Wow! Just wow! What a donut. We just came from there about a half hour ago and Im in love! We got their King Dan with chocolate (Added a picture) and it was absolutely incredible! Make sure you get a bottle of milk to go with it because you are going to need it! The other donuts we grabbed were all amazing and soft as well. The only draw back to this spot was I dont think I can ever go back to not having these donuts. Im spoiled for life!

Touted as “THE” donut place in Panama City. Have to admit they are pretty good. The fritter was huge and tasty. I preferred the cake donuts but the glazed yeast was top notch. They have a huge variety. There is generally a line and it’s across the street from the high school so plan accordingly. Def worth a stop.

Absolutely delicious. You can call ahead if you dont want to wait in line. Stopped by while on vacation in Panama City Beach,, FL. with my granddaughter and her husband, Heather and Kenny Hutchins. Would highly recommend and will be back again next year.

I came here because it was recommended to me by two different people. Although they were good, and fresh, I wouldn’t say that they were earth shatteringly delicious. There is a long line when you get there and there’s a big display case that you can see all the yummy donuts. The prices were OK. They usually run out of donuts before noon. My boyfriend loves the apple fritters.

Very popular shop to the local area. I like the small town walk-up feel. I got there about 9 am and all they had for donut selection was glazed, maple or chocolate frosting. Ill try to come back earlier to get a better selection. Overall, 3 stars for this visit. Ill post an update next time I come back earlier in the morning.

Dan-D- Donuts is a staple in Panama City Florida and its almost impossible not to make a pit stop by there while in town .I ordered two chocolate sprinkle donuts one cinnamon roll a link sausage sandwich and a small cup of coffee..Their cinnamon rolls I think are the most popular item on the menu. They are huge and delicious.This particular visit..I was given an abnormally small cinnamon roll.I brought it to the cashiers attention.She insisted, they were the same thing but not the same sizes because theyre made by hand and if they were made by a machine theyd all be the same size. She gladly gave me another one .Thank goodness I looked in the bags.. Overall experience was good as usual.

Literally.The apple and cherry fritters, as well as the cinnamon raisin and chocolate cinnamon rolls are as big as a bible.Holy Shit! Was my immediate reaction when I saw them.They also offer a variety of breakfast biscuits, juice, milk, and coffee.Last but not least, the customer service was great. Way above average. Dan Dee get a lot of praise for their donuts, but the hidden gem is their hot food. I finish work in the mornings and regularly stop by for delicious sandwiches, often calling ahead first so its a short jaunt through a line.You have to try their spicy chicken. Its great as a side or on a croissant. They also make a killer burger, and the food is always fresh. The combo of a sammy, side and a drink is good value.Theyre also one of the few places Ive gone to that has never messed up an order. Theyre super consistent. Just make sure you either get there early to get the specific sweet stuff like donuts that you want (or order them the day before). People are NUTS for those donuts.

Great donuts. Huge selection with something for everyone. This is an outdoor shop and most of their selections are neatly organized behind glass with the just made donuts cooling on racks in the baking area. Get there early, they sell out of certain donuts shortly after opening. Go on Friday for devil’s food chocolate, chocolate donuts. Chocolate frosting is chocolatey and tasty. It’s not too sweet. Fantastic chocolate chip muffins. The big and best apple fritters ever are yummy. Cinnamon rolls are huge.

My review has changed for a few reasons. The girls who work here act like they are SO inconvenienced when you are ordering your donuts. (To include completely ignoring my 2 year old daughter waving excitedly and saying Hi to them) They didnt get our order correct even though my husband was standing there pointing out exactly what he wanted.The only reason Im giving the second star is because the donuts taste good. So disappointed. Terrible customer service. I doubt well ever go back.

Dan~D~Donuts is the ONLY place to go when your tummy is growling. They have the freshest and best donuts but thats not all! I love their sweet tea. Their prices are great. Service is fast and Ive never been served by a friendlier staff. They always smile and are polite and (to me) that says alot about how the bosses/owners treat their staff. Their burgers taste like you just pulled it off the grill. But my all time favorite is the Turkey croissant with mayo lettuce tomato and onion. Oh boy! My mouth is watering as I say it! They also have a drive thru and take call~in orders. Plus I just noticed they have one of those services delivering for them now! Theres something for everyone. The ONLY downfall is that theyre only open til 1 (11:30 on Saturday) so you gotta get there early if youre wanting particular donuts.And I wish theyd open another location with seating. Well I gotta go. Its 5:43am and Ive gotta get me some AMAZING Dan~D food!!! Try it! You WONT be disappointed! Chao.....

I love that you can order from a drive through and a walk up and pay window. When you walk up and pay at the window, their products are on display for you. Their menu is fairly inexpensive, and absolutely worth trying. Their fries are literally to die for, I think theyre better than other fries from fast food places. Their donuts have a firm but gooey kinda texture, and its perfectly glazed so it makes your tastebuds go bonkers. I recommend their fries, and a simple glazed donut if you stop by🌠

The donuts are exceptional & that means a lot coming from someone who grew up on those made by the people whose name rhymes with punkin. I tried their spicy chicken croissant & it was good but a little smaller than I expected... a donut for dessert is recommended :)

The donuts have a lot more bread than the average. For some donuts there, it is too much bread for the flavor you get. Probably the tastiest donut Ive had there were the fritters. They are huge and have a decent amount of fruit in them. The chocolate icing is the best. Also, the chocolate iced long johns have a better tasting custard than some donut restaurants Ive been to. The chocolate iced cinnamon roll could have more cinnamon in the dough, but it is still good. Most of the donuts cost around $3-$4 each. Weve been there four times so far. On our last visit this year, it was disappointing. The donuts tasted greasy and the chocolate icing had fallen off of the donut where it dried on the wax paper and the napkins. After it dries, it wont scrape off, so youre left with a mediocre donut that you paid almost $5 for. For that price, it should come in a box.
