FANTASTIC! Hurricane Michael took my screened porch and damaged the other side. My porch is even more beautiful than before. Ken did a beautiful job. Sean took care of everything. The coordinator answered my many questions and was quick in his responses, he made sure that we got exactly what we wanted design wise. The pricing was very competitive. I called at least three vinyl fence contractors in Bay County to repair damage I received as a result of Hurricane Michale. Gulf Fence was the FIRST to respond. They sent a really nice Rep (Sean M.) to assess my damage, provide a quick and FAIR estimate. I appreciated the quality and reasonable time in which the work was performed, too -- especially with customer demand after the storm. If you need fence repair, give them a call or drive over to their office.

On 17 Dec 2018 after hurricane Michael destroyed my chain link fence and patio cover I contracted with Gulf Fence and Construction to repair or replace the fence and patio cover. I was told I was the last customer they were taking. After a couple of months they replaced the patio cover so I expected them to do the fence soon. After a couple more months I still had not heard from them so I started calling and was told to leave a message. I continuously left messages but no one returned my calls. After a solid 6 months I found where their office had moved due to hurrricane damage, and talked to the lady that handles the fence work orders. I was told that my work order was in the computer but the paper copy had been misfiled. One of their people came by and apologized and took the changes I had to the original job. He said they would be out within a week to install the fence. One week turned into three weeks then 4 weeks finally the person came and set the end poles. Another week went by and a crew finally put the fence in. But they didn’t have the double gate. On a Monday I was told the gate would be in Wednesday and they would install it that week, another week went by no gate. After numerous calls the gate was dropped off but not hung. Several more calls and the person I was dealing with hung the gate but didn’t install a latch. After another week I purchased a latch and installed it myself. At no time did anyone offer me a discount because of their mistakes. I will never deal with this company again. Fence ordered in Dec 2018 not finished until July of 2019.

James and Tom did a great job! They are very professional and kept me informed about timelines once work started. The fence and gates look terrific, solid, and well-crafted. It was sometimes difficult to get responses from the company, but they did follow up when I was persistent with contacting them. Installation took place within a close time frame of the date given. They were very flexible when we had to change our original plan since an adjoining neighbor installed a different style fence after we had already met with the estimator. They came up with a good plan to make everything blend. I’m happy to use local companies who stand behind their work!

Needing a screener desperately due to a hurricane ripping into my screen enclosure leaving shreds behind, I called Gulf Fencing and Contracting. They came out and replaced every bit of screen and door making it as good as new. I would highly recommend this company to others in the Panama City Florida area. Also very responsive to calls and hardworking hired help like Todd and Sean.

My wife and I decided to get a chain link fence for our dog. We had read some good reviews with Gulf and decided to go with them, glad we did (Rocky) our dog couldnt be more pleased roam out there instead of being cooped up all day inside the house. If we ever need any other fence work we wont have to read any reviews well go straight to them.

Worst fence company to deal with. From day 1 back they were paid in full to complete work on a vinyl fence. They made excuses and kept delaying work which also cause delays for pool to be completed(pool couldn’t be completed until fence was). Once fence was completed a week later the door falls down. They never put metal bars by the poles to support door.They even forgot to pour concrete and a few post( it’s not till hurricane struck did we have another fence company point this out to us)The owner doesn’t care about fixing mistakes or delays caused by his company.My suggestion, do your research. Sometimes reviews can be misleading. Some reviews have family and employees write it to boost up itsImage. Do more research, something I wish I did. And never pay in full even when they promise your work will get priority because it’s a lie.The images shows how they attached my fence to my neighbors fence which is not allowed by any county and would cause the owner of the fence liable for any damages done to my neighbors fence.

I have a large rural property and the guys finish in just one day. Excellent job all.I would definitely recommend Gulf Fence and Construction...and I will call them again.

I was quite excited when I came home to see my fence was finished, my wife told me it was nice but wow this vinyl fence was definitely the route for us. The sales guy was able to answer every question my wife and I had. Scheduling was a little difficult because my wife wanted to be home but it all worked out thanks to Lee keeping in contact with us.

While I was happy with my fence it did take longer than expected to get started. I did speak with the owner and he apologized and assured me that he would make sure the crew was starting soon. He did offer to give full refund of deposit it, I did not want to wait any longer. Glad I decided to stick with Gulf Fence. Even though it took a few days longer than expected to get started I am extremely happy with final outcome.

Lee and his staff were professional and on budget. Lee actually followed up and answered any further questions I had, unlike the four other fencing companies I contacted earlier. Lee and his crews work far exceeded​ my expectations! I highly recommend Gulf Fence, and would not hesitate to call them again.

Lee and his staff did an excellent job. I tried to contact 4 fence companies through email or calling. Gulf Fence was not on my list. I had one email come back and said that someone would contact me soon, never heard from that someone. I never heard from the other 3 as well. After about 3 or 4 days I called one company and spoke with the owner and set up an appointment to come out. He never showed or called. Thats when I called Gulf Fence and spoke with Lee. He came out answered all my fencing questions and gave my estimate. My fence was installed in 2 days. All question and phone calls were answered and or returned. Nice guys, nice work.But I was told once I paid my deposit it would be 2 weeks to start my fence....3-4 days to complete. (I have a toddler, 3 dogs, and a pool......I chose them because they promised quickest results)9 WEEKS LATER!!!...my fence is complete. The company would not consider giving a discount, despite my desperation and patience. I understand you can not predict the weather, but I felt like my expensive, custom fence was a bother & treated with no sense of urgency. Its unfortunate.In response to owner:First off, I never threatened anyone. I simply stated my stance....I believe as THE CUSTOMER that I was lied to and postponed for longer than promised. It is a unique fence and presents the opportunity for LOTS of new business for you company. Which, fortunately for you, you apparently dont need. Now, when people ask who did the fence.... instead of speaking highly, I will tell the truth. I was jerked around for months, with no financial requards. Had I been treated with respect and been quoted the correct time frame, I would have chosen differently.I understand you are busy. But I dont understand why that affects the customer.As far as the 6 inches of water (obviously out of anyones control) but I can say..... had the project started in November, when I was quoted, there was no water on the ground.Lastly, I agree with your social media advisor. You shouldnt have responded. It only makes you sound like a money hungry jerk. How dare you even mention me paying my bill in a timely manner....as if I havent paid 70% already. (The fence was completed 48 hours ago) How dare you try to imply that I waited until the fence was complete, then demanded a discount after saying I was happy with the project. I stated in many conversations over the last few weeks my growing frustrations and that I anticipated some sort of modification on the monies agreed to. After all, I agreed to a price based on a time frame.I am happy with my fence. It encloses my family and protects neighborhood kids from my pool.
