Walked in looking for men’s cologne and a questions about translucent powder, the lady started asking personal health and religions questions, saying it was probably meant for me to talk to her?? and basically that I have a poor diet and lacked exercise. Some one should discuss her lack of professionalism and the self righteousness she’s exhibiting, she’s a retail associate not a Doctor.

This place is nice sometimes there are things on sale that are not overpriced like everything else they have. Be prepared to come in here and not find anything you want because its all sold out. 👀

DO NOT SHOP HERE !!!I used to reside in the San Fernando Valley area and would usually stop by 3 different locations within the Area it was always such a pleasure and I would take my trips after work to enjoy some me time.However having to shop at this particular location in Palmdale makes me anxious to the point of having a panic attack today. These ladies are obnoxious and only once in my several stops at this ulta have I had a good experience, with someone who was willing to help me. I was given a returned item when I asked for something they had in the back of the store and I had to ask for an exchange to what the representative responded with a sassy and bothered demeanor. I do not recommend this place If what youre looking for is to enjoy some time and ease off for the day. These people made me feel like the one scene from Selenas movie at the mall where she tries the red dress on 😂. What a shame...

Love the place. That there are top rated brands and great value ones, and you can find anything you need for the face and more there. Its pretty organized in general and the workers are kind and helped guide me to what I needed to find.

Julie is absolutely amazing!! Called at 12:15pm asking if they had any same day appointments for me and my friend and she so generously said she could take us as early as 12:45pm. She did an amazing job cutting my hair I’m in love with it. Not only that she also is super gentle when washing your hair it feels amazing! I will be back I’ve found my new hair stylist and it’s Julie!

Horrible! The worst customer service. Yellina the cashier could only tell me what she could not do for me and only stood there and argued with me about what was said over a phone call I made to this store earlier in the day. When I asked what she COULD do to help me she said I cant do anything when I asked for her manager, the manager never walked to the front to meet with me. The only reason she walked to the front was to walk out another employee. She sent Jessica who was clueless about my situation. When I asked her where the manager was she asked me of I wanted a manager. I thought I had requested to speak to one to begin with. Angela the manager in charge was hiding in the back and never showed her face to ask me what she could help me with. Instead she let Jessica deal with it. Now I know why Yellina was not helpful at all, because her manager needs customer service training herself. Cant train your staff when youre clueless yourself.

Every time I come in here I get anxious whether I’m by myself or with my mom. Me and her have been followed multiple times. I noticed they watch me intently and always ask me a lot of questions while I’m trying to peacefully look around. And I don’t see them do this with White or Hispanic customers. I also noticed they have no African American employees. ( atleast when I go in there ). I’ve been in here enough times to know. I’ve complained to the manager and corporate and they haven’t done anything about it. They would always say they would reach back to me but never did. I stop shopping there, & then I start again bc their the only beauty store in Lancaster and Palmdale with a variety of products. But If this continues to persist I will not only take matters into my own hands but I will spend my money where I’m appreciated and respected & make sure others of my race do the same.

My go to girl was all booked 💔 so I had somebody new and I loved him, he did an amazing job we had great convo and we now follow each other on Tiktok his name is Angel and I definitely reccomend him.He put me on to the new POWMADE by Benefit, and it is a winner!!

When I stopped in the Ulta Beauty store, it was to use the rest of the gift card my amazing daughter Shannon gave me for Mothers Day last year. Ulta is also amazing for leaving their gift cards open with NO EXPIRATION!I would have had to spend HOURS there(their choices are ENDLESS, except for the fact I knew what I wanted, a bottle of Mon Paris perfume, by Yves Saint Laurent.Thank you for being such a fantastic beauty store!

I have made appointment with Shauna at Palmdale location twice now and made appointments for my girl’s and they look great!! She is very sweet and gave eyebrow ideas for makeup. There Dad says, to them, “ wow your eyes are poppin.” Lol. Thank you Shauna

This store is a buffet of different lines of cosmetic companies. I purchased a gel black eyeliner and the most delicious smelling lemon hand wash which was located in the bathroom. It smelled so good I had to go buy a bottle. Customer service was great and it was quick in and out.

The ONLY thing that I didnt like about this store was the HORRIBLY LOOOOONG LINES...AND IT HAPPENS EVERY TIME I GO TO THIS LOCATION. Besides that, the employees are all very nice, and helpful if u ask them for help, however, sometimes they do sort of seem to be hiding from us customers, and unless u ask them for help, then they will not offer any help. But thats really a lot of places now a days. Especially at places like Walmart. Overall I do enjoy going to Ulta, except for the long lines, and that I have to look for someone to help me, because they wont come asking u if u need help.

This place is trashed. There is so many starbucks/chick fil a cups and empty make up boxes, makes you wonder what their losses add up to. They seem to have plenty of people, send them up and down the isle to clean the place up. Presentation goes a long way.

Staff is unhelpful management is even worse.. further more they want you to park in a fire zone for curbside pickup.. I absolutely do not recommend this branch.. Ontario mills is wayyyy better and worth the drive...order online if you must use ulta

Its like any other Ulta. People are cool. Shame they never seems to have what Im looking for. Like they dont have a diverse offer of products from La Roche Posey. ( France) and they dont seem to have any other international brand like Vichy or Shiseido. They might have perfumes, though.

This place is DANGEROUS in a good way, as in prepare to empty your bank account. Theres literally everything here that youve ever wanted in your entire life, and even stuff you didnt know that you wanted. The staff was very helpful navigating me around the huge amount of store and products.

Good variety of cosmetics to choose from. Stock isnt always on game though and too many things are always open and used. Not their fault. Love the stuff i got, and it was on sale!

Great place for beauty supplies. Great prices. They even have hair cuts going on in shop. Only disappointment was there was no social distance markers at the check out line. People bunched up and a few people with masks hanging off their face. But at least they have signs up.

They have a great selection of cosmetics, skin and hair care. Took my granddaughter to get her hair done. During the pandemic, they make sure to have only one hair stylist and client in the salon, at a time.

Ulta has a pretty extensive variety of brands and beauty products that have price ranges broad enough to suit most budgets. They have a lot of freebies and beauty events, which gives the store more of an upscale beauty experience instead of just a place to buy beauty products. They carry makeup and skincare products, haircare tools and products, beauty tools, fragrances for men and women, body care products and a salon.I have shopped at Ulta several times. I recommend taking your time and inspecting your items carefully before buying, though. Seems that some customers sample more than just the designated testers, so you are highly likely to find a lot of opened, previously used products.The staff are hit and miss with customer service (mostly hits). Most of the brand reps are amazingly personable, even if you dont try their products. They are pleasant and helpful, even if you need help with items they dont represent. Others seem almost personally offended if you say no thanks to what theyre offering. If that bothers you, be prepared, but dont let it ruin your experience. Its easy to find a helpful person when you need one!All of that said, I like the store and the staff overall. I would give Ulta 4 stars if it was easier to find items on the shelf that havent been opened or used.

Its ok there. Some of the girls are sweet, while others walk around and look at you weird. Also very displeased with the curly headed dark haired chick that doesnt know how to wear her mask right. Every time I go, her nose is all the way out. She does know that she is endangering herself and others like that? And also not setting a good example for customers and staff. Put your mask on RIGHT!

Worst ULTA Ive ever been to, especially now during covid. Theres never been enough employees working the floor, much less the registers. The line to pay is always very long. The employees are not pleasant nor helpful, they dont look happy to be there. Right now, during covid, the line to get in is ridiculous. Each time I visit this place, the employees monitoring the line walk away each time to tend to another duty (probably due to short staffing) or turn away to chat and then lose count on guest capacity. Today, I watched about 6 guests exit only for the employee monitoring the line to return to the entrance to only allow 2 guests in. Theres NO shade coverings provided outside, so youre standing in the burning sun (sun sets in front of the store) in an unnecessarily long line, only to enter and then wait in the unnecessarily long check out line. Ive always had high hopes for this location, especially since Sephora in the AV Mall is no better but this ULTA needs so much improvement. I shop here so much because they have everything I need but Ive finally had enough and made it a point to share my thoughts. All I can say is, wait til Carrie Dill gets word of this.

What we came for wasnt there, they said they ran out of my earned bday gift and gave me a small sample of something instead, i was told my earned points expire 10 days from now, after i had paid, so can only recoup if i purchase something else right away. Just a disappointing visit when i waited so long to come.. And it was my bday and part of what i used as a treat for myself! The only reason i gave one star was the girl that helped us find what we had come for, was helpful, even though it wasnt there.

Fantastic salon! The woman who cut my hair really took her time to give me exactly what I wanted. The woman across from me getting a haircut also looked like her stylist was doing a great job. Nice selection of makeup, very fun to browse. My only issues were the mile long line and that they dont carry many of the cheaper brands that most people can afford.

The store overall is always a pleasant visit. However, the line was quite ling and only 2 cashiers. The wait to pay was nearly 10 minutes. Hopefully, with the holidays approaching, more of the cash registers will be active. Plus, this location does not carry MAC.

Have had my hair cut at the Ulta Salon twice now and dont think Ill be going back sadly. Im not sure but it seems like most of the stylists are just starting out and do not have much experience. The first time I got my haircut there, it was supposed to look layered and blended in, instead looked like someone added steps going up in the back of my head. Also, one side was longer than the other in the front. It was kind of a mess and had to wait to let it grow out to get it cut again. So I thought Id give Ulta another chance after my hair grew out a little more and went in again. I asked to get a short cut and even all around just to get those layers out of my hair. The short cut took the layers out but have some pieces that were longer than the other, depending on how I part my hair. Im currently waiting for my hair to grow again to get this fixed elsewhere. Also, I was kind of upset because they charged me an extra $20 to get my hair shampooed. The haircut price includes the wash and blow dry so I thought that was weird. Come to find out I was charged because it was a deep conditioning treatment that I got. I had told her to use the normal shampoo instead when she had asked me if I wanted a deep treatment, so why she still used the $20 one, I dont know. I did ask her about the $20 charge after she gave me my invoice too and she knew I wasnt happy about it. I did speak to the manager there about this and explained what happened and she was nice enough to refund me the $20 so I did appreciate that. The last stylist at Ulta to cut my hair also told me that depending on how much experience they have thats what the haircut pricing is based on. So the last one wanted to charge me $45 I think it was and I told her the last stylist charged me $34 and she said she would honor it just this time. So based on my experiences there, Id rather go back to Park Ave salon where you are satisfied with your $40 haircut and where stylists know what they are doing. I wanted to try somewhere new but nope, not worth it.

I came here once in my life and it made me realize how every other store is inferior to this one. When they say they focus on beauty they arnt lying. The interior is simplistic and clean with its simple and easy to find isles allows customers to come in and out of the store being satisfied for what they are looking

Love, love, love! Knowledgeable employees, very helpful, clean. Stylists are great. Very competitive pricing in salon and retail products. The only negative is extremely long wait at checkout, always! Checkout line is poorly designed. No structured area for customers to stand while waiting their turn.

This is the only place I go to have my eyebrows waxed, and of course, do some shopping when Im done. Love, love, love this Ulta. Everyone is so nice and helpful. Shauna does my Benefit waxing. Sweetest girl ever! Ask for Shauna, you wont be disappointed!!

Love Ulta! The staff is friendly and helpful, the stock is almost overwhelming, they have great selections, and the prices are fair! Join their rewards system too, you earn free stuff. Also, dont be shy about asking for samples if you arent sure of a product. Ulta has a great return policy too.

Great customer service. The ladies are always very helpful. The floor manager Chris is very accommodating, and knowledgeable on many of the products. Also a Great place to go get your eyebrows done. Kim is amazing at what she does. Call ahead she is always booked.

They are not always stocked with certain brands and sometimes the employees have been either overwhelmingly in your face or are ignoring and rude. I dont go in as much as Id like because it can be awkward but I really do like ulta as a store regardless.

I am a little puzzled. I made an order for my 2 teenage daughters and myself and the next day I was blocked and was sent an email telling me that They cannot fill my order and that was all they said and now I cant even get on the website. What gives?

Palmdale Ulta has a great selection of products, but their checkout sucks, BIG time. Ive attempted 5 times to purchase one item, but the long checkout was a nightmare. Each time I go, there is only one, occasionally 2 employees checking out.I do not recommend you visit, unless you have 30-40 minutes to wait in line.

That was like what a kid feels like in a candy store. I wanted EVERYTHING!! The store was beautiful! The employees were amazing! I bought some Morphy shadows, I bought the most beautiful shadows, they were all sparkle, its called Solar Flare by bh cosmetics. They have my brow liner that I could no longer get at the shop that I used to get it from. Its quite a bit more $ than it was at the other place. But you do what you gotta do!!! 10 stars if I could!! But 5 is all that I can give out.

Quite like this place, they have so many items that we would used to have to order on the TV or online and they have it in store ready to go. The selection of perfumes they have and colognes to pick from as well with the testers awesome. If you have an Ulta Rewards Card credit card you can even save more money then the deals they have day to day.

I went there today to return some items. The girl helping me was very rude. Her name is Melanie. From the start she asked for the next number then for my phone number she gave me such a bad attitude. Then as I’m getting my items out the bag she snatched one of them right out of my hand very aggressively. She also made no eye contact with me. It was horrible!!!

Someone was stealing when I walked in so natrually everyone was too busy to help me find what I need and the few that did werent even paying attention. Good store but probably go to another one when you need help.

Lately it seems their customer service is non existent. I buy my Philosophy foundation here and it has been a waiting game to purchase it because of out-of-stocks. The last time I purchased a lighter color out of desperation. Unfortunately I had to return it since I have a darker complexion. The lady at the counter (older Caucasian, blonde woman) gave me such an uncomfortable experience to try and exchange the shade I needed. She inspected the product even though it was clearly full, she told me she didnt usually take product more than 25% used. It was rather embarrassing to be berated in that manner. Honestly after exchanging my correct shade I have not shopped here. Some companies need to remember that customer retention is key to long term success.

I was purchasing an item and I only. How do I $100 bill and the person that was helping me the cashier was unhappy with that and gave me the ugly face she said it was my fault for draining that cashier register for the changes that I needed absolutely awful service I’m a customer and they dare treat me like that

If you prefers to be treated like you dont matter, then this is the place for you! If I could give them negative stars then I would. First, there is no clear indication of the start of the line. No sign, no nothing. You can spend a while trying to check out with no one telling you, employees of course, where the line is. (Even though the same employee had passed you three times without a word )Then, they will tell you: sorry thats not sure the line starts and make you wait until the end. First time shopping there, and it will be the last.

They carry mans products as well. A pleasant surprise.

There is always a line going down nearly the back of the store and one or two disgruntled employees working the front. I hate my shopping experience here every time I go I think why did I come here. I will gladly go to Sephora and see happy uplifting people as opposed to going to this Sad Sack of a place. You guys need to get it together and get more help there its just ridiculous.

This visit has been the worst experience Ive EVER had here. There were two managers on the back counters looking through makeup trying to figure out what employee will get what lipstick, at one point the manager was showing both of the cashiers lipsticks. There were two cashiers while the third had switched with the another person. There is a line to the end of the isles horizontal to the counters. Not once, did a manager, nor one of the girls at the register acknowledge any of the customers in line. Acknowledging your customers goes a long way! I would understand if it was just the transition that made everything 10x slower, but the managers on duty need to get their priorities straight and realize that their customers should come first! Never again.

Horrible! This is NOT the first time that I have gone there a few minutes before closing time and they are locked up tighter than a drum with no staff inside. I will spend my perfume bucks somewhere where they are honest in their hours. Ripping your employer off in time and no interest in a last minute sale can have horrible effects on a chain. Id never keep them past closing time. They just dont honor their posted closing time!

Visited at 8P.M. this is the first ulta Ive been to that has been in such a mess. Every counter was dirty and in disarray. I counted four employees, three behind the counter only one working. Five people waiting on line to pay.I needed help at the Lancome counter and couldnt find anyone to help. Very sad Ulta Beauty store.

Ulta is getting better about carrying cruelty free items. I saved a bunch of money with coupons today too. The staff is friendly at this Ulta.

3 starts because they were really low stocked...there were a few things I wanted to get and they didn’t have them but not only the things I wanted there were a lot of items they were not in stock and I went early in the morning and it wasn’t busy at all so I mean I don’t see why they shouldn’t be stocked up. Costumer service is good though...they came up to me and asked me if I needed help and what I was looking for and asked how my morning was going.

Just went in looking for a new skin care regiment and prepared to pay whatever it took. Wasnt acknowledged by a single person. Spent half an hour browsing... Staff didnt even come close to approaching me. No questions answered, no products bought.

I have gotten my brows done with Rebecca and with Amarosa and they both have done a fantastic job. And the entire staff are always friendly and very helpful.
