This is the best company for storage. They are extremely helpful to give you best deal and find right storage size. I rented climate controlled for 9 months and just rented again for 3 months. Great security, cameras etc and my clothes came out just as I put them in. Great temp within unit. Dont look any further than this company; youll be extremely pleased.

We only had the unit for a couple of years and if the rent hadn’t gone up so much we would still be there. Extremely clean and We never had to wait for a flatbed cart. If you are looking for storage I highly recommend this place, the staff are extremely friendly as well.

I have rented many, many storage spaces over the years for personal and business related purposes. I will ONLY rent from Extra Space storage for 2 very important reasons. #1- the walls of each unit go all the way up to the ceiling. My bf had a unit at another big name place where there was only a wire mesh on the top 2 feet of the walls and across the top making it very easy to be broken into and it was. It was a tragic nightmare. That is less likely at ES storage. # 2 reason- you don’t have to leave your ID to get a rolling cart. So you can use a cart anytime and not worry about forgetting your license . My most recent experience was even better because it was all completely done online! Thank you!!

Anthony Carreno assisted with finding a correct storage for my needs. We had a storage selected and I needed to get to the facility for Anthony to draw up the paperwork, etc. I was running late driving to the facility and phoned Anthony to let him know. His words were” No worries, I’ll be waiting for you. Drive safe.” I arrived after closing hours and Anthony stayed over his shift to accommodate me. A pleasant gesture especially during my time when moving, etc.Another time Anthony was of great assistance was I attempted to enter the office building to purchase boxes and supplies. The door was locked so Anthony approached and opens the door and mentioned he was at lunch. He proceeded to still proved excellent customer service by allowing and helping me select pertinent supplies/boxes needed.High five to Anthony for definitely going above and beyond. If I were the owner of this company, I would definitely do what I could to keep his skills, work ethic, and professionalism around.

To say that the store manager Ariana is a dream to work with is truly an understatement. Ariana is incredibly knowledgeable of both all that extra space has to offer (which is quite a lot) and of the local Palm Desert area. She was quick to answer all of my questions and give me a tour. Extra space made it easy to narrow down my choices for storage, Ariana made it even easier! I have the utmost faith and respect for her and this location!

So far it been great! We are moving out to Palm Desert from LA. I leased online and was promptly texted the code to the main gate and my space #. I went out on a Sunday when the office was closed and had no issues at all. Space was clean and ceiling was insulated. We are much less concerned about the temperature in this non-temp-controlled unit. You will need to buy your own lock, which we got at the local Home Depot. So far it’s been a total breeze!

I would recommend Extra Space to my friends and would personally use them again. While the facility was secure and clean, Arianna made the experience extremely positive. She was very knowledgeable, timely, and responsive. Renting was easy. At the last minute, we realized we needed a larger unit for our car. Arianna quickly assisted and moved us to a larger unit. Not reccomended. They clearly feel like if you leave anything in storage for a while youre stuck there or arent paying attention to auto billing. They have hiked rates 20 dollars a year claiming market conditions yet they provide nothing else. My small space went from 95 to over 120 in three years.

The light outside our unit was broken the whole time we had the storage. When I call to cancel the storage I was told I was going to receive an email. When I didn’t I called back to check on the cancellation and the person on the phone was rude. She told me “ your didn’t get an email because you didn’t give us one.” So why the other person I was going to get one? Overall, safe storage but rude customer service
