I love the chocolates from here. For reference you get 6 chocolates for $20. However they are confectionary and they have an amazing assortment of chocolates such as coffee caramel. They also did a great job of explaining the various options and also have cute packaging if you want to gift a box to someone.

Every time I go here the service is incredible. They are always patient and communicative. The shop pays special attention to melting and quality. Ive been to over a dozen chocolate shops in the area and this one is by far the most impressive. The hot chocolate is divine and nothing can match its quality. I especially like how they offer non dairy options for my loved ones. Over the phone they are just as patient and thoroughly communicative as in store. This shop is a prime example of excellent quality and service.

Visited with husband to pick up some nice chocolate as a treat. Nice is probably an understatement, but at over $3 a piece they better darn well be nice! Exorbitant pricing, but maybe youll think its worth it? I personally have come to love their dark chocolate the most, which says something about their quality and craft.Husband did a chocolate-making class through work and liked it. He got to bring home free samples. The staff were friendly, but it was weird when they insisted we couldnt buy the dark cocoa powder piece (named Xxx) because it wouldnt last and isnt suitable for a box. Isnt it weird that its for sale then? What about if we wanted to eat it that night?? They were weirdly insistent. There are a few seats inside. They also serve alcohol. A cute place for a date!

I have always loved the hot cocoa here, the best in town. Must try! I love that they have the chocolate available in various concentrations with 3 choices of milk - whole, almond and hazelnut. I consider myself a dark chocolate fan and my go-to option is a hot chocolate between 58 and 65% with whole milk. Note: 2 free chocolate bonbons for first timers! How great is that! Do you also wanna hear a hack? If you cant finish your chocolate drink, just stick it in the refrigerator for some time and you have got yourself some delicious chocolate mousse! Youre welcome! ;)

This is a boutique chocolate and comfort food spot in downtown Palo Alto. You get a range of artisanal solid and hot chocolates. The environment is also unique and colorful. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable about chocolate. Enjoy a cup of hot tea and a few pieces of exotic chocolates on an afternoon or as dessert after dinner.

I attended a chocolate making workshop at Timothy Adams Chocolates. Everyone was very friendly, and we very quickly got to the enjoyably messy practice of making chocolates. It also included a little tour of different types of chocolate, from 100% straight chocolate, through a total of 8 different levels ending with a delicious white chocolate. The, I believe it was caramelized or something similar, white chocolate. Timothy was high energy, and extremely nice. As they rotated smaller groups through the crafting, the rest of us had a delicious buffet including small sandwiches, a cheese platter, and well seasoned veggies. Did I mention there was also wine? If those sound good to you, give it a try. You wont regret it.

I just moved to Palo Alto for work and was looking for a place with a good hot cocoa! Well, I finally found it! Its not only super cute for pictures, it also has great customer service/very welcoming! I was walking with my pup and my husband when we decided to stop by, I stayed outside in the seated area and the staff invited me in with my pup! Super welcoming not to mention their chocolate is what a hot chocolate should taste like! They also have plenty of variety in which types of chocolates you can eat and which types of chocolates can be used in your hot chocolate. You have nothing to loose in this place! Remarkably good chocolates. Innovative confections of multiple complementary flavors that can be tasted distinctly in each bite. The construction of each variant is well designed and executed, with a firm shell protecting the ganache. These pieces can be savored in smaller bites, without the remainder disintegrating, or crumbling. No gooey, gross rush of jellied liquor, either. Ive never tasted any chocolates like these, and the delicious novelty is well worth the premium price.

I was treated impatiently and rudely today when I attempted to purchase three small boxes of truffles for gifts. I had always had excellent experiences shopping at TimothyAdams; however, no cordiality was evident today. Rude! Perhaps the corporate influence has taken hold and small orders mean nothing. I did shift gears and went to The Works in Los Altos — delicious truffles and other types of candy plus extremely cheerful customer service and attitude. Going the extra mile seems to be what they do. Definitely worth the drive.

First visit.I had wanted to come here for a long time but I was a little intimidated so I went home and researched chocolate before I came. This has nothing on the chocolate, which I did not get to try, (it seems like their chocolate is very good quality) but the service is very cold, unfeeling, and makes one feel uncomfortable. I really wanted to love this place and have it replace Dandelion chocolate as my go to chocolate place, as it has bonbons, which Dandelion chocolate does not, and was really excited to visit. Unfortunately, this place does not have the warmth and sense of genuinely caring about your customers that dandelion chocolate has.P.S. First timers getting two free bonbons is not applicable to everyone.

I am a dessert lover and one of my good friends told me to visit this place and I was excited to come here. I ordered Kokoleka milk with hazelnut shake Which was good, but not worth 10$. I would have given it 4 stars if the same thing was of 7$. I am a normal person and look for quality as well as quantity. The owner of the restaurant should not compare this with Santa Monica pier, which is a famous tourist place, and McDonalds which is not a dessert place.

I am the receptionist writing on behalf of the HR team at Vendavo. I organized a team building workshop with the wonderful owners at Timothy Adams. There were 8 of us that went. We were greeted with the most delicious prosecco, sandwiches, fruits, and fantastic cheese. Timothy had us try the different types of chocolates they use and explained each one to us. After that, he taught us how he makes the truffles and had us learn hands on how to make two different types. We had so much fun and got to go home with our creations. My HR team couldnt stop thanking me for organizing it. They said it was the best team building event they had ever been a part of.I have been going to Timothy Adams for over a year now. Chocolate is my favorite thing in the world and I have to say that their chocolate is the best chocolate I have tasted in the US. They take so much pride in their creations too. They spend days making each one. My favorite truffle is their peanut butter ones, but I have to say my favorite thing in the shop is their drinking chocolate. Its just like the ones they have in Europe. Non of that watery powdered nonsense you get in most places in the US. Timothy Adams uses the best chocolates and makes thick, smooth, amazing hot chocolate. You get to pick what type of milk youd like and what type of chocolate. You can add one of their homemade marshmallows to the top or even a shot of espresso. If you dont feel like having hot chocolate, you can have some wine or bubbly with your truffles. I love hanging out in the shop and enjoying my treats because the environment is so cute and inviting and they play fun music. I honestly cant say one bad thing about this place. If I could give it 6 stars I would! Thanks for always being so friendly and welcoming, Timothy and Adams! I wish all the best for you both and your lovely shop! - Terra
