This quaint little wine bar was a great stop for us while walking around south Palm Springs.The outdoor sidewalk patio seating had great views of the mountains to the west.(It’s best to go here later in the afternoon when the sun has dipped behind the mountains)The wine and beer menu was pretty great, including sparkling wines by the glass.The service was excellent. Our server allowed us to taste a few different wines to be sure that we picked the one that would be most enjoyable.You can order food from the adjacent restaurants (El Mirasol and Gabino’s) and they will deliver it to you to enjoy with your favorite wine.We bought a few bottles from their store to take home from their unique and international wine collection. Again, our server was a great help in choosing the best possible wines for us!They have chilled wines and beer by the bottle, also.We will definitely return here with friends sometime soon!

Excellent local bar. Impressive collection of small production wines both California and international. I particularly like the range of prices so you can shop for every day and special occasions. The staff, led by Coachella Valley native Christine is warm and knowledgeable. AND they deliver which is beyond awesome.This is THE place to shop for wine in the desert.Bonus that it is located right next to Kreem Ice Cream and Gabino’s Crepes in a beyond cool and supremely Insta-worthy location.

Super neat low key atmosphere. They give you a little key light to read the menu. Tried an ipa and a sparkling rose. Both were tasty but perhaps a little on the pricy side for what they were. But the feel of this place makes up for it so it was a nice stop for a quick drink.

One of our all-time faves, PS or anywhere. Dark and moody and always something new and delish to try. Cant wait to get back in there!! Until we can, picking up ample bottles to go!

If you’re in the area and into wine, or just need a good recommendation for poolside bottle, DoA is the place to go. If you’re local, or make the trip out to PS regularly, check out her 150 wine club, which is always surprising in the best possible way.

I’d stumbled in to this incredible little nook in Palm Springs a few years ago. What was once an adorable little wine bar is now the best wine shop in the valley. The owner, Christine, acts as my personal sommelier upon every visit. This place is one of the things that makes Palm Springs very special. Not to miss.

If you want to try new, adventurous wines in Palm Springs, this is the place to do it. Dimly lit, groovy tunes, and potato chips to pair with the Champagne. (Seriously, try it.) I always bring my business card because I know I’ll trade with at least two other young professionals. If you’re a local, join the monthly wine club — which is a steal for the sampling of vino from places like Jura, France and the Canary Islands. Plus, you can order Mexican food from the restaurant next door and get it delivered. 5 out of 5 stars because there’s no other place like it in Palm Springs.

Dead or Alive was my go-to wine bar in southern California. Now its my go-to wine shop! They have a great and constantly updated selection of delicious wine (and beer!). You can order ahead online for curbside pickup (or delivery!), or go in for some socially-distanced perusing.

Made an order online to pick up a few special bottles that this place carries. My order was ready way before I arrived. Would love to order from again or even hang out when life is better.

This dark and lustrous bar is a must go to spot. Music is fantastic. The drink selection is out of this world. The Bartender is great. If youre the type that loves quality and interesting conversations GO!!! If you like great libations but dont really like to talk they respect that too, but eavesdrop. Youll be pleasantly surprised. Either way do yourself a favor and just go period.

Supposedly has all-day happy hours on Monday. Id love to come back here and explore more of their drink menu. I would consider this one of my top 10 bars for craft cocktails.

It was surprisingly delightful in its own humble way. Definitely a down to earth, homely, casual, yet very comfortable atmosphere. Staff was glad to have me and were genuinely nice in character. With all of the greater good of intentions when I say it is a local hole in the wall bar ish place. Either way it was enjoyable in the fact that there was really no room for the arrogant or those people who are better than others. I felt like everyone was equally important. Thanks guys for a relaxing social experience. And the rumor of this place being closed is a falsehood. The hours however are late in the evening and is generally closed during the morning and mid afternoon. It opens at 5:00pm. So thats where that confusion may lie.

Hands down the best place to get an obscure, delicious glass of wine or amazing craft beer in the area. Nothing else like it in the desert. Whenever I stay in Palm Springs and go out to dinner, this is my go-to before or after spot.

Nice & dimly lit, cool staff, good wine, they just need to offer small plates or bites that pair with their wine or work with a nearby restaurant on developing some sort of a relationship where they can deliver food directly to the wine bar but in a special kind of presentation that keeps with their chosen aesthetic & general vibe at Dead or Alive.
