I have currently been with att for awhile but I recently happened to drop my phone and messed it up so I had to get a loner phone need I remind you the only other phone I had was Verizon.. I called customer service before I even showed up to the store well she let me know my SIM card would work and that they would just have to put in some info, well the guy really didnt try he just told me there was nothing that they could do but I feel like if your not buying any of their products or bring in a different phone or watch then they wont really help but that is twice I have been treated like that. The only time I was treated right is when I bought the phone from them I recently broke but a big ups to AT&T online customer service because they got me up and running. I thought customer service was about treating your customers right no matter what the situation is..

I went into this store to purchase a new phone for my wife for Christmas. I told the employee Karen that it was going to be a Christmas gift for my wife. They did not have the phone I wanted to get my wife in stock so they were going to have it shipped in. I asked if it would make it in time for Christmas. Karen was new it seemed and conferred with someone who was a manager on duty or at least somewhat knowledgeable. This person was not very attentive and seemed distracted. I was told that the phone would be overnighted. Karen said she would call me the next day when it came in.I did not get a call the next day but I had the day after that off and I just stopped by. I figured they just got busy or forgot to call me. They said my phone had not arrived. I told them I was told it would be overnighted and that it should have been here yesterday. They looked up my information and told me their record shows that it should arrive between the 21st and the 23rd. Im a little irritated but as long as it gets here before December 25th no big deal.I visit the store again on the 23rd while on my lunch break to see if the phone had arrived. They can not find it in the back with the other product that arrived that day and again look up my information. They tell me this time that the shipping time frame not the arrival time frame was the 21st through the 23rd and that it has not even shipped yet. I go through the story again about stating that I needed the phone before Christmas for a gift and that I was told it would be here the next day after I ordered it.The manager on duty (I assume) gave me the line that we have someone new... we tell our employees bla bla about orders... I even pointed out the employee that was helping Karen and said she was right there and said the phone would be there as well. Im was already late getting back to work and fuming by now and tell them to just cancel my order as I headed out the door. The manager follows me out of the door trying to tell me that they can not just cancel the order without me being there. I told her I would be back later that night to cancel it. So that is what I did.I do not blame Karen she is new but I do blame the managers or the others that were supposed to be helping her for lack of ability to train and make sure things were done correctly. The ignorance, inattention to detail, and lackluster follow through with someone who is new is appalling. Also, the people who double checked my order the other times I visited the store did not notice or take the time to find out (correctly) what the status of my order was.Overall I spent an hour trying to order this gift. And a good half hour trying to get it canceled. I will not visit this store ever again and will make all my transactions over the internet from now on. From other reviews I have read about AT&T customer service I am thinking of switching carriers all together.
