Paul was quick to assist us in our quote and reasonable in pricing. Mark and his assistant quickly came out to rebuild the back portion of our fence. The original fence was a cheap vinyl one that was incorrectly installed and not reinforced at all. Paul ran through a number of different options with us, but we decided to just rebuild with treated pine. The communication and turnaround time were fantastic. Quality is now on a professional level thanks to Mark and Paul. I would recommend them and utilize them for any future projects!

Fair pricing for the quality of work provided

I was a little unsure in the beginning due to the things that I was reading in the reviews but I used Shoreline Fence recently and would recommend it to anyone in the area. My fence is wood and aluminum and was basically done within 2 days time with absolutely no hiccups. My fence is great quality and the price was the best in the area hands down. I’ll be recommending him to my friends for sure.

We met with a representative from Shoreline Fence company in October of 2014 to have them construct a board on board fence in our backyard. We wanted the fence to be constructed with pressure treated lumber so it would stand the test of time and we were assured that they only build fences using pressure treated lumber. By December of 2014, our fence had been built. It looked great and we paid Shoreline the balance they were owed.Fast-forward to October of 2017. All the planks on our fence touching the ground are rotting. A portion of the fence adjacent to our house is now leaning and you can see decay in the 4x4 buried in the ground for support. I contacted Shoreline Fence and two days later, I received an e-mail response from Paul Pope. In that, he assured us that they ONLY use pressure treated wood for the fences they construct. Paul assured me that the wood was pressure treated and offered to come out and investigate my claim. I made the mistake of sending him pictures of the rotting fence.He never showed up. And since then, he has informed me that the warranty on their work has long since passed and this was not his problem.BUYER BEWARE.

Shorelines bid was not the lowest but it was still the best value as the materials used and workmanship were top notch. I would definitely use them again.

I have used Shoreline Fencing twice now and will most definitely use them in the future for all of my fencing needs. They are professional and always kept me in the loop on how their schedule was running. I never felt like they were playing games with me. I had a chain link fence installed with one rolling gate and one double swing gate. The fence was fabulous but I ended up needing a rolling gate at the other end as well. So Shoreline gave me a great price on replacing the double gate with another rolling gate. I plan on doing a privacy fence along the back soon and will be using Shoreline for this as well. If you need someone in Bay County who does quality work, you should definitely use Shoreline Fence Company.

This company is ridiculous! Gave them 3,000 cash deposit, then no word for 30 days, until I called them. Now 60 days later still no fence, got a text message this morning at 5:29am saying they would install next week over 70 days. Then an hour ago I received another text saying my refund check was in the mail . I called them and no answer as normal. Steer clear of this headache!

These guys do a great job! They use quality products, XL fence posts, metal reinforced wooden gates. I am very pleased with the job.

I would proceed with caution with this company & Paul Pope, the owner. Mark did the actual fence work and I believe is a sub contractor that Shoreline Fence uses. I believe Mark is the only sub contractor.They installed part of our vinyl fence. However, the Vinyl gate was not installed. We were told it had not come into their warehouse yet. They were suppose to come back to install the gate.We did request that they not install a small section of our fence because we were having a pool built and the digger equipment needed access into our yard.Shoreline said that they would not install this small 20 foot section including both gates, but we would have to pay the full amount we owed them which was $5,000. We had no choice so we did that.We were concerned that after paying them, they may disappear, as contractors are known to do, when we needed the final fence and gates installed after our pool was dug.The time came 2 weeks ago, and as we all all agreed, I contacted both Paul-owner, and Mark sub contractor laborer, requesting they come and compete the fence job we paid them to do.Originally, Mark said he only needed a few days notice in case he was on another job.Well, we are going on 2 weeks now. The owner, Paul is NOT responding to our voice-mail nor texts. NEITHER IS MARK. MARK IS NOT RESPONDING 5O VOICEMAIL NOR TEXTS.This is exactly what we were concerned about.This is bad busienss and there is no excuse.We also had to wait many months just to get them to start our fence job. Covid excuses.Paul kept delaying...weather, covid, they many jobs,etc.Look, we understand some of that. I have owned contracting companies and I have been a general home building contractor. I get it.What I dont get is the failure to communicate with us as promised. They got paid, we didnt get completed job yet.**despite asking them not to install a 2p foot section (yet) bc we needed it left open to bring a digger machine in, THEY STILL DID NOT BRING OUR WHITE VINYL GATE IN THE FIRST PLACE. So, they would have had to come back anyway to install that gate regardless of our request to delay a fence section and put it up 2 months later.Anyway, I highly recommend not paying anything until job is 100% complete with Shoreline. Cant trust them.If they still refuse to reply and give us a date they will return to finish our fence project...I will provide my experience on every review website online. I will make many visits to Paul Popes home until I locate him in person.I will not be scammed.I am happy to adjust this review, but as of Nov. 19th 2020, if our fence is not fully installed within a day or 2, or Mark or Paul has not contacted us back...we will go to BBB, Chambers, and small claims court.Matt. Paul went to my property and saw one of his ex-employees taking measurements for our fence replacement; and, called me to tell me he would return after the person left that afternoon and then email me a quote later that day. I never heard back from Paul since that day, so I texted him a minute ago and Paul said he was not taking on any more work. Well, I am so happy he did not provide a quote as I put a lot of emphasis on who I do business with on their customer service level, particularly after Hurricane Michael. This is a $15-20,000 fence project so his lack of communication must have been due to something other than it not being a nice fence project. There were other poor reviews when I first located Shoreline, but I thought I would give them a chance to prove the reviews wrong. No hard feelings Shoreline, but I will not be recommending you to anyone in the future. I had 3 other quotes and each fence company responded promptly, competitively and with a smile.

The absolute worst Customer Service. We contacted this company for a meeting to get a quote on installing a fence. They scheduled to meet with us on a Monday at 12:00 and @ 12:05 advised that they were to far from the location to meet with us. They would not return our calls or text messages to reschedule. I can understand them not maybe wanting to do the project for what ever reason, but to totally be rude and not give a heads up that they had bigger or better prospects was beyond the scope of good business practices. We were in the area from Nebraska and needing to secure a contractor for our rental property with a limited amount of time to do this. We were fortunate enough to secure a meeting with another contractor for the same day and all worked out for the best. Most likely if they can not handle the easy stuff like common courtesy, their workmanship probably isn’t the best either.

WOW! Estimate on Wednesday....completed fence by Saturday morning. When our estimate was written, Paul made sure to fully cover the plan for installation, as well as all our requests. Mark & his crew did an excellent job constructing the fence, while being especially attentive to our requests. Including the hole for the cats to pass through.Absolutely 100% pleased with our fence. I would recommend this company to everyone.

Had a rod iron fence installed 4 years ago and we never Understood why our posts always seemed to move as the time progressed. Come to find out they had busted all of our underground piping for drainage system and failed to tell us. Shortly after discovering why our drainage system was not working correctly we had a company fix it and the 1st thing they brought to our attention was there is no concrete around your post. We contacted the owner and he could care less after we spent almost $7000. Sad thing is these companies are making millions so they dont care about the people they took care of before the hurricane I would never recommend this company

I definitely recommend Shoreline Fence. I decided to go with Shoreline Fence after research and most websites had good reviews. I reached out to several other companies and Shoreline beat other quotes by several hundred dollars. It does take them some time to get started based on there other jobs and weather. I am a very patient person so it did not bother me. Once they(Mark) and his team started, they completed the fence in four days. This included working over the Memorial Day weekend. I was very impressed with the final results. The gates are on a 6x6 post and have an aluminum frame. I know my gates wont be touching the ground in a year. Thanks to Paul, Janet and Mark for a great looking and well built fence.

Called to schedule an estimate for a property we are closing on in 2 weeks (property is vacant). We live in Oklahoma, so are trying to arrange all our repair work to be done during the short 4 days we are in Panama City Beach. We needed two simple side fences with gates and a flat deck- no railing, no flair, basically just a ground cover. Shoreline refused to schedule a quote because they couldnt meet with us in person for the quote (we would most definitely meet with them in person before scheduled work started). I understand the desire to want to meet with people in-person, but we are from Oklahoma and that is not possible. This company had such great reviews, so were very disappointed that they werent willing to provide a quote to us after a detailed explanation of the simple work we needed. Weve received a quote from another company that was willing to provide an estimate without having met us, but we were hoping to have cost comparisons.

From the beginning to the end of my installment, Mr Pope, Janet, Mark and his crew all treated me with such professionalism and respect and kept me involved in the entire project. I had researched several fencing companies and contacted 3. Mr Pope was the only one who returned my call. He arrived on time, prepared and worked with me to draw out a plan for my yard. He explained the process and presented me with information regarding the quality and warranty on the type fence I chose. I received a phone call from him the next day following up to answer any questions or concerns. He also gave me addresses of properties he had installed fencing to see the quality of workmanship. I was highly impressed. I read all of his previous consistent positive reviews and hired them. My next contact was from Janet, his ofc mgr. She knows her stuff! She has personally installed fences and explained in detail what to expect, who the installers would be and how long the project would take. She kept in touch with me before, during and after the installation! Shes a cool chick with lots of knowledge! Next would be Mark, the foreman of the installation. He and his crew of 2 were so great to work with. I had an area in my yard that would include a shower enclosure and he brainstormed with me on how to design it. He kept me involved every step of the way. When he staked out the plan, he asked me to approve, when it came to the shower enclosure and gate area, he was very detailed and accurate with his measurements and again included me in the process until I was happy. He and his crew were very professional and respectful of me and my property. They didnt do anything without asking my permission. Shoreline Fence exceeded my expectations! Excellent company and staff!

I have used shoreline on 2 occasions to build new fencing and add to existing. They installed 3 gates for me and the aluminum frames are the best. Highly recommend shoreline.

We we extremely unhappy with the installation of the fence. All of our neighbors agreed it was a lousy job. The owner, Paul and his office lady were rude and difficult to work with. Even the installers didnt like him. We should have taken him to court, but we decided to let it go. Since the hurricane, we lost 2 panels and called to order and pay for 5 pieces to fix our fence ourselves. He left us a message saying he would pass and refused to sell us 5 pieces to fix our fence. I would give 0 stars. Horrible service. Now, we may hire the attorney. BUYER BEWARE. I will give anyone our address to come look at his quality of work.

This is a review of Shoreline Fence Company and my experience with them. I will be the first to say, if you are using this company to be patient. Sometimes scheduling will change due to weather and put your installation behind. I will say though, the work stands out for itself. They go out of the way to accommodate what the buyer wants. The installers are a fantastic group of guys to work with when it comes to personal preference and detail. I do stress when using this company patience is a must from time of order to delivery to installation. I enthusiastically give this company a five star review and would totally hire them again.

Altogether a great experience. Shoreline Fence set an installation date and they nailed it! The work was outstanding and even when we (the customer) threw a curveball at them with a slight change of plans Pauls team made the adjustments to suit our needs. We highly recommend Shoreline Fence.

Love my new fence. We received exactly what we were looking for and the crew was super fast putting up our fence.

If I could give a zero, I would. My home was damaged from hurricane Michael, fence and everything was gone. A couple of months before the storm, I contacted shoreline for an estimate on a new fence. After the storm, I again contacted them and they had risen the price almost 1500$ extra. ON top of that, they wouldnt even start working for about a month. When it was all finished, I got hit with that additional 1500$ and 5 of the posts were not even level. Contacted the mobile number and was told It isnt our problem anymore. Still repairing the damage done to my yard from their work trucks today.DO NOT GO HERE. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND GET REAL CONTRACTORS.

Very pleased with the fence repairs that Shoreline did at our home! Will definitely be using them again when we are ready to replace the whole thing.

We had a fence installed by them in 2016. Following Hurricane Michael, we were missing 3 panels (or pickets as the man on the phone rudely informed me they are called).We were unable to find pickets that fit at any hardware store in the area and we even tried several neighbors spare pieces.After emailing photos of the fence, Shoreline informed us that for them to replace our 3 pickets it would be $720 which is 20% of what we paid for our ENTIRE fence.They wont just order the pieces for us so we can install it ourselves and apparently cant tell us what brand of fence it is.Absolutely abysmal customer service. Everyone Ive spoken with has been rude and unhelpful. Dont recommend them.

They say they do commercial fencing on their website but when I called they quickly cut me off and said that they only do residential.

Called to get a quote on a Chain Link fence replacement. Was told they arent doing chain link at this time. They have Chain link on their site but they wouldnt even provide a quote.

Called for a estimate after looking at their web site where they offered repair service large or small. Was told they wouldnt be interested on anything under 300 feet. Change you web site please!
