Sat in the drive thru for about 15 minutes before we ordered. We got 2 blizzards and one was completely melted minus a small about that wasn’t. Staff was playing and joking around, I understand that you gotta have fun at work but we could hear their non work conversations outside in the drive thru.

Ordered 2 blizzards, they did not turn either blizzard upside down. Not sure if this franchise participates in this - but I was super disappointed. I told my wife that I used to work at DQ in my teens and that employees weresupposed to do this trick. Well, that backfired...

We had soft serve ice cream with the chocolate shell to keep it from dripping it was perfect and the staff was efficient and quickly waited on us I definitely would recommend it I actually stop every time we pass it even to get a small one cone

Still sitting in drive through line - been here for 20 minutes, car ahead ready to order sitting there for 5 minutes now and still no one has taken their order. Ridiculous!

This place was awful. We sat in line for an hour. We had nothing else better to do so we just sat there to see how long it would actually take. We had three milkshakes and one cookie and brownie thing. We had to Smalls and one large. The two smalls was one mint and one chocolate milkshake. The large was a chocolate milkshake. After waiting in line for over an hour they actually messed up the milkshakes. I dont know if it was short staff or if it was just a bad day but its just Dairy Queen. This was beyond crazy for Dairy Queen. Also after we had to wait an hour in line when we got to the window the employee was like what did you order. Then he was so rude he said what do you want. That was very confusing lol.

I have been to this DQ 2 times. The first time I waited in the drive thru for 45 minutes. Almost comical. I stayed in line just to see how long I’d be there. I thought it was just a one off situation because of lack of employees or something.The second time I went I sat in the drive thru line for a ridiculously long time AGAIN. You should not be sitting in a drive thru for ice cream this long. Get more employees or find some that can do their job in a timely fashion.

Creamy DQ goodness. Long wait times though because it is gas station, subway, too.

These past 2 time i went there the ice cream melting within 5 minutes of my 10 minute ride home. the first time it happened i thought oh maybe it was just too warm in my car, then this time i saw how melted the ice cream was when i got it. if this is how ice cream is now being served here im done.

Normally Id give this place a 4 to 5 star review. However, TODAY is ridiculous. 45 minutes with 1 car ahead of us. I asked why so slow today and response was we arent a fast food place, we are a fan food place.At 45 minutes to get 1 smoothie with 1 car in front of us, not going to be a fan much longer.

Our ice cream tastes great as always but customer service could have been better. One of the girls was on her phone and not helping her male co worker make any of the orders. She took longer than 5 min to even take our order when we got up to the drive thru speaker. They didnt flip any of the blizzards. I did the survey and let them know. We are suppose to get it for free if they dont do it.

I only ever get the ice cream but Ive been told the food is good and fresh.

Slowest fast food Ive ever seen. Took them 45 minutes to move 4 people through the drive through.

If you want to wait in the drive through for 30 minutes before even ordering...then this is the place for you. When I finally made it up to the window (after over a 30 minute wait) the guy who took our order asked for it again. I guess he never put it in the system. We ordered Chocolate Extreme Blizzards...not too difficult of an order. What we were given was vanilla ice cream with just a small amount of chocolate bits in it. So not only are they slow, but can’t even make their blizzards correctly. Will never come back.

Service was fine. Dont get the chili dog. It sits on a grill and is not cooked to order. Drive thru was very very very slow. (15 minutes)

Great ice cream

After waiting 30 minutes for service and 30 minutes for food. We all fell sick, kids throwing up and diarrhea. Adults have upset stomach and diarrhea. Health department definitely needs to be involved!!! 🤢🤮🥴 Palmetto location

Extremely slow service. The owner does not have enough help! The ice cream is not served at the correct temperature. Before you get to your vehicle it is all melted. The DQ franchise showed be removed from this owner.

We came pretty late at night and I could see that they were understaffed. They took a bit of time, but then again they had only two people working so Im not mad about that. But I did realize that my Choco extreme blizzard was made with vanilla ice cream rathed than chocolate. The DQ near my home makes it with chocolate ice cream. Im unsure if its different but other than that, everything was fine. We did come through the drive-thru so Im unsure what its like inside.

The pumpkin pie blizzard was of the bomb that topped off Labor Day Weekend ♥️.

Been in area 13 years..this store has seen lots of changes..the ONLY consistent..is the ice cream is too soft..or..the machines are down..

We live near by and come for ice cream once a month. There is always a long wait in the drive thru so we waited until 9:40pm to come with not a long wait as they close at 10pm. Well the drive thru was already closed 20minutes till! My husband had to pull in and go inside to make them do our blizzards as they were cleaning to go home. Get it together or else dont be open.

My favorite !! They dont have burgers here like the website says but the rest is good & customer service has been good.

Great spot to stop and get a treat.

After reading quite a few negative reviews, my husband and I were a little apprehensive to visit but figured we would give it a shot. We definitely were happy with our visit !! Not only was the staff extremely friendly, they offered our dogs “pup cups” which they thoroughly enjoyed! It is located in a gas station, but they have a really nice gated dog park with benches and plenty of lighting. Definitely will go back again!

Literally sitting in the drive through right now, waiting on a mini m&m blizzard and a small strawberry sundae. We have been waiting for 20 minutes now. This place is always backed up but its just getting ridiculous at this point. The people inside were laughing and joking with the car in front of us for a good 15 min.

Ordered a Peanut Buster Parfait and a Banana Split. There was barely any chocolate or strawberry on the Banana Split... wont be back. Staff was goofing around and talking about customers.

I can only assume you dont really care about your business so I wont either.Not worth the effort. Took almost 30 minutes in the drive through. 5 minutes waiting to order. 20 minutes waiting for the 3 cars in front of us to be served. 5 minutes after we paid. No upside down blizzard- which would have been a disaster. I finally got our icecream it was melted, as if they made it when we ordered and it sat on the counter for the next 25 minutes while we waited.

Gas station fast food chains always disappoint me, but this trip was great!! The staff was very friendly and I was blown away when getting my summer berry cheesecake blizzard and it had real, whole, unfrozen berries in it when typically theyre mush or all chopped up. In addition, they did the blizzard test which no other Dq has ever done. Good food, great staff! A+

Worse Dairy queen of all times the so called blizzard is very runny and ice cream melted in 2 min eating it it melted like milk

Order fish sandwich and smoothie and cheesecake blizzard fish sandwich over cooked, order come out separate took 3to5 mins for each item blizzard only had 3 chucks of cheesecake in it but smoothie strawberry and banana was excellent. Just never went to a restaurant and have my things separated for time wise before

Service is terrible I asked for ice cream in a dish, was told had to buy a sundae to get ice cream in a dish, will never go there again.

I understand why this place has the reviews it does. Never spent more time waiting for fast food. It was like waiting at a restaurant. My friend ordered Subway and couldve multiple times. Someone elses large order was done before mine. 20 mins later I finally got my money back.

This is potentially the only place in the entire Eastern United States that has the ability to make ordering ice cream a depressing affair. Their employees look like corpses of their former selves, and their attitudes are far worse. I live less than a mile away from this location and still refuse to go there. I have given this place 3 chances. On the last one I pulled through the drive through and was told to wait, someone will be with you shortly. I left after 10 minutes because a heroin addict knocked on my window for money and I decided a subpar shake was not worth it. This place sucks, but its kinda fun in a dive bar kind of way. Except instead of bikers, you just get human filth.

Smiling staff provided great service which is good considering their way above average fast food prices the only thing that I thought was weird is that they dont sell burgers of any kind... Kinda takes the Grill out of Grill & Chill...

I love to get a No Sugar added Dilly bar for dessert and the people are very friendly.

Just dont. We have been here a few times and every time we wait FOREVER for our food and I could deal with that if the food was at least good but its not and it never has been. Last time we walked in there were flys everywhere so we turned around and walked right out. Its just not clean and that is gross. Sorry DQ.

One of the only places I know of that you can buy 5 gallons or more of gas at pump, then take your receipt on through the dq drive in to redeem a freecone. Located at a shell gas station. Uppys is the name and some of finest gas places in all of bradenton.

So, I love DQ but the Service at Uppy’s DQ drive thru is horrible. The wait is outrageous all the darn time. I’ve even waited 10+ minutes just to get to the order intercom only to be told they’re out of chicken or fries. I’d say 4 out if 10 times they’ve been out of something. It’s pretty annoying to have to wait just to be told that. I’ve never seen a fast food place who’s priority isn’t to clear the drive thru fast. If there are 2 cars in front of you ordering food be prepared to wait at least 10-15 minutes between the intercom and the pick up window.

Best ice cream ever!

Very slow service and unclean. Only one person wore gloves after taking orders and handling money. Blizzard machine was extremely filthy and not cleaned between uses. Imagine sugars all over the place, can we say cockroach and bug attractor? Small space so set up is very crowded and inefficient, contributing to the slow service. However it also meant a lot of rummaging through boxes looking for toppings and waffle bowls (while touching your food).

Prompt counter service and good ice cream. Seems a little strange to go into a gas station for ice cream but all was well!

They only had chicken tenders but the girls were really nice and the ice cream was good.

I got none of the famous gravey no napkins. help acted like I was putting them out for my order. Very bad customer service.a. Went through drive through horrible service they forgot to give us our ice cream sundaes that came with meals couldnt turn back around. She also forgot to give us straws for drinks and waited so long for food never coming back

What kind of idiot wears iPod head phones when he is working drive through. We ordered a banana split and a heath blizzard and he made a banana split blizzard???? Then he overcharged us for our order. What a complete moran.... will go to Sonic from now on!!!!

Ice cream is still the best but its located within a gas station so there isnt much room to park let alone sit down and eat.

Ordered two milkshakes, one blizzard and one smoothie and they were all live a glass of water. Grandson stated they had false advertising and the employee told him to hush. We will never go there again and they are less than a mile from my home.
