me so the stores run very well and everything is fresh I highly recommend this giant eagle

Its Sunday, 3 p.m. . It was great! Not too busy. I love going shopping there mostly because they dont change things around a lot. I know where everything is. My pharmacy is there too. Its been 15-20 years shopping there. Good people.

This is the first & only Giant Eagle Ive ever been to that REQUIRES you to have an Advantage card to buy anything/check-out!When I was here 2 years ago, it simply ask you to scan one or opt to proceed without a card.Now it requires one, or leave.I had to wait 10 minutes for assistance to clear the issue and scan/buy anything.If youre not a local, avoid this store. They are NOT customer-friendly.

Giant eagle is awful and way over priced. Long lines, unhelpful employees, and never close to though registers open.You can get better produce for the same price at heinens or the same produce for cheaper at marcs.

Store doesn’t follow mask mandate. I told someone to wear one. She got in my face, threatened me and made a scene. Employees did nothing. I made a report and the security guard told me to grow up.

Great place to grocerys shop

I frequently go to this Giant Eagle because its close to home. They always have my husbands favorite icecream and that is all that matters.

Had to wait for about 30 min, in a car with unreliable heat in 20 degree weather. Not a great experience!

The cashier I had was a very rude Young Man. When I asked him to put my chicken and my laundry detergent in separate bags. He snidely said they are in plastic containers. I had to tell at him to please put them in separate bags. I will start shopping elsewhere... not the first time for a ride cashier there.

Great grocery store. You can just about anything you need. They have a great produce selection. The bakery is great! They have a pretty good beer selection as well. Large parking lot. Easy to get in and out of. Pretty solid choice for groceries.

Curbside pickup is the only way I can shop and first impression is theyre fantastic employees, fixed a minor problem without hesitation and I appreciate that, courteous, friendly, highly recommend

Above average store that has a little of everything. There are fancy cheeses, international items, and seasonal fruits. Most importantly its very clean and organized. If you are looking for a grocery store for every basic need this is a great place to go.

As Giant Eagles go, this on is rather good. The store is large enough to have a wide variety of products. Sometimes I think they try too hard but come up a bit short. The photo is if a generically decorated cake they had for Super Bowl Sunday.

For people trying to be safe and choose curbside pick-up, DO NOT use this service, it is a scam! Wal-Mart is better.They lied to us on our last pick-up and substituted items which were much more expensive than they told us on the substitution call. When we tried to call to make it right, they refused since we approved the substitutes, even though they lied to us. Go to wal-mart instead, they will give you FREE substitutions there and much better customer service.

Had to speak to a manager about an employee who leaves wet paper towels at the end of the self checkout lane where my food is so she can wet her fingers down for whatever reason. This is after mentioning it 3 previous times. Disgusting, especially in these pandemic times. Told them next time Im taking a picture and calling the health dept.

I just went in there on Friday 1/17/20 to get some flowers for a couple people/secretaries whove been really great to me over the past couple years.The woman working the floral counter was great. It seemed like we were getting off to a rough start but I tried being really nice and she ended up giving me a great arrangement for almost half my budget. I think she saw my jacket that indicated I was a college student.The arrangement was beautiful, creative, appropriate for the occasion, well put together for transportation, and priced very well.The person I gave the flowers to almost started crying because she had been having a horrible day!I love how this chain of people being nice, helpful, and thoughtful showed through in my day, its so rare these days so THANK YOU for helping me maintain my fainth in people and humanity for another day.I hope someone reading this pays some kindness forward because it can and does make a difference!!!

Good selection. Good prices. Excellent discounts on items most people buy on a regular basis. Plus you can learn discount on gasoline just by shopping for the things youre already going to be shopping for and theyre conveniently located. I suggest you stop by and grab those little things you need for your cupboard and refrigerator.
