On 25 May 2021, I had two movers move items from my home to a storage unit. The movers were very respectful and professional but I did have issues with the quality of work. The storage unit wasn’t packed appropriately leaving lots of spaces that could have had items or boxes. When I told them there was room they said they didn’t want to stack boxes too high, but there was definitely space. I’ve had 2 men and a truck move the same items into a storage unit for me with no problem. They couldn’t even move all the items I had asked the company to move. I had to go back to the storage unit to reorganize and pack the rest of my house into it (it all fit with no problem once I moved things around). They also stepped on my grill to try and put kayaks towards the back of the unit (where I initially said there was room previously). The kayaks were thrown to the back because they had already packed the whole unit poorly. They also stacked heavy items on boxes marked fragile. There were also large boxes stacked on small boxes that I had to fix once they left. I paid $1k for 6.5 hours of “work” that I had to spend 4 hours fixing. As I said previously I used two men and a truck and they did it in half the time/half the price.

This move was the best move I’ve had in a long time. Andrew, Ray and Shane had great work ethic! They keep it moving even using the elevator. It made my day go so smooth. They didn’t break anything and they communicated with me throughout the whole move. Because of their service I would have no problem with Motivated Movers again and I would definitely recommend them to family and friends as long as they work as well as Andrew, Ray and Shane work together.GigiPanama City Beach

Stealing, lazy, unprofessional movers!!!First off my wife has jewelry missing after using them to move our stuff. If that’s not enough to steer you way, I paid almost $800 and they didn’t even get all of my stuff. There’s enough left behind that I have to go rent a uhaul and finish up myself. It seemed the guys were more worried about getting to lunch than they were about getting all my stuff to my new house. Also they try to overcharge you for the driving fee. It’s suppose to be $70 flat fee. When it came bill time they tried to add in the drive time to told move time and said “I will take 15 minutes off the drive time because I stopped to get a drink.”If you want your belongings stolen and your job unfinished then pick this company.

Tanner and Jarvis worked diligently in the intense heat. We have moved several times and Motivated Movers are by far the best!

The movers were so friendly and helpful in every way. They had to disassemble and reassemble a king sized bed. They offered their services without being asked. They made sure the items were secured in such a way that the items were delivered without incident. They had to use an elevator which created some maneuvering through doorways. All 3 of the men were cordial to me and my family and I would recommend this company without any reservations. I wish I could remember their names but I am sure this is the quality of services they offer always.

Called, told them I had a refrigerator to move from bottom floor to middle floor, up stairways. They asked if it was a built in, I said no..just a regular size refrigerator. (21 CF) I hired them because myself and another man had trouble the day before getting it up the stairs. I paid 1 hour of drive time and 1 hour of moving time (around 280.00) they showed up with a man and a woman...neither being very large...so I thought they must have some learned tactics dealing with refrigerators that I did not, and they began the move. An hour later the refrigerator is still on floor 1 and they are leaving, asking I call back next week so they can bring 1 more person. I gave 2 stars only because they were able to get the old refrigerator down from the second floor. But I had to call another company to come take the new one up a few days later.

Put in a order for Saturday for 3pm and received an email at 12:38 Saturday saying I canceled my move except funny thing is I didnt and was waiting at my house for them and they never showed. When I finally got to talk to them Monday they said its because I didnt answer my phone. Sir what number did you call? Blah blah well thats not what number we have on file. Well your people took down the wrong number. Im in the customer service industry and if you dont answer before you time frame I still have to show up to your house. Then if your not there I have to come back during your scheduled time frame.

We have had the worst experience. We had 3 guys complete our job and 2 out of the 3 were not motivated. They broke our Dresser, Mattress, and now we have found that are living room sofas are broken. I have called Rob the manager 2 times, he finally called me back. He was suppose to come look at the broken furniture last Wednesday. Never showed up and never called. I have called back twice since and no response. I am disappointed that no one cares that they damaged countless things in the move. I will be contacting the BBB and Attorney General next. This is an awful company to move!

We used them for our move at the end of March. They broke our dresser, ripped our new mattress, and chipped off the corner of another dresser. The manager came to our house after a bad review and three phone calls and promised they would make it right. He refunded us a little over $100 and said his furniture guy would fix all of it. Here we are in July with broken furniture and no additional refunds for the damage. This company does not deliver quality service nor follow through on there commitments. Next step is BBB and Attorney General!

I experienced 9 moves over my military career and am pretty skeptical of moving companies and movers. John, Josh and Mario exceeded all expectations and handled the job and my furniture with professionalism and pride. They were by far the best Ive experienced.My fears started to ease with the clean appearance of the truck and crew. All three greeted me politely and once the paperwork was completed got right to work. There was no time wasted as all three were constantly engaged. Not once did they stop for a break and none of them even looked at a cell phone.They seemed to be having fun and took excellent care of my furniture. Nothing was damaged in any way.All costs were explained up front and there were no surprises. The cost was extremely reasonable for the service provided. If I ever need anything moved I will be using Motivated Movers and John and his crew.

Amazing experience compared to 2 Men & a Truck... The Motivated Movers moved 3 large items for us, one of which was a 2k+ pound safe which they moved with ease! They showed up on time. We used Motivated Movers for the first time and was extremely pleased with them. From the moment they backed into the drive until they pulled out Aaron and Shawn worked nonstop. They packed our house and unloaded it into our storage pod in less than 3 hours. These young men were very professional and had great attitudes. There were a joy to be around will absolutely use this company again.

Tim, Brandon, and Chandler were very professional and got us moved out of our home quickly today. We are moving from our home to an apartment temporarily for Hurricane Michael repairs to be made and they got us moved out and in, in about an hour and a half. They were kind, professional, and punctual. Motivated Movers was recommended by a friend and I am SO GLAD I used them. I would give them more than 5 stars if I could. Logan and Major were extremely friendly and indeed motivated during my move. They loaded the truck and unloaded very quickly. They wrapped the furniture, handled my fragile items with care, and were the most polite young men that I have met in quite some time. The prices were the absolute best. They also gave us a military discount. Terrible! Please take the time to read this review, as it may save you money. These people are not honest and are not a reputable business. I gave one star, but would like to give them negative five stars.PROBLEM 1: I asked the movers to take special care of one specific item. They damaged this one item! I asked them what happened and they gave me the run around - oh its not our fault because x,y,z... I asked them to take pictures and make a claim. They took pictures, but I never saw them file any claim or give me any paperwork. Ive been waiting and havent heard anything from their claims department. I had to call them, but havent heard back.PROBLEM 2: They attempted to steal from me. The drivers gave me a courtesy call at 8:45AM saying theyd be to my location in 15 minutes. I was charged for this 15 minute travel time and then for fifteen minutes of travel time once they left - this was to be expected. When I was given my bill, the driver who was filling it out said that the move was from 8:45AM to 11:15AM. But they didnt show up to my house until 9AM. I asked why I was being charged for the extra 15 minutes, his response was that it was part of the travel time and that charge cant be taken off. What he said was partly true. They do charge for travel time, but that was a separate fee as indicated on the bill. He was trying to charge me for the travel time twice. I called him out on it and he changed that he didnt show up to my house until 9AM, which reduced the amount of move time by 15 minutes.PROBLEM 3: They waited until the clocked moved into the next fifteen minute interval before removing the final box from their truck. There was just one box sitting on the truck that they didnt offload so they could charge me for fifteen extra minutes. One of the workers sat around doing nothing until the clock read 11:01AM and then he pulled the box off of the truck. He had me look at my clock to show it was past 11AM and let me know they would have to charge for an extra fifteen minutes.

Truck would not crank after my storage unit was unloaded...have been waiting nearly 3 hours for a service truck ...manager could not be reached, its Sat. At 2:15pm with no resolve on what they will do...they have time to get another truck here, no one seems to be looking into this optionI changed my review from 1 star to 4 stars, they were able to crank the truck and get me moved before the rain, the movers did a good job and they did not charge me for the 3 hours the truck was broke down.I would recommend using these guys over other 2 guys that charge a much higher amount on the weekends

This was the best choice I could have ever made. I needed muscle to load a truck for me and these guys were top notch! Josh, Jack and Germon are the best. They had three jobs that day and still showed up to get us loaded. Josh is the best and keeps his crew motivated, no pun intended. By far the best crew. Service was very professional. John, Cody and John were very respectful and helped us move into a storage unit. They were very punctual; very careful and quick and STRONG! They took the time to wrap and protect our furniture. Their prices were very reasonable for the time and effort involved. We gladly fed them and tipped them since they were working so hard. We will definitely recommend and use them again.

My company used Motivated Movers to help relocate our office equipment and furniture to Tallahassee in January 2019. They were not only reasonably priced, but they were professional too. The whole process was much easier than I expected. Theyre a one stop shop. No hidden fees or ridiculous out of town fees to move to TLH. The two young guys they sent to help us were John M. and Chance. They were fantastic!! I would request those two guys in particular for any future moves. I cant say enough good things. I saw the Motivated Movers truck at Walmart and the guys were collecting donations for Toys for Tots. I was immediately impressed with their friendliness and professionalism.
