Honest, reliable and fair. I got quotes from three companies to replace my HVAC and A Best was by far the most reasonable. They also went WAY above and beyond to make sure the job was done properly. I couldnt be happier with the service they provided and am so fortunate to have found them!

After he left we did our research and made an easy choice.Our under-sized 12 year old A/C was running non-stop and barely able to keep up. Jeremy first quoted us for cleaning the coils and what it would cost if there were freon leaks. Our system used the expensive (and not environmental friendly) old freon. Even after cleaning the coils there was still a risk of having greater issues and leaks.It made more sense to replace our aging unit for something efficient, rather dumping a lot of money to keep our old AC alive. 10 yr warranty if you register the unit on the manufacturer website. Looking forward to seeing the impact on our electric bill in the coming months.

Great job by Chris cleaning out our ac ducts...quick, efficient and clean up when finished. Whats not to like?

My safety shut off had stuck and failed so a clogged drain pipe had gone unnoticed for a couple weeks. After clearing the pipe I noticed a small amount of mold in my unit. I called and the receptionist scheduled a pull and clean for the coil and blower for $450. Almost half the price of other quotes without pushy sales tactics. When the technician arrived he was knowledgeable and efficient. This gave my wife peace of mind and I will definitely use A-Best for anything I cant do myself in the future.

My air conditioner quit working at 3:30pm, I called A-Best and Sam came out at 5:00pm. This was TRULY the best experience I have ever had with an air conditioner company, from calling the office to meeting Sam. It was so great to talk to the office girl, she was so nice and kind, like she actually enjoys working. . . Sam was so funny, courteous and really knows his stuff. Had an ac issue during peak summer time. Steve the technician was here within 2 hours or less. Very nice guy and explained all of the issues at hand and the causes. Walked me through the entire repair. Capacitor was not performing up to voltage standards and was affecting my fan motor and draw on the compressor. Replaced it at a decent price ( yes I could have done it myself and saved a few bucks ) but with his knowledge and professional diagnosis and he explained everything in detail with readouts etc.. it was worth it. I think he will be my go to on further issues.

Our AC unit quit working so we called 4 different companies for quotes and Eric at ABest gave us the best price for a better unit than the competition was quoting. Sam was at our house the very next morning installing the new unit. I was so impressed how they cleaned up and left no mess! They were professional and knowledgeable. OMG for sure the best experience I ever had with ANY contractor. First of all from the moment their customer service operator (Meredith)picked up the phone, it was an absolute delight. She was patient, understanding, knowledgable, polite, very professional and personable at the same time and she was more concerned with helping me with my A/C issue than she was in getting my money. She walked me through a troubleshooting strategy to temporarily isolate the problem until Sam the technician arrived. By the way, Meredith did give me a 2 hour window of an ETA (as almost all other companies do) for Sam between 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM but UNLIKE all the other companies, Sam literally called me at 5:30 PM and was at my door promptly at 6:00 PM. I failed to mention that my HVAC was installed by Palm Bay Air and Heat on March 9, 2018...YES March 2018 I paid them $4,000 in cash for a new unit that malfunctioned a year and a half later so naturally that was the company I called first at 3:00 PM only to be lied to and then told that because I didnt have a maintenance contract in place that I would have to pay $59.95 with a credit card PRIOR to them even scheduling a service call which they couldnt guarantee until 9:00 PM and because it was past work hours, I would be paying an overtime rate. A-Best Air and Heat has a A+ rating on BBB and that is a big deal. This is an honest, reliable, professional and most importantly, DEPENDABLE. My A/C is now perfect thanks to A-Best. I did purchase a maintenance contract w/A-Best and would recommend ALL FAMILY AND FRIENDS to use ONLY A-BEST. Thank you Meredith and thank you Sam and thank you A-BEST! AAAAAAA+++++++++++

I contacted A-Best on a Monday evening about my AC leaking and they had someone out to my house first thing Tuesday morning. The tech (Sam) was polite, professional and very helpful. When my AC system went out I shopped around trying to find reputable companies to provide me estimates to replace my system. I called one particular company and was told that my system was dead and that I definitely needed my system replaced. My wife has ailments that require her to have a very cool house, so I told him to give me a quote. I was shocked by the price and immediately told him that I would discuss with my wife and get back with him. I then decided to check reviews and found A-Best Air and Heat. I called and was greeted by the office manager. I discussed my situation and she advised me to get a second opinion before deciding to make a big purchase. She locked me in for a service call and the tech came out within a couple hours. After diagnosing my system, comes to fine out that my system was not cooling due to a leak in my condenser coil. I am so lucky that I found A-Best because had I not, it would have cost me thousands of dollars to replace a system that only needed a new coil. All I can say is...thanks A-Best and Heat. Your company is truly bound on integrity. You diagnosed my system with honesty and did not try to move product to make money at the customers expense. I would recommend this company to anyone. Coming home from a 20 hour shift at the hospital to walk into a 99 degree home was nothing short of a nightmare. After a quick search I called A-best & they had someone out within hours. Unfortunately, my system had seen its last day but they had a brand new AC installed & cooling in no time! I would recommend them for any cooling needs and will certainly be using them in the future! After we noticed the AC was not cooling but constantly running James helped get a technician out right away. Sam was great! I told him exactly what was happening and he diagnosed the issue within minutes. The replacement and fix was super fast and our AC is working great, once again! We will definitely use these guys again!

The ac units I currently have were installed through these guys. They didnt call in to warranty the units. So, parts and labor was not valid. Every year a major problem occurs with these units. I had to make a service call a few days ago because one of my units went out before Christmas. The tech was on time for coming out and assessed the issue quickly. He also cleaned out my condenser pump. The price I got quoted was the highest quote I received from 8 different ac companies in the same area. A few days later the other unit wasnt working. I found out that the same tech didnt plug the condenser pump back in after cleaning it out. I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have had nothing but trouble with them and their units.

My A/C was leaking. I called and the lady that answered the phone was very friendly and efficient. She had someone out to my house within the hour. Sam the technician was very friendly and efficient as well...he also gave me some tips. Very pleased with the service!

Just had them come out to review a home inspection claim. He was able to start with the information I provided him and diagnose the issue in less time than it took me to finish my bowl of cereal. Sam is the techs name and he is extremely knowledgeable in his field. He was able to explain the process in the simplest form so that anyone could understand.

Do Not get the Summer Tune up special. It is a rip off! Over the weekend I had an issue with capacitor on my AC unit. I was able to temporally fix the issue and find the part online (roughly $40 with shipping). I probably could have replaced it myself, but figured I would get the unit serviced since I live near the beach and the capacitor was rusted out. Finding A-Best online, I called and spoke with someone who said the will come out the next day and replace the capacitor and give me their Summer Tune Up Special. He couldnt quote me on the capacitor replacement, but it would be between $120-180. He told me they would have to diagnose the issue first.The technician came out and was very nice. I showed him what I did and the issue I thought was wrong. He told me that capacitor replacement is $165, which is in the range I was told, but there was no diagnosis on his end. He just replaced the part and looked inside the air handler. Checked wires and told me that I should put vinegar in condensation line once a month since there was some build up. Then handed me a bill for $235. Capacitor $165, Summer Tune up $70. There was no AC test equipment hooked to my unit, and I feel like all he did was give a visual inspection. What a scam. Should have done the work myself and saved the extra $200 for when something did happen to AC.I did get the capacitor replaced, but do not feel any better about what shape my unit is in. I feel like A-Best did their best to over charge me for work that took their technician less than 1 hr from the time he pulled into my driveway, until he pulled out.I dont mind paying for work done, but feel like they really overcharged. I would never call them again for anything.

My husband and I own a small business here in Brevard County. We believe strongly in reviews and customer service but also building relationships with our business partners. When we were shopping for a new system for our daughters home we went straight to our AC company that we have used and referred for years. I was shocked at the quoted prices.We decided it would be best to check with another company to get a second opinion. After reading online reviews we made the decision to contact A-Best. They were able to come out quickly.. and provide great quotes on excellent equipment. I had a couple of questions about the quote and asked if it could be modified for a higher seer rating. James updated the quote quickly and was very respectful of our wishes and time. The new system was installed within a few days. Thanks for a job well done. :-)

Called with an ac system down on the hottest days weve had yet this summer and James was out with an estimate for a whole new system (what we requested after already having been round and round with at least 3 other companies) and a next day install date within 30 mins of calling. My AC stopped working at my office. I called another AC company that came out and told me numerous things were wrong with my unit. I felt they were trying to over sell me, so I called A Best Air + Heat for a second opinion. The secretary was professional and very nice and had someone there the same day. Come to find out, it was not numerous things, and a very simple fix.Excellent service, and prices. I had another company come to the house to repair the air conditioning system. They said there was nothing they could do and I needed a new system. I called A-Best. Sam showed up and corrected the questionable work that the previous technician did and instead of $8000, I paid about $400. The system works just fine. Sam is a great American.

Called for a service call because unit was not cooling. Office manager was amazing and pleasant. She scheduled me for a service call immediately. The technician came out and diagnosed the system and stated that I had a bad motor. He called the office to see if they had my motor type in stock. . They did. A staff member from the company delivered it to my house and the technician replaced it and the issue was solved. The service rendered was top notch and his attitude was great. Funny thing is, I had another company come out only to tell me that i needed a new system. THANKS A-best for saving me $$$$s!!!

LIFESAVERS! Great Service!!! Our air went out and we were in dire need! A neighbor recommended them as their Go-To AC Company after we called another company and a really pushy Ac salesman came out and told us we needed a complete replacement right away at their sky high prices . A-Best Air and Heats technician was able to fix the issue in 10 minutes and it was AFFORDABLE!! It was an old AC and we decided to replace it, but they gave us time to go over options and price shop. Sarah that runs the office was amazing!! We ended up having them install a new system after that (didnt want anymore breakdowns and we went with them again AFTER we price shopped) and Sarah was awesome at not only making sure we got a good deal but accommodating our complex schedule and getting the job done. This is now our Go-To AC Company !!!

I called A-Best when my air conditioner went down completely. They had one of their technicians out right away. Chris arrived promptly at the appointment time I was given. Chris was very polite, professional and pleasant to talk with. He quickly diagnosed the issues my air conditioner had and replaced the defective parts which he had in his service vehicle. It fired right up after these were replaced, putting out cold air as good as ever. He then checked over my whole system both inside and outside the house. What was really great, Chris talk with me the whole time showing me what he was checking, why he was checking it and then showing me the test readings that showed the defective parts. This was a great service visit which solved all the current air conditioner problems and put me at ease that the rest of the system was in good condition. All this was done in a very short amount of time.

This is the first time Ive used A-Best and this has been the best experience with an A/C company Ive ever had. I came home from a vacation and my A/C Unit was done. I called another Company and they came out but of course they wanted to sell me an entire new Unit. I called A-Best and they worked me into they busy schedule. The Technician diagnosed my Unit and come to find out I did NOT need a complete new Unit. Came back from vacation to find AC not operating correctly. Called A-Best, they had a tech come out that evening. He got us up and cooling after determining that we were low on Freon,(Bill is the best), came back the next day to find where the leak actually was. Unfortunately for us we needed to replace the indoor evaporator, chose to replace whole handler due to age of system.Bill worked his magic, new unit to be installed Monday.Julie in the office was very efficient and knowledgeable and super kind.Yes I would highly recommend them and definitely recommend the people we actually worked with.(Update after unit installation will follow.)

If I could give 10 STARS I would! We had only been in our new house for 5 days and noticed the blower wasnt shutting off on our AC. I called A-Best and within 2 hours a tech visited diagnosed the problem (Blower Motor), ordered the part and the next day if was fixed! The Tech (Corbin) was very respectful to our property taking care not to soil or disrupt the area being serviced. A perfect experience! Do not hesitate to call A-Best you will not be disappointed!

I am many miles from my rental home in Palm Bay so I always worry that I will be taken advantage of, however, this company definitely deserves their A+ rating with the BBB! The receptionist is so friendly and helpful and the tech was out the same day I called. When he couldnt find any problems with my AC he called right away to update me and only charged a small fee. I am so impressed with their professionalism and honesty. Thank you!

I had a technician come out due to our a/c not blowing cold air. The inside coil was frozen over and we agreed with the technician that he could return in the morning to find the leak. Next morning he returned and advised us that the outside coil was leaking as well as the accumulator. Repair and parts would be $2,900. Advised a new system for $5,200 was the other option. We called another company for a 2nd opinion. They found that just the accumulator was leaking and the repair was under $808.00. I had used A-Best in the past and felt they would give me a fair shake, this experience has soured me from using them in the future. The 2nd opinion Tech showed me there was no oil coming from the coil and was confused why A-Bests technician would have made this determination. I hope this wont happen to others in the future, $5,200 is a big price to pay for a technicians misdiagnosis.I would like to clarify that I feel this was an honest mistake by the Technician. In no way do I feel that he wanted to take advantage of us by recommending the A/C system replacement. We are all human and can make mistakes, I hold no ill will towards the Technician.UPDATE - I spoke with the owner, we agreed this was an unfortunate incident.

Very nice from the beginning with a caring voice on the phone. Tech was supposed to show up between 2 and 4 pm. He called at 1:30 and was at my house at 1:50. Which is a very nice change from other service companies. He also did not stop until he was done which was under an hour for the repair putting him early for the next customer. The tech also answered all my questions and never got annoyed. Great job and great people. The price was also a competative price. Thank you A-Best.

This was our first time using A-Best Air & Heat and we were pleased with our service. The receptionist was kind enough to reschedule me for a different time because my originally scheduled time didnt work. The tech arrived within the specified time allotted to me. Cory, our technician, worked efficiently at cleaning out the dryer vent and was very professional. Their prices were the lowest I found, and they are insured, I would recommend their services to anyone in need of vent cleaning.Just a side note: While outside in my yard yesterday I could actually smell the scent of my clothes drying. It was exciting to know that the vent was clean and working.

An FPL transformer was struck by lightning which went on to effect our Florida rental property air conditioner. I called A-Best Air & Heat (after reading all the reviews). They answered the phone immediately and were able to get to our property quickly. They diagnosed it as needing a new capacitor and thermostat. The repairman called and discussed what transpired and told us how much it would cost. We had them complete the work immediately (on the spot). I arrived home from work on a Monday night around 5:30pm to discover my 14 year old AC was out. A-Best Air and Head had a technician at my house in 30 minutes. I had a new, and much improved, AC system installed by Wed. The work was done professionally and they took care of the details that separates a company collecting a paycheck and a company that takes pride in their work. I am happy with the customer service, work ethic, and professional competency of this company and I can recommend them with confidence.

Called A-Best for a check-up, the technician Tyler was out within the time frame give and was very professional. He found a problem that I didnt know I had and now my a/c works better than before. I will use them again and highly recommend them.

The drain line for our AC handler had clogged, so the unit shut down. Florida summer is not the time to live without cool air. Called A-Best Air and Heat and was scheduled for service the same day. The technician, Chris, was there on time after a long day of work. He knew exactly what to do and had the line cleared in a few minutes. He was courteous and friendly and (best of all) efficient. Our old A/C system was not working effectively and we called A-Best. The next morning a technician arrived and quickly diagnosed the problem. We decided to replace it with a 3 ton, 15 Seer Rheem Heat Pump unit, which included an air handler, thermostat, drain line and outdoor pad. Everything arrived in two days and was installed on arrival. The technicians were professional, courteous and efficient. The new system is a huge improvement and our home is much more comfortable. Everyone at A-Best is a pleasure to work with and we have always been satisfied with their services.

Excellent service. My AC wasnt blowing cold air. I had another company take a look prior to A-Best and they suggested replacing the entire system for over $5,000. The A-Best technician found the refrigerant leak in minutes and had the part replaced, recharged, and running within the hour for 1/7th of the price.

The A-Best Air & Heat guys, Corey & John were on time & installed our A/C unit with no problems. After they were done, they picked-up & hauled away all the old parts & trash. Our neighbor works for a Commercial A/C Co. & checked it out & was very impressed with the work that was done. We highly recommend A-Best Air & Heat. Bob Thomas
