Bay Chrysler Dodge has a fantastic staff who are helpful, informative, and professional!My son was in the market for a new car and although shopping online is convenient test driving a new car is probably the best decision maker in the process of car buying!Our salesmen, Ronnie Childs was great! He is very personable, easy to talk to, and very informative. He took his time helping setup a Chrysler web account in order to capture a promo code worth a couple thousand dollars off the selling price and was able to get the best price for my boy!Picking the car was very easy since they only had one Dodge Charger on the lot and to be more exact quite possibly in the Panhandle! With new cars having to be ordered and then manufactured. Its becoming more and more difficult to walk into a dealership and buy a car off the lot because they just dont have the available inventory. All car dealerships are having the same problem. Unfortunately, this is the result of our world renowned Pain in the Butt Pandemic!But I digress, the staff at Bay Chrysler Dodge are will do their very best to get you into the new or used car of your dreams as quickly as they can!

Save yourself from deplorable service - buy somewhere else! I am a Jeep lover and owned them most of my life. Living in PCB, I purchased multiple vehicles from Bay . Its hard to believe, but even the local cable company offers better customer service.Dont be fooled by the sales process - its good, however, the service and support they deliver to their customers after accepting your hard earned bucks is nothing less than HORRIBLE. It is blatantly obvious they are the only game in town for new Jeep vehicles because they just frankly dont care to treat their customers with respectful and deliver diligent service. Under the new ownership, Bays service has declined precipitously. They dont follow through with promises, dont return phone calls (even ones they promise) and you can wait MONTHS to get warranty work completed properly. Say NO WAY to BAY!

We are new to PC. I visited the service center on 25 Sept for Oil change and tire rotation. The wait was a little long but overall service was great. Ashley A. was great, super helpful and friendly. The team did a great job even though they were short staffed. I definitely go back. I would give a 5 star review if they offered appointments.

After I bought my new keep, I have called 3 times for service and left a voice every time. Still no return call. I even called the salesman and it was as if he never heard of me. My Jeep is 2 months old and if this is the way customers are treated, I will have to re-think ever buying another, especially from this dealer.UPDATE - After contacting the GM, He took great care of everything including the electronics issues I was having, over 1 hr working with me, He had me work with MS. Owens, the service writer, again, she took care to explain my issues and being a first time Jeep owner and diesel owner that involved a lot of explaining.Need lees to say, i gave them a 4 star instead of 5 because I believe they need continue to strive for perfection which they were very close. I appreciate everyone there at the dealership for their patience.

This dealership has an average of 2.5 stars on 25 reviews. They deserve that. I see that most of the negative reviews are based on Service incidents. My review is based on a sales experience. Lady met me in the parking lot. She turned out to epitomize the 80/20 rule. 20% of car salespeople are out there hustling and negotiating and making sales, and this lady will always fall into the 80% who has a sad career.I knew the exact car I wanted; it had to be factory ordered. That entire process of factory ordering a car and coming up with a negotiated price for it was completely foreign to her, not a clue in her head about how to work for a factory ordered car. Asked for 3 times for an out-the-door price. Not a clue what I was talking about. Kept saying she couldnt give me a price because the pricing structure would be different when the car arrived. Well, hell, I know that. Thats why at every car dealership on the planet, you negotiate a price, have the Sales Manager agree to it and sign it, and when the car shows up you take that days incentives whether they help you or hurt you. But you STILL had an initial price agreed on for the sale of a car.Then I said, OK, lets pretend the car is already sitting out there on the lot, what would the out-the-door price be? She was clueless. Never once did she say anything like, hey, lets sit for a few minutes and go through some numbers and see if we can meet somewhere amicable, and get that car ordered for you.Shes merely banking on the people these days (2021-chip-shortage-etc) who walk in as uneducated as she is and are willing to pay over MSRP, plus all the silly dealer fees that educated people dont pay. Really sad experience. I wish I had the opportunity to talk to the Sales Manager who certainly would have had much more hustle and much more negotiating skill to get to a fair deal. But alas my visit to this dealership was an exercise in wasted time.

Traveling and needed service. Very friendly staff. Got me in and out reasonable time. They do have a shuttle that can take you somewhere if needed. I asked for synthetic oil, but part number on receipt shows conventional. So Im not sure which oil I received. The service writer when I questioned stated wasnt sure, but thought it was synthetic. When I got back to campground, I did search. According to part number, conventional. Not happy, that I couldnt or didnt get the product I asked for. But if ever here again needing service, Ill go somewhere else.

I love this Dealership. I have bought 2 cars and their parts and automotive dept. is OUTSTANDING. I have the Widebody redeye hellcat you may have seen inside their show room. I will not let anyone but Bay Dodge touch my car. The lady that checks you in when you bring your car is AWESOME. Her name is ASHLEY. If you need something done this woman will help you in every way she can. I just love her she is an awesome person.

Updating this review to 4 stars.After a couple of days I was able to connect with Steve and get Mopar Roadside Assistance set up for delivery of the Jeep.Once we got connected, both Steve and Chad were easy to work with.So far, I am pleased with the repair.Original Review:If you need service and if someone answers the phone, you will be transferred to a voicemail. You will then leave a message and then you will not get a call back. Repeat the process if you want, but no one is going to call you. The online chat is a bot and can only guide you to scheduling a drop off date. My nearly new and well within factory warranty Jeep Wrangler is all but dead in the water, so I cant even get it there without talking to someone.

Service Department is extremely difficult to work with. Very very frustrating.Made numerous calls and left messages at service desk and could never get a call back. Receptionist assured me all calls were returned. Well mine never was. Finally resorted to online scheduled and was able to schedule a visit two days out. Woohoo! Quickly received a call back on that to tell me they were booked solid for a week. Good scheduling software they have. So I scheduled an appointment a week out, fine. Had two electrical issues with warning light on the dash. They fixed one and had to order a part for the other. Said it would be 2-3 days and they would call. Now the fun really begins. Waited a week and called, no call back. Waited another week, no call back. At three weeks, called again. After calling three days in a row then, finally received a call back. Although, each time I left a detailed message referring to the ordered part, still had to ask me again, what it was I was calling about and took them some time to confirm they did in fact have the part. So I scheduled an appointment, a week out.When I showed up, I had to explain all over again to Kenny, my service rep, why I was there. %&#@Car is fixed, FINALLY. But I will not return to Bay. The Jeep is almost out of warranty so I will be taking it somewhere else for service. Cant say I wasnt warned. Know other people who had similar experience with Bay and suggested I go to Ft Walton for service. That was too far for me. Sure should have

Was ok with the 4 hour wait for an oil change, but after picking up my jeep there was a loud sound and vibration when in reverse. The two oil change reps claimed it is a bad motor mount, however the multipoint inspection failed to mention anything. Waiting to hear from the service manager to see what happened.Changing this review after taking my vehicle back to them. They resolved the issue and my vehicle is great again.

So I started shopping for a new car for my wifes birthday out of town... stopped by Bay Dodge and while i was looking for a used car, was turned on to a new challenger. Really glad to have met my sale man Ronnie Childs. I appreciate the high level of professionalism and allowing the car to stay on lot for a week out back, while He also took care of having the trips made to the tint shop and back. My husband purchased a car while on duty in Panama City in July 2019. He requested to register the vehicle in CA as that is where we were shortly moving to. Debbie in records did not do her job properly and the title to the truck was “lost.” Because of this, we were unable to properly register the vehicle, our loan didn’t reflect our bank as the lien holder on the title & therefore our APR skyrocketed to 15% from 3.9%.Upon reaching out to Debbie multiple times she said it was our job to request a duplicate title because “she did her job”. However we were unable to do so as the truck was purchased at auction by Bay Dodge from a different state. We were going around and around with her for A YEAR!!!! We asked for a supervisor at one point and she stopped returning calls and emails. We had navy federal reach out to her to no avail. We finally were able to get our bank to lower the APR due to the error but not before wasting over $1000 in interest at her error.In comes BARBARA who took over Debbies position... this lady deserves a raise. And an all expenses paid vacation.Her and I worked to get the duplicate title from Alabama. It was no easy feat - took over a month - but she got it done and she’s a true god send. We were finally able to pay off the truck and now own it outright with TITLE IN HAND!! In FEBRUARY 2021 - almost TWO years post purchase.Besides Barb being so amazing, I wouldn’t ever recommend this dealership to service members, or really anyone for that matter. Clearly their business practices don’t support them - they can’t even correct their faults.

We’ve purchased no less than 6 new vehicles here since 1990. It aggravates me to death that I can’t schedule an oil change appointment. They require me to show up and wait or be shuttled back and forth, if available at the time. I understand if I need the oil change immediately, but if I’m willing to wait a week or two, I should be able to schedule it. The message that I see here is they don’t want to help the customer with routine maintenance, because they don’t make enough money in that kind of work. This is not a reflection of the guys on their tools getting dirty k. The shop, it’s a direct disregard for the customer by the management. We may need to look around at other dealerships when we purchase our new truck this Summer, even though we try to use our money locally rather than at national chains. Called a local oil change place after I hung up with Bay Dodge, and I have an appointment this afternoon. They said it should take about 30 minutes.

My wife took our RAM 3500 dually in for an oil and fuel filter change and to have a service light evaluated today. At the same time, we asked them to perform a multi-point inspection because we had concerns about the brakes and axle boots as we are getting ready to take our RV to Orlando in February. $500 later, they sent my wife home and said everything was OK. Im fine with the bill for services rendered, these trucks are not cheap to maintain. But as I looked at the paperwork I saw that both the brake and boot inspections were marked Not Applicable on the inspection sheet. I called and asked them what the meant and they said they normally dont do those inspections unless the tires were being removed for another reason such as a rotation. Really? Then why is it on the Multi-Point Inspection list if you arent going to do it?? AND by the way, we went to RAM dealers in both Minnesota and Colorado during travels over the pat two years, and BOTH performed the full inspection, including brakes and boots, as part of the multi-point inspection. AND they both did not charge me a dime when they reported back that all was good. Now Bay Dodge Ram is telling me that I have to bring my truck back in, AND there will be a charge for the inspection now that they were supposed to do the first time anyway as part of our request. After Hurricane Michael we made a point to always bring our truck to Bay Dodge RAM even though the drive over the bridge would take two plus hours, we wanted to support the local economy after the hurricane. This is the way they repay us after everything is going good for them again? They should be ashamed, will never go back. Just called Fort Walton Dodge Ram, they will get me in ASAP and do the inspection over the correct way. I am willing to drive the extra 45 minutes to them rather than give another dime to these guys. Really disappointed in the overall thoroughness and quality of the work performed, and the lack of empathy by the Service Manager after I explained what had happened. Just wanted to get us in and out and take our money, never again.

Bought a pre-owned truck from these guys. I drive off in it, 20 minutes later a check engine light comes on but they had already closed being it was a Saturday so I waited and took it to a shop just to get the codes read and the owner told me all they did was clear the codes to get it sold but they knew about this issue beforehand. So I tell the dealership this and they fixed that. The change oil and fuel filters message also came on but they didn’t make that right, the truck also leaks water into the cab I literally had a puddle under my back seat once it got done raining hard. Oh we also agreed to have the tow mirrors off my old truck placed on the one I got from them and they wired them all wrong so now I’m left to change my oil, fuel filters, fix my water leak as well as wire the mirrors correctly. Anyone buying a vehicle from these guys make sure you thoroughly check the vehicle before signing and not open a can of worms as soon as you leave.

I read a lot of the other reviews before I went there, a lot of customers have a lot of negative things to say. First off weve had a bad situation with hurricane Michael, and I know having employees right now is really tough. When I first called the shop they said it was probably a couple weeks out to get an appointment but if I wanted to drop it off they would see how soon they could fit me in. I was very surprised when they called a couple of days later and said they were able to look at my issue. They attempted to fix my issue and it was a little more complicated than very first thought. But were very quick to take the vehicle back and do some more analyzing of the issue. They fixed it or at least we thought they did and another issue arose. Really cant blame them for a bad part being pretty mechanically minded I dont feel as though I was misled I just dont think that they could have known that the part was defective. I got my vehicle back in right away and got a new part to replace it in the vehicle, but I feel as though they did everything in their power to make me happy as a customer. Chad was my service writer and I have to say he never missed calling me back right away and keeping me informed on what was going on. As being involved in the car business for many years I know what a hard job he has but I must say he was open and honest and didnt try to hide stuff from me. So rating the dealership was a little tough but I gave them five stars because of the situation theyre in with hurricane Michael, lack of employees, timeliness on getting my car in and back to me, and Chad the service writer being honest and working with me is the reason why I gave them five stars I was leaning towards four, but they actually earned my business through it all.

I had come to this dealer with my jeep patriot a few years ago after the mechanic where I last lived told me my car needed brakes. The service department told me my brakes were fine, and that in all good conscience they could not sell me that job. I thought this honesty was a fluke of sorts. Until now. My sweet jeep patriot was recently totalled in an accident. The insurance company forced me to buy a replacement in less than a week. I bought a used jeep (from another party). I knew it had some issues, but it ended up needing major work done. Not only did Bay treat me with respect & kindness, they truly worked with me in every way for an extended period of time to ensure the car was safe and to give me the fairest deal they were able. I am grateful beyond, and would recommend getting your vehicle serviced here no matter how far you have to travel. It is so rare to find a dealership with this level of professionalism, honesty and care. I would go no where else.

I have a 2018 Chrysler Pacifica with 20,000 miles and last less than a week ago I had an issue with it. We live in Santa Rosa Beach so I have taken it to FWB and have not been happy with the service there. So I decided to call Bay in Panama City and have nothing but wonderful things to say! Chad in the service department was super friendly and accommodating!! He worked me in and offered me a rental car if needed! I literally called him, he said come in when you can and we will work you in! So I did that! I drove up and within 15 min I had a diagnosis and luckily it was a quick fix and my van was ready within an hour! Bay will forever be my home town dealer! I value this type of customer service as I am from a small town in Texas and Chad has treated me with respect and importance just as my home town! Thank you Chad for all of your help and professionalism! I now will not dread coming to get my car fix!

I have a 2012 Chrysler 200 that would stall and shut off completely while driving. I took it into the shop and they said it was just a corroded positive terminal leading to my fuse box. Instead of replacing that positive terminal they just “cleaned it off” in hopes that it would stop my car from completely stalling while driving. Which is a massive safety issue, which thousands of people are having, and it’s even recalled in the 2015 200. After I paid I went to my car and they parked my car in their lot within 6 inches from a concrete block which was located on the blind side of my vehicle. As I pulled out of the service parking lot the concrete block scuffed my right side bumper and knocked the entire bomber loose and broke two cheap plastic pieces on my car. After talking to the manager and service person heather they stated that they could put it on a lift and possibly “zip tie” the bumper so it would hold. This is absolutely outrageous that your company would risk the safety of myself and integrity of my vehicle with “zip ties” because they are too lazy to put their customers first. My bumper is made from cheap plastic, and is probably going to fall off any time, and has a huge scuff on it. I paid $18,000 for this car and they can’t even offer to replace my bumper. Horrible company, horrible car, horrible service. Once I pay off this car I will NEVER purchase anything made by Chrysler, dodge, Jeep, fiat. Stay away !

I havent dealt with this locations sales department but I can definitely say their service left me feeling confident with bringing my RT back in the future for work. I pulled up and they drove my car back to start on it almost immediately. Staff was very nice to me. Waiting area also offers wifi and outlets so you can bring a laptop/charger if you think you may be there for a while. The bathroom was also clean which is always a great sign. If you are in Northwest Florida I would recommend this location over Tallahassee and Fort Walton Beachs dealerships, well worth the drive.

Waste of my time... I stopped in this morning to get some information on a Jeep Wrangler and I got the distinct impression that I was interrupting the sales staff from more important things. The fact that I was the only customer in the room didnt seem to make a difference. Based on this experience, I will definitely take my business somewhere else. I had my car key lost. AAA locksmith couldnt make it. Used AAA to tow here and these people did it fast. Its not cheap, but hey, Im back on my wheels. I had two other keys with me that needed programming and they did it with no extra charge. Excellent!

I went into their parts department to buy a gas cap for my 2004 Dodge Ram. The full list price is $18.70. instead they tried to charge me $30.82. I know OEM parts are more expensive, but 65% OVER full list is ridiculous. Their parts department is a rip off. This is my first time going into this dealership, and thanks to their parts department, it will be the last. I buy vehicles for my company and have a fleet. A Chrysler product will not be among them EVER.

Worst service I’ve ever had. Brand new 2019 been in shop over two weeks now for the same issue that wasn’t fixed the first time it was put in the shop for 3 days.Truck still has water leaking into the cab and I swung by to check on it last week and it’s just sitting outside with the same wet carpet. I bet if they had bought a 60k dollar truck they would expect better service.

Awesome guys here. Lost my keys to my truck. Showed up about 10 before closing on a Wednesday with my truck on a wrecker to get a key programmed and they got it knocked out right away. Couldnt ask for better service.

2016 RAM Laramie Longhorn 2500 Diesel. Went in today for a recall to have my water pump replaced. Got it back rather quick. Took it to my wifes workplace about 1 mile away and dropped it off for her. She called from work and said the Low Coolant warning had come on. Found that the coolant reservoir was completely empty. Change a coolant pump and forget to refill the system? Amateurs . Never have been impressed by the Service Dept here. Its obviously a shop being pushed for fast turnover to increase profit. Quality and thoughtfulness be danged. I like RAM but will probably not get another... because I would than have to continue to use this Service Dept

This is one of the most customer oriented dealerships I have ever purchased a vehicle from. From the time I purchased my new Jeep until now, both the sales staff and service departments have been outstanding. From the top down Bay Dodge cares more about the customer than a fat bottom line. They have bent over backwards to make sure my needs were met. I highly recommend checking them out if your in the market for a new vehicle.On a side note having read some of the other review on here I felt it necessary to comment. I am pretty hard on car dealerships and I can honestly say this was by far one of the easiest I have ever had to deal with.
