Love this store. The deli workers are so friendly and patient. Love the deli salads and the fact most of them are house made. Great hometown feel which is hard to come by these days.

Wonderful hometown grocery store. This is a Perry staple and has been for all of my 38 years, and many years before that as well. Their employees are always friendly and welcoming. The deli has some of the most delicious cold salads I have ever tasted. Their homemade potato salad and broccoli salad are absolutely amazing. They also have a great meat department, with a meat cutter onsite. They stock quite a bit of locally grown produce when in season as well. Prices are of course a small bit higher than youll find at a major big box chain store, but that is to be expected with any family-owned small business. They make up for it with the convenience, selection, and great weekly sales.

Our family has been going here for quite sometime and never a disappointment!Deli is always fresh with homemade salads you wont get that anywhere else. Employees are courteous, respectful and go out of their way to help. If you havent been there its worth a trip youll never want to shop anywhere else!

It sure beats the larger grocery stores, especially when you only need a few things. The people are attentive to your needs. Its my go-to store for most of my shopping needs.

This locally owned and operated grocer is stellar. I try and support local business as much as possible, and with service this great it makes my choice even easier. Their product selections might be a bit lacking, but they make up for it with great deals and bargains. The deli is a wonderful addition to what a great store this is, with fresh made pasta salads, sandwich spread and desserts. Bonus points for a well stocked beer and wine aisle. If you like supporting local, shop IGA. Mentor Headlands location is a great secondary choice if this location is a bit off your beaten path.

This is literally the worst grocery store I’ve ever been to. In theory it would be convenient to go here since it is close to home, despite the high prices, but I swear to god whoever does the ordering for stock should be pushing carts instead. I’ve swore this place off at least 20 times over the past couple years. They lack the ability to regularly stock basic groceries. Today it was spinach. Last time it was penne pasta. Once it was a freaking onion. There’s nothing worse then having a cart full of things and then realizing that you have to drive 20 minutes to a good grocery store to buy a basic grocery that literally every grocery store in the entire world stocks. Nothing makes me want to ram my cart into the shelves more then the lack of competency involved here. Every bit of me wanted to puncture every bag of greens today. I will not go back anymore. Terrible.

Some prices are high, but I found huge frozen shrimp for 5.99 a bag and I got two! Yummy, their meat is priced pretty good, alot cheaper than other stores.

I want to like this store so bad because of how convenient it is to my house but with the high prices you need to do more. Several times over the past couple of months I have ran in to grab stuff only to come home and see it has expired. Relish, frozen French fries are two examples. I guess my fault for not checking but seriously double the cost for an item they should have people taking the old stuff off the shelves. Also the produce is never fresh. It is wayyyyy overpriced and old af. Cashiers and deli staff are nice but store needs to kept up with in order to have those high sticker prices. It’s a shame because I want to love it but end up hating it every time I leave.

This place has been here since I was conceived. Acting as Perrys only real grocery, you can find all your basic necessities here. Theres fresh produce, meat, and even a deli counter. If youre looking for a niche food item, they almost certainly wont have it. Theyve renovated the inside over the years to bring it up to date, but this is generally a no frills kind of place. The staff are friendly and talkative and make the chore of grocery shopping painless.

They have great food. Thier meat Dept is one of the best. They make their own sausage. Having a party? They have great party trays, cold and hot, chicken packages. Highly recommend.

Its such a nice hometown grocery store. They have fresh, cut on premise meats, a great deli department and a hell of a beer selection! (Kudos for that, guys!) And they recently started carrying more vegan and vegetarian options, as well. They even have a new little section of featured local products.A great place to shop for a small grocery run with friendly staff and usually quick in and out. Id much rather give my hard earned money to local stores like IGA than Walmart.

This store is the only near by grocery store and for some reason they cannot provide fresh produce. Everytime I buy produce here the grapes are turning brown, the in side of my green pepper was black and the lettuce is brown on the in side. For the extra price you think you would get fresh food

They make a homemade potato salad that is to die for and cant be distinguished from your own homemade potato salad. I just buy it about boy and a couple bags and then people think I worked really hard to make this potato salad. they also have a great homemade macaroni salad their homemade salads or marvelous.

Great old style Grocery Store. Love shopping there. The Fried Chicken Special on Fridays is an awesome price and its delish.

So glad that this grocery store is so close to home! They are always well stocked, the staff is friendly. They have an amazing beer & wine selection and their meats are cut in house. The deli is full service and features Bores Head quality products and many homemade salads.Storewide Ive noticed that theyve been carrying more vegan and vegetarian options. (Kudos for that guys, keep it up!) I highly recommend the stuffed mushrooms in the produce department!Always quick in and out. Prices are a bit high on some items, so you have to be a saavy shopper. However, Id much rather give my hard earned money to local stores like IGA!

Friendly staff and store is reasonably clean. Often times they have things I cant find in other stores. But you need to watch the expiration dates and the produce is just average.
