Great customer service. I bought my bike from them about 8 years ago and haven’t rode it in about 3. Took it in for a front derailer adjustment new seat and pedals. Rich and his team made the adjustments replaced the seat and pedal all while I waited. Totally recommend this local bike bike shop.

Went to this business today..after my son was told to come by to get help with his handle bars. We waited 20 minutes while the guy was helping and BSing with someone. I asked if he had the tools to replace the handlebars on my sons bike.I didnt want to strip the bolt.. The guy was rude and with attitude told me we do not work on items the were not purchased from our store. I told him I would pay for his services..he again with attitude and sarcastically stating its like going to McDonalds with a burger King hamburger..at this point I told him he could have told me he couldnt help me 20 minutes earlier...with times like these you would think he would appreciate the business...good luck jackass.

This place is awesome. Running business by owner. I had bad experience from local franchise bike shop before. But this shop owner kept promise even phone call customer. My son really want this bike, hard to get this due to high demand. But finally I bought this from this store. Its worth 2 hours driving from my home. Thank you. Strongly recommend this shop!

I’ve been going here for many years to have my wheelchair tires changed out. I purchase my tires from an outside source but my inner tubes from Block. I always pay for service. Today I was turned away with the reasoning that they don’t service with internet purchases. So after 5 years all of a sudden they don’t do this anymore. So disappointed that this business no longer feels the need to be inclusive and offer their services to the disabled community and help keep mobility alive.

I recently received a tune up on my Scattante road bike at this shop. I was totally impressed with the results. Not only did it look good, but it rode like it was brand new (tight, light and fast). But not only was I impressed with the bike, even though extremely busy, I was impressed with the excellent customer service provided by Rich. He explained exactly was what going on with the bike and even pointed out what he felt was a slight defect from the manufacturer. In the event that I needed additional adjustments, he stated I can bring it in and he would make the adjustments right away. Their operation is extremely busy, but it’s worth the wait. I trust this shop (honesty and reliability in workmanship), unlike another shop I’ve utilized in this town.

OK, I dont normally bother to give a review, but man was I impressed! Even though they were quite busy, Rich took care of my repair on the spot. Ive been there twice in the last 2 weeks, and now this is the only bike shop that I will go to. Professionalism, expertise, customer service, all beyond 5 stars. Even product prices I found in Richs shop, were substantially less than what they were on Amazon. As I was waiting for my repair to be completed, I watched the interaction with other customers as they came and went. All 5+ star service. Its been a long time since Ive been this pleased with a store!

They have great service and they were very knowledgeable about bikes. Joseph and Rich are very helpfulp and fix your bike right then and there. They have a wide selection of bikes and bike parts. Everyone is super helpful and will help you pick out a part or a bike.

Ive been going to Block for over 8 years.If you want straight forward no BS work go to Block.

This is one of the nicest places I have done business with in ages. Rich was top notch. He is very nice, extremely knowledgeable about bikes and happy to educate others. We will continue to do business for along time. If you are interested in purchasing a real bike, Bloc Bikes is the place to go..

Dont bother. Service thats so busy theyll never get to you regardless of what they tell you. Put on the list means they delete you when theyre over crowded. I know there are few bike shops in the Antelope Valley which is why they are so busy, but I would highly recommend finding another shop.

Tried to make a deal with Richard on a bike. Guess he didn’t like the idea that I could get the same bike at another store for much cheaper. He would not deal or match the price. Better to shop somewhere else and get better service elsewhere. Buyers beware. Also their service department has kids that break rather than fix.

This is a one of a kind bike shop. I purchased a fitco bmx bike here. The owner was helping 4 people at the same time while working on someones bike. Greatly appreciate the bike at a deserved price, and your hard work for the riders.

I love the fast friendly service! Hadnt been here since last fall and was shocked they had moved on the other side of town! The drive is well worth the time and expert service!!

Once we got there they seem to be busy so we look around the store and waited to be assisted.Once assisted he took my sons bike and immediately starting working on it and afterwards gave us a few suggestions on how to upkeep the bike. I also bought some accessories for the bike which they put on for us.Overall good experience.

If you are African American they treat you, very stand offish. Ill spend my money else were.

Called looking for a rim for my sons bike and they were extremely rude over the phone. May only be 1 of the only bike shops in the av but Ill take my business somewhere else. And they wonder why small shops go out of business

I love coming to this place everytime my wheelchair has a flat. Very helpful great customer service and decently price.

Brought my gt agressor in today do get my rear derailleur adjusted after I installed it and couldnt figure out the issue. Within 15min I was a very satisfied customer with a perfect working bike.

Called sent emails trying to get a bike and no call back or reply via email. Poor business!

Great place! I come in here about 2 or 3 times a month. They have outstanding mechanics, but unfortunately, the wait line to repair your bike is about a week. Other than that, this is the best shop in the AV!

I visited this bike shop probably a month ago and have been debating a review, however this was my experience and people should be aware.My overall experience was good, with the staff being helpful and polite. I originally brought my bike in for a tune up and to inspect a front brake issue. They identified a warranty issue with the brake handles and had them replaced, which I really appreciated and considered going the extra mile.My issue was how I was almost charged over $100 more than I was expecting (in addition to the tune up). I was originally told the front brake pads would be replaced for ~$30, but when I went to pick up the bike, I was charged another $30 for the rear pads (which honestly was needed and okay, but still...) and $100 for a chain replacement. The chain fix was never authorized, and this definitely left me wary of future visits. For anyone doing repairs, I highly suggest getting written agreements of what will be worked on so this can be avoided, especially with those who don’t have in depth knowledge of bikes.After riding a couple times since the tune up, I am also disappointed in how the bike was reassembled, as the chain continues to slip off in higher gears (not a hard fix but not a great situation when riding).I’ll end this with I usually understand things happen, but either way people should be well aware what they are paying for and that communication is there.

Bike shops are wonderful, and this one is top-notch. Finally a serious bike shop in the AV. These guys have a lot of heart. They love what they do and they care about each person who walks through the door. When I first visited I was about to go on a 6-week bicycle tour and they gave me tons of experienced advice. I went back a few months later and they hooked me up with all the bits and pieces I needed to fix up a bike for my sister. They have the perfect range of parts and bikes ranging from the cheapest and most affordable, to quality medium price, to top quality. They even have used bikes and parts! Its not very common that a bike shop like this also does so much with used stuff. Very knowledgeable repair guys too. Go out and support these folks, because the AV needs them!

Great customer service. Came for parts. Reasonable prices. Definately my one stop shop.I came into the shop on Feb 1st, 2019 to have my sons rear BMX wheel aligned because it was severely bent. I thought I had to replace the entire rim. The bike tech said it was fixable. I came back the same day to pick it up and my rim was straight as a pencil ! I was amazed at their great work. The low cost was great too. I also came in for wheel bearings and they also hooked me up . Thank you guys for putting me back on the road. Great customer service too. Thank you Block shop!!Im an old school bike rider, very old school, and havent been in the loop on the latest bike equipment but, when I went in to the Block Shop, they took their time with me and showed me a ton of different bikes, explained the new technology, and let me come to my own conclusion without shoving one down my throat. I chose a middle to higher end one. With a couple of small modifications (softer seat and raised bars), my bike is awesome and I enjoy riding it as often as I can!!Thanks Jake, you guys Rock!!

Some times they are great, other times they are not so great...maybe their bipolar, i dont know...everything is twice as much compared to Amazon, eBay...only use them for last resort items. My second experience with their bipolar behavior motivated me to learn bike repair, maintenance. That was 4 years ago and about $700 in professional tools later. What they used to charge $100 for, I can do myself for a fraction of the cost. I miss Gils bike shop, that was a place where the employees had good mental health...The owner actually shamed a customer here in the Google reviews because they did not want to pay the outrageous prices and decided to buy online. That is a very good example of what Im talking about when it comes to the ridiculous customer service you experienced at this so-called bike shop. It makes me miss Gill even more!

Went in last night just to look around at the new location. (Its been that long since Ive bought bike stuff.) Always had OK experiences at the previous store. This time was GREAT! Scott helped me take a peak at some helmets and reccomended some awesome tires for a killer price. I went home and put them on and took them for a spin in the dirt. HUGE improvement over what I was riding on given the soft, loose terrain. Jake at the front counter was good too! Was about to check out when my wife grabbed 3 singles of the hydration packs. Jake mentioned he preferred the 4th flavor. How can I not buy the fourth when I already have three? There was a third guy in the store also, but was busy with a customer. Seemed very personable as well. Ill be back, and much more often after this visit. Keep it up!!!

Had a tire that needed to be replaced they fixed it right away and seemed to have charged a fair price for doing so but i have only been here 1 time

The man with the huge mohawk has a real problem with customer service but maybe he was having a bad day. My overall complaint is that I have to go in here or try to call if they decide to answer to return product. Its actually a weekly routine Ive been doing. Which is dissapoiting. There are cheaper way to get bike part and better quality. Amazon is your answer.

Went in to have a rear wheel trued and they told me I had to pay before they would do any work because people leave their bikes after the bikes been fixed. What kind of B.S. is this? Never heard of this crap. Needless to say I wont ever go back this place!
