Had what I needed. Prices are a bit high but for convenience its a great place to shop. You get help here, not so much at the other home stores. Gave 4 stars just because of prices.

I was looking for a particular pet itemand found out they no have a pet section. Disappointed

They pretty much got what you need its pricey though like all Ace Hardware but they got good deals to you just got to catch the deals make things happen thats how we roll up in here. You can find a great deal there sometimes no s*** tear so do your part and throw down on the local Ace Hardware store and some moolah

Great store. Helpful employees. Plus they have somehow been able to keep that small town, mom & pop store feeling that makes ya feel good being there.

I ride a bike most places and as such use a backpack to carry items (phone, wallet, water). I have never had a problem walking in to a store with my backpack. That is, until today I walked in to this ACE Hardware store. I was asked to leave my backpack at the front. I did not see a single other woman being asked to leave their very large purses at the front. I did not spend money at this store, I left because it was clear my kind (those with backpacks) are not welcome while those with very large bags (such as purses) are free to roam wild in the aisles. Oh, I ended up finding what I needed at a cute little mom and pop store that even had complimentary soda.*EDIT* Based on the response about strict loss prevention I fully anticipate that all persons carrying any type of bag (purse, backpack, fanny pack, satchel, man purse) will be expected to hand over their personal belongings for the privilege of shopping in this store. The business has the right to refuse service. I have the right to spend my money in a place that doesnt assume every customer is trying to steal.

Fully stocked hardware store. I stopped by because they had a few disc golf discs. They have more than a few plus baskets, bags.and more accessories....highly recommended them.

Polite cleaks, willing to help any way they can. Love the clearence area.

So nice to go into a hardware store & not spend most of my time chasing an employee who is ultimately unable to help me.I was able to get the help I needed from knowledgeable, personable staff who seem to enjoy their jobs & interacting with customers. Its always a pleasant experience to go into our local Ace Hardware stores!

Never order for pickup.Youll pay ahead online.Get there and they wont even have the item.Then youll never get your money back.(Edit) this was Springfield location.I only shop in person there since,And only when i really need too.

For a little hardware store it has a lot to offer. Just not always the best on prices or availability. Otherwise good service and Hometown feel.

I over the park for my chainsaw and when it came in they called me and I went and picked it up they were very nice they gave me a rewards discount it was very good experience

You cant get propane during a thunderstorm, which makes sense.

I’m the general manager of history class brewing company. I come to ace in springfield regularly to get my propane filled for the brewery . I’ve been in the hospitality for over 25 years. George is hands down a fantastic employee, and demonstrates excellent customer service and knowledge. This is the kinda guy you want running things. Authentic and genuine.

Money hungry!!! I grabbed roach spray instead fly spray because they look similar. It was a 2 for $5 deal. When I tried to swap out the spray for the right one, I was told since the deal is over, Id have to pay for it. Never heard of that one before. Yall are ridiculous

I use Ace often and the staff is always friendly and professional.I was shopping for some plants in the outdoor section recently to complete a job and one of the staff members Trevor went out of his way to help me get my merchandise and the information i needed regarding it.I manage a fairly good size property and employees like Trevor should be considered a valuable asset to any company.

Recently it had surgery and was asked by doctor not to pick up anything. Came in to get some 40 lb bags of salt. And ask for assistance from front counter. Gentleman by the name of George big smile grab the cart loaded the equipment. Carried it out the car loaded on truck. And thank me for being a customer. Excellent customer service you never see it anymore. Big shout out to George. Thank you

Like the convenience of Ace near my home, very close and easy to get to. The store is clean and the staff are always friendly and polite, and willing to show you where items you need are located. The store is not very large but i like that. The garden center is nice, could have a few more varieties but it has what i needed. Yes the prices are a bit more than Lowes or Home Depot. But i believe this is locally owned(not positive). The convenience, easy access and staff keep me coming here.

Good local hardware store for pretty much all of your needs.They are an authorized Stihl dealer and usually have a full assortment of Stihl products for any budget. I’m in the market for a new trimmer and will likely purchase it here.Support local business instead of the big box outlets whenever you can. I always prefer to spend my money with locally owned businesses.

When youre working all around Panama City and Panama City Beach, you know where every hardware store is at, and this place is a welcome place to have on your list in Springfield.

Dont understand how a ship to store item cannot be returned or exchanged. I didnt even want my money back, just an exchange for something I could use and the manager just threw his hands in the air and said an online order is an online order. Ummm...I been in retail long enough that ship to store orders can be processed in store. Why is Ace unable to handle this? I wasnt even given the option to receive store credit. I was basically told handle it elsewhere like I didnt purchase my products from the companyMy first visit which should have been a warning, I bought a heat lamp. It literally caught on fire while in use. I tried to exchange it for one with a ceramic ring but they had none in stock. Again, I didnt want my money back maybe find something else I could use....Was told I cannot return my item because it was my fault it caught on fire the same day I tried to use it. This was literally within 3 hours of me purchasing it.I dont understand why the return policy here causes you to jump through hoops just to make you feel like YOU did something wrong. Im not going back to Ace. I live 8mins away but its not worth the headache anymore. I will say some of the associates here are absolutely friendly.

I like to shop at Ace because it is very close to where I live. Every time I walk into Ace someone is always there to greet me as well as ask if I need any assistance in finding anything. Keep in mind that this happens before I even need to ask where something is. Great customer service here and the convenience is superb. The flip side of this whole thing is the prices are a little high. They are a little bit more than the big box stores but it is made up in customer service and the convenience of location.

Good people help a lot

I came in the get a fitting for my air nail gun and the young man that came to help me tried and said he had to go get Mr. Eugene. Mr. Eugene not only came over to help me but he asked the gentle which fitting would the nail gun need. He was teaching and helping me at the same time. I was so impressed because you dont see that anymore. I will definitely be back to Ace Home and Garden.

Great alternative to thebig box stores. Employees very easy to find for assistance, if they dont ask you if you need help first. And if by the low chance one doesnt know the answer to a question you have, he/she will find someone quickly who does.

They are awesome. They greet you at the door, they care about whatever project you are working on, they know their products and can advise which product would be best for you. They are interested in you as a long-time customer instead of a quick sale. Cant say enough good things about Ace Hardware.

I give 5 stars because customer service is better here than the Ritz hotel They Know You by name they are very helpful very polite. But as everybody knows Ace is the place when you want to spend more money then you want to on a certain item. Just a little too expensive for my everyday shopping

Love going here, has everything I need. Great garden area. Got a yard cart, now I dont have to worry about flat tires anymore. They had buy one get one free on shovels, rakes etc...., great deal!!!!!!

Im usually a big box store shopper but Ive got to say, this place has a lot of stuff packed in it. The staff is always friendly and helpful and the prices are good. I find myself stopping here first. They also offer a 10% military discount!

Store has a great selection in every department but the real rightist makes this store such a great place is the friendly knowledgable staff. Someone generally greats you aas you enter and either points you in the direction of what you are looking for or will go as far as to walk and show you. The ladies behind the register always seem in a good mood and seem to enjoy their job.

Selection is great but other issues. Itd be nice to have a pen or pencil handy in the loose screw and bolt isle. Its difficult to write down what you want to purchase without one.

Ace may not have everything the huge stores have but what they do have is excellent customer service unlike the Other stores!
