The customer service here is terrible!! I came in with the intentions of purchasing a piece of furniture I’ve been eyeing for months online. I was also very interested in a dining room set. When I say NO ONE spoke to me I mean NO ONE! I even had time to call customer service in the store to complain that’s how long I was in the store that I didn’t even get a hello. I was 1 of 2 customer in the store with only 2 employees. I can see why there are so many negative reviews!

I went in today to look at some couches. I had a favorites list I had made on their website. No one approached me when I walked in and I had to go up to the sales woman. She was beyond rude and unhelpful and essentially pointed to the couches and walked away. I was shocked, considering the fact that I was prepared to spend thousands of dollars on furniture for my new apartment. The whole experience totally turned me off from ever shopping at West Elm.

Great selection of modern furniture, lighting, and more. Bought my Emmerson reclaimed wood table here which by the way is Awesome. Love this store. Customer service could improve a bit. Other then that great store if you are looking to decorate your house.

Amazing service! great store the whole staff is super friendly, passionate, professional and talented. Genesis is amazing! She helped us furnish our entire 2BR apartment and was an incredible help. the whole staff that was in the store was so helpful as well.

I have decorated two hones from West Elm and found the products & service to be outstanding! Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Important to understand not all items are stocked, fortunately Ive had good luck so far. They offer a set up service in some cities, or TaskRabbit is another great resource for assembling furniture. Love the style...... that goes without saying!

I came into the store today with my mother to browse the store and look at some options for furnishing my home. When I entered the store the three ladies at the counter asked rudely if we needed help or if we were just there to browse. The question wasnt the problem it was the deliverance and snotty Im better than you look they have as they asked. More so even when my mother and I were looking at a few different things they were watching us like we were a side show and giving us dirty looks. I had found a few things Id love to buy but with the way I was treated I will look elsewhere.

I was very excited to come here and get my new apartment’s furniture but when I tried to ask a question the employee thought it was more important to gossip about another employee with a fellow colleague than to even acknowledge me. Very pretty selection though.

Customer satisfaction in this store is terrible as well as employee care. I went to pick up a cabinet and there was only one person to deliver it. I had to help the delivery person. The package weights 88 pounds. If they only have one person the store is expecting that the client helps.

After I bought at the store, I went online, two hours later, to check more items and found out my item was on sale. I returned and I was asked if I was sure because it was not showing on their register. It was adjusted when they checked their website. Again it happened the second time with another item. On the third time, I happened to have checked my home computer and my item was on sale. So I went to purchase it and again they had no idea it was on sale. The item was not showing as sale on their register. It was adjusted after website check. What happens went you dont check, or not aware of what going on. The registers are not showing sale price. You leave the store thinking prices are OK. They are not, so check with salespeople to make sure if items are on sale or not. Managers of the store will be more than happy to adjust to sale price.

I borrowed a truck, drove the 30 miles to buy some furniture. They had a sign on the door that said closed for inventory This was a Monday at 3:30. I had to get in the truck and drive the 30 miles home. What a waste of the day. Anyone in retail knows that you keep your posted hours for just this reason. Any legitimate store would do their inventory after hours or just do it while you are open. usually malls have big fines for not keeping your posted hours, also for this reason. i wasted my whole afternoon, Ill shop somewhere else.

Tried to purchase a chair ($699) was out of stock in store and they refused to order for pick up. the only option given was drive to miami/call from time to time to see if in stock again or have it delivered for $129.. CUSTOMER DIS SERVICE they should be a little more helpful for the price level of the product. NEVER GOING BACK.

Went in there today to purchase a couch and dining table after deciding to purchase there rather than RH to save $. WRONG When I walked in and looked around the gallery for at least 20min not one single person asked me if I needed help. Clearly their “sales” people are not paid on commission. Not a single other customer was in there. Now, I’m gladly going to spend double elsewhere.

We spent $50K for three of our companies projects. The promises of full installation for our models and clubhouses was absolutely misinterpreted. Delays and added cost to put together furniture - we would have given our business to other retailers that could have delivered. Delays for installation are several weeks long. Recommended that companies with large installations use local companies that can deliver much more quickly with better communications and full installation services.

Love the cool selection of furniture here thats hip but customizable. I heard its a long wait for installations or custom orders, but the selection is a very well made IKEA piece + pottery barn substantial.

Horrible customer service. Completely horrible. I should have looked up the reviews before buying there. It’s a shame I didn’t. I ordered a couch on June 15. I was told it would be delivered between July 20th and August 4th. I know it’s made to order so this made sense. First of all they send me at least 2 emails a day with special offers. Way way too much. Today is August 6th. I’ve heard nothing about the couch. I called and asked. Their answer was it should be to our hub by August the 13. At that time we will call to set up a delivery date. I’ve called the store manager. I’ve emailed the district manager. I’ve called their customer service. No one can seem to do anything about this. The most annoying part is zero customer contact. If I hadn’t called them today I’d have no clue when it was coming. If someone would have reached out to me to tell me the couch wouldn’t be there I would have bought one somewhere else. Guess that’s why they didn’t reach out to me. Terrible customer service. Do yourself a favor buy somewhere else.

DO NOT ORDER ONLINE! I ordered a planter as a gift and I decided to purchase it because it says that it will take 3 days (Estimated delivery nov 29th). Yesterday arrived the base and still until today DECEMBER 4TH havent receive the pot yet. This is VERY DISAPPOINTING

For West Elm branch, the storefront is too small, the supply is too small, ask the clerk for the price, and the clerk has to check for a long time. The management concept of the West Elm physical storefront is more like a sample display store, and the final order can be obtained through the Internet to get a good discount and the most options.
