Derrick poor at assisting customers due to race. I brought my vehicle in and they persuaded my relative to not fix my truck if they are the one paying to get it fix. Due to that I had to take it to a good mechanic who fixed my vehicle with no problem. I have no problem if they need to show my face and also show proof to also trying to take parts off my vehicle. I even had to point out the issue they messed up. I have pics also.

Had a cylinder misfire so I brought it by for further diagnostics. They confirmed the misfire and found a hole in the line for my air intake. They fixed everything in a timely manner and were kind and professional. Shout out to Derek who was patient with all of my questions.

I needed new struts on my Explorer. Every place I called either didn’t have the parts, or was extremely over priced! Quality Auto Repair was able to get me in immediately, complete the job in a timely manner, and was veryyyy well priced! They were so sweet & fun with my two kids the entire time!! I was referred to Quality Automotive at 414 Martin Road, Palm Bay Florida in April 2021. It was my first time using the services of this shop.My experience was stellar. The services were completed on time, and at a very fair price. The shop owner, Derek Medlin, and the assigned mechanic were both very helpful, and informative. I would recommend the shop to others looking for transparency and a fair price. The range of services includes straight forward oil changes and battery installations to very complicated suspension, engine and transmission matters as well as brakes. I would strongly recommend.

Very Honest and one of the most reasonable shops in Palm Bay. I came there last year with my White Volkswagen Eos to get some coolant leak fixed. It was fixed within 2 days. I currently own a charger but having some wheel problems but I know they can fix it

Last year I went to Quality Automotive to get new brake pads for my Jeep and they told me that the pads had at least another year of wear left. I went back this year and had the job done. I also had an oil leak. The Jeep dealer had said that both the engine and transmission pans were leaking. Quality only found the transmission leaking and the cost was a quarter what was estimated by the Jeep dealer. The leak has been fixed. Quality Automotive is honest and does great work.

You won’t find a group of more genuine car dudes. I wouldn’t trust my car maintenance stuff or fixes with anyone else now, I’m really glad we found them when we moved to Melbourne last year. The owner Derrick is a genuinely great person and cares above all that you’re taken care of and on the road safe. Their work speaks for itself, but when you add in the fact that they actually care about their customers, you get a type of company that’s very rarely found nowadays.

I dont write bad reviews. Ever. I work in the service industry and if i get bad service I just dont return. I also dont often write reviews of any kind. Occasionally though i feel the need to let the world know when someone goes out of their way to take care of me. This is the story of the service I got at Quality Automotive. Thankyou Derek!I am from out of state, and was traveling when my car broke down. I am automobile ignorant and I know I have been taken advantage of in the past. And, while on vacation and without unlimited funds i was at the mercy of any mechanic.I chose quality automotive because the reviews were consistent, and they were located close to where I was stranded.Derek was super busy but took the time to answer all of my questions. Also, strange but it seemed like he actually cared about my time as he appeared concerned, figuring out a way to get the part i needed so I didnt have to pay a fortune in hotel costs. I was back on the road the next morning.It wasnt till I talked to a mechanic friend a couple days later that i learned the price I paid was actually under market cost.Thankyou Derek for kinda salvaging my vacation and for not taking advantage of me. If youre ever in Wisconsin i promise i will return the kindness.

I recently had the misfortune of having both of my cars needing work done at the same time. Derrick and the team at Quality Automotive did a great job helping me. We had a problem diagnosing a cooling problem on our 05 Chevy uplander and they had it figured out and fixed within a few hours and it ended up costing much less then some of their competition (one of whom couldnt figure out the problem). Talk about Exceptional Service. The owner truly went out of his way to help me. I was stranded, 2 hours from home and no money. My tire blew, lost control of truck and ran into the wall on 95. I was able to pull off 95 and get to a safe location in the middle of the night. As soon as it was daylight I saw that I parked right across the street from Quality Auto Service. Very honest and knowledgeable. Very fairly priced. Will not push unnecessary repairs on you, but will advise you about what work needs to be done and what work you should consider to have done as well. I went in because my ac was blowing hot air, and they were able to diagnose the problem as a bad compressor and an expansion valve. They suggested I also replace the dryer, but they left the decision up to me which I greatly appreciated. This the only place I trust.

Quality Automotive truly stands by their name. Ken and the guys have provided us with excellent service at Commercial Electric for 10 years now. Just today, they came out to our shop personally to address an issue with a suddenly immobile truck. They always live up to their name....quality care and service.

I used their services for a particularly big job which was replacing the engine in a 2012 Kia Sportage. I called a few weeks prior to taking the vehicle in because it took me a while to figure out a method for payment. They were one of the cheaper priced places, in addition to, being one of the only ones that could get the right engine in time. The work was done within the expected time frame and Derek was helpful. However, the price was significantly higher then expected. Which was based on the fact that the original engine they quoted me weeks earlier, obviously was no longer available. Regardless, I didn’t expect such a major price increase. Furthermore, when I went to pay with a certified cashiers check they refused to accept it. That was a major headache because I had to put this charge on a credit card and pay it back with a personal loan! When I received my car back there was a small coolant leak in addition to a transmission issue-which was never there before. They tightened whatever caused the coolant leak and diagnosed the engine code as a transmission issue. But that’s it. I honestly still do not understand it, none of these issues were there prior..... and I don’t really like the way they handled my situation. I felt like they pushed it off to the next person (Sent me off the other shops) and the mechanics seemed irritated by me questioning to try to understand what may have happened. Anyways, my transmission had to replaced-which had I known I would’ve never fixed the engine in the first place (broken engine and transmission cost more then the car is worth). It’s been a nightmare honestly. Furthermore, it’s been just over 6 months since the engine was fixed and now it’s leaking oil (warranty of course ended after 6months). It just seems it’s been issue after issue with this company and the work wasn’t up to par. Derek at the front desk is very helpful, patient and kind. But I can’t say I’d recommend this business to anyone after my experience.

I took my truck in a month ago due to brake issues. Ken & Co. quickly diagnosed the problem and showed me exactly what needed to be fixed/replaced. Price and labor was very reasonable and their work is top quality. If my truck ever has issues again I know exactly where Ill be taking it. Highly recommended!

I recently returned to the shop 10 months after a complete brake job. I was feeling a not too severe pulsating in the brakes & was prepared to pay to have the rotors ground. I was pleasantly surprised when told the rotors were still under warranty & all 4 were replaced at no cost (parts or labor). My brakes once again feel smooth as silk. Ken runs a 1st rate professional shop & I highly recommend them.

I went to have rotors turned and they explained the process and safety issues involved. What I appreciated was they took the time to explain everything to me and they fixed my brakes without costing me an arm and leg. They are honest and they do quality work. I would highly recommend them!!!

I have been to this shop 3 times with two different vehicles in the last two years and they have done excellent work. Took my 2006 Silverado in recently to have a 75,000 mile tune-up as well as other things that needed to be fixed. I dropped by a few days earlier to see when the best time would be to drop it off. The day I dropped it off I was thinking it would take 2 days for them to accomplish what I wanted. They called me an hour later with a quote for the work and drive out price. It was very reasonable. While talking they mentioned that 2 of my tires were not in the best of shape and they could give me a quote for 2 replacements. I told them I only buy 4 at a time and to give me a quote. They called me back with a quote for 4 tires that was half the cost of the originals that I purchased at the national chain tire store. It also included alignment. Most tire stores will balance, but they wont align your vehicle. This shop does it all. Ive decided Im not going anywhere else. thanks Joe and team.

I just had my 2nd visit to Quality Auto Service. The first time, I had the front end aligned and their service was quick, friendly, solved all my problems and was very reasonable in price. Yesterday I took my jeep in to have new pads installed on the brakes. They told me that I didnt need them for another 10-15,000 miles and did not charge me. It is great to find a company that is honest and you feel comfortable using.

Its not the easiest garage to see from Babcock Street nor is it a chain or fancy. What it has been over several visits is a place with repairs done as stated at a moderate price and no high pressure sales or scare tactics. Honest mechanic work done promptly and courteously. These days - that works just fine for me. Unless proven otherwise, Ill keep taking my cars there.

A tow truck driver broke my wheel lugnut stud on my front tire. I was quoted by tire kingdom $150 and $164 by helsels, who told me it would take a hour and a half to fix my tire! Being a widow I can’t afford to miss work to get my car fixed when I called quality auto they quoted me only $45 and when I went in for my service they had me in and out within 30 minutes! I will take my car here for any further fixes and would happy to recommend quality auto to anyone and everyone I see!

Horrible experience from start to finish. I was new to the palm bay area and needed help with my car that broke down. Quality was referred to me with rave reviews by a family member so I dropped it off. Customer service was horribly rude each time I spoke to them. However, the store owners were very apologetic for that. It took them a couple weeks to even look at my car, which turns out they never did, because they couldnt produce any sort of report for me - $50 I paid for that non-existing report. Then they told me it was going to cost me $4000 or more to fix my car because gas was in the oil, and oil was in the gas. So they suggested I just junk my car and turn it into a cube. I then had my car picked up from Qualitys garage and towed 90 miles to my original mechanic of 20 years back in Orlando. Turns out it was a $700 fix. And the only reason it was that much was because in an Infiniti i30, the oil pump is a pain in the rear to get to. Had they even looked at my car, they would have known that. I understand Quality was very busy at the time, but there was no excuse for all that crazy business - they could have just said they were too busy and I would have totally understood.

Got my vehicle in, fixed and out in the time they said they would. Thought it was a fair price. Will look to them for further needs

I have found a new mechanic. Had my AC serviced there and was in and out within a half hour. The price was reasonable for the service. The price they gave me for an synthetic oil change was cheaper than Pit Stop.

Ok heres my story had a issue with my truck and had some other auto repair company give me a quote to fix and was told it was going to be about 3 hours of work at 80 bucks a hour.. plus parts.. so i thought about it and called people off google and found Quality Auto... First Id like to say as a customer to any auto shop JOE even though it was close to closing up shop he took the time to listen to my problems with my truck and gave me a quote.. which was half of what the other ppl gave me. yes Quality Auto was 10 bucks more than last guy but i was thinking ok do I pay alittle more per hour and get it done in half the time and get SUPER PROFESSIONAL PEOPLE that actually stick by there word..and get treated with the UTMOST RESPECT.. heck yea.. well after all said and done his ppl did a perfect job.. they fixed my issue and i am glad.. If you need a good repair shop go to them.. they wont over charge you and get it done ASAP... THANK YOU JOE AND TECHS AT QUALITY AUTO...I will be back....
