Vehicle was transferred here to be evaluated as a total loss. When I called they had no idea who I was, or where my truck was. When I explained what the truck was they said they had been debating all morning as to whos it was. Then, trying to get updates it sounded like they were upset that I even called.
This place is shocking, I have had my insurance company tow my car there twice for engine work and both times it was a joke getting it fixed. The first time I had it taken there I was notified that it was ready, went to pick it up and before I leave any shop I pop the hood to ensure everything is okay THE BELT WASNT EVEN SEATED ON MY ENGINE. we brought it to their attention and they pushed me off for another week before I could get it home. Ended up having to take it back and was advised that the power steering pump had gone out and that was the reasoning for the belt to fly off. Im not sure how many people know but when your pump goes out it will not cause the pulley to seize. So I went to an auto shop to grab a power steering pump to fix it myself. As we were working on it one of the workers came up and told us that the part we were working on was not the power steering pump, I laughed so hard, after convincing him that it was the power steering pump we were working on we were then told that was not the part that was broken. My jaw hit the floor as this guy leaned over my engine and pointed at the bottom of the back side by the transmission and said there was a pulley back there that was messed up not the one on top. HOW DO YOU GET A WATER PUMP MIXED UP WITH POWER STEERING PUMP. these 2 not only dont have the same job, are not even the same size, but also on the entire opposite side of the engine from each other. Entirely baffled on how someone can work at an automotive shop and not understand what they are looking at.
Very professional and a job well done.
It was awesome they helped me got my car in and out in a week
They quoted almost $1,000 for a scratch on the bumper. Get an estimate elsewhere.
