Took my car for engine light diagnostic. Mechanic/owner was thorough with his explanation and with answering my questions before starting the job. When he called me with the diagnosis he was also very professional with his explanation and price breakdown. When i picked up the car he opened the hood and showed me what he did, again with a thorough explanation. I am so happy that I found this place. Highly recommend.

This place is seriously the best. Eddie rules and helped create the best experience Ive had at an auto shop. I ended up spending a little bit more money than I anticipated, but that was only due to the fact that I was unaware of how much work my two vehicles actually needed. Eddie was very communicative, as he thoroughly explained what the recommended repairs were and why they were so important, and then showed me the old replaced units from my car after he finished up.On top of that, he was able to help me out by taking a look at my car (the 2nd vehicle) on short notice and got me fixed up and back on the road in no time.Both vehicles were repaired quickly after I was givenA fair quote. I live in North Hollywood, and Ill definitely be trying to make trips back up to Palmdale for future repairs. Do your car a favor and bring it here 🙌

I found AV Smog and Auto Repair on Google search. I was very pleased with how polite and professional their service was. I just came for a smog check and was in and out within a half hour. No complaints with me and I would say Yes to anyone that needs auto service or repairs.

We were driving a Limousine back to Chicago and happen to just drop into their shop with a miss-fire in the engine. They were able to diagnose the problem and changed out spark plugs, wires, distributor cap, and rotor, all within a couple of hours and for a very reasonable price. We were back on the road in 3 hours. I am overall very impressed with these guys and them being so nice and getting us in and out. Thanks for getting us home safe!

After being ripped off at a local reputable Family Owned auto repair center, I happened to be driving down Palmdale Blvd and spotted this small but very clean and tidy shop. My A/C was not blowing cold so I stopped in and asked to have it checked. It turned out that my A/C compressor was leaking so the system could not be charged. I was very disappointed as I had recently bought the car from Power Honda in Valencia Ca, supposedly after having undergone a 75point check. I guess the A/C system was point 76. The car came without a warranty so I had no choice but to get a new compressor fitted.Eddie and Will were fantastic. They got me a very good price for a new compressor, and Will drove me home and then picked me up when the car was ready. They are great guys. AV Smog has become my personal garage now. Eddie and Will are like friends and I trust their diagnosis and workmanship fully. I get my oil changed there regularly along with any other repairs I need. I will never trust anyone else again. Their shop is small but very clean and well kept and equipped. The waiting room is clean and comfortable too.These guys are THE BEST.

TGot two different price quotes one for $75 and one for $50 for a Smog check check when I first saw the place. I left found a. Coupon online believing it was the same place went back with the coupon for 30.00 and got charged 40. I realized that the place I wanted was literally next door farther back off of the street. The smog certain was printed but chard to read because he had NO ink Ib his printer. Be careful doing ng business here.
