This place is beautiful and has SO many extra things that your average supermarket doesnt have. Like an Olive Bar or International Cheese selection, like shown in photos. It makes it feel more than just a market... its an experience!

What’s going on with this location?! Everytime I go the prepped food section is out of a lot of items. This is also the second time I’ve gone and they are putting everything away from the salad bar and hot bar. It was only 6:20pm! I used to work at the Whole Foods in the south loop back in the day so I know how it runs. The location in Lakeview is amazing and unfortunately looks like I will have drive out much further just to get the items I need. This location is not managed or stocked well in the prepped section. Seafood wasn’t looking very fresh either. Some fish had cloudy eyes. No thanks. I’ll pass.

I wanted to reflect on my experience for 24 hours before I decided to post this review. I have been to the Whole Foods in Park Ridge several times in the past and yesterdays experience was absolutely terrible. If I could give O Stars, I would.Yesterday around 11 a.m., I was at your location to return a package to Amazon so I went to the customer service desk. As the person in front of me was finishing up and leaving, I approached the counter with my amazon return and phone out with my return scan code ready. The young woman with shoulder length curly dark hair (I did not get nor would I post her name) did not bother to say hello or even look up as I stood there. She started logging into her scanner for what I assumed was the amazon returns app. After some difficulty getting logged in, she scanned my phone and then comments we dont want your packaging to which I was confused and it clearly showed that on my face so she repeats we dont want your packaging and, unfortunately, I still didnt get her point so I said what are you talking about so she points to the half original shipment bag that my amazon order came in. I removed the packaging, leaned around to the side of the counter and dropped it in the trash thinking that would solve the issue and somewhat perplexed that she didnt just do that in the first place.At this point, she gets more agitated and says we cant take your packaging because it has your personal information on it. Now it hit me what she was trying, but unable, to communicate effectively. I leaned back around to look into the trash just to confirm that I had brought the bottom half of the amazon shipment bag that DID NOT contain any of my personal information on it. Of course it did not and, if the young woman would have looked at it for a second, she would have known that this was the case. I chuckled and said have a good day to which she responded you are done.Advice to Whole Foods Park Ridge Management, please do not put employees at the customer service desk who do not want to deal with the customers or do not have the personal demeanor to do so in a capable, effective and polite manner. This negative review could have been completely avoided if the the young woman had just removed the packaging and thrown it away.Id also like to note that the directions on the Whole Foods Market website under return policy on How do I return Amazon purchases at Whole Foods Market states in item 4:Bring your item to the Whole Foods Market you selected — no need to bring the original shipping box — and locate the return drop-off point either at the Customer Service desk or Pickup & Return kiosk.Nowhere on the website does it say that you will not take the original shipping boxes or packaging or that you are unable to dispose of it appropriately for your customers. Your store either has a local rule that you will not accept original packaging or your customer service representative decided to make up the existence of such a rule yesterday. Whichever is the case, you dont have to worry as I will now return all of my amazon packages and do all of my Whole Foods Market shopping at the location on Cicero Avenue.

While grocery shopping at the Park Ridge Whole Foods this morning, I encountered 2 of the most kind and helpful employees. I really wish I knew their names. Both went over and beyond in customer service. One employee was stocking shelves and noticed I was trying to find something. He approached me to ask if I needed help, which turned into a very kind interaction - very professional young man. In the case that managers review these reviews, he helped me find the yogurt I was looking for on the morning of 9/23. In addition, there was a young women who, as I was almost ready to head out, noticed my bags looked funny and she was afraid they would rip on me, so she asked if I minded if she rearranged them for me. If I remember correctly she had long dark hair, maybe a little curly. I wish I knew their names so they could be acknowledged for their excellent customer service. Not only going out of their way, but their absolute patience and sincerity. I know companies are short on staff - which is hard on both companies and the staff.

This store has good deals, and savings friendly staff. Clean place good choice to shop. Close to Chicago.

The Park ridge whole foods store is a great location to find unique and healthy food items. The staff here are always friendly and willing to help locate particular items or they are knowledgeable enough to provide direction in suggesting some new items. Theyre fresh fish selection is outstanding, the fruits and vegetables are always of the highest quality, and the cheese and wine section is excellent.

Whats happening at whole foods? Stopped going no hot food bar and no pizza bar. Also referred a friend for a job in food preparation she went for an interview was told they didnt need anyone. Also when applying for a job wouldnt the interviewer have a copy of your resume? Saving my money and going elsewhere.

Great looking store, Bakery department made me want to buy more than I wanted lol. Very well stocked. Cashier was above average.

Unpleasant all the way from ordering the pizza with the female employee in prepared foods to getting the 1/2 cooked pizza home and discovering the dough was still raw is some parts. I called up to let management know and he basically talked very fast and talked over me. He definitely sounded like he had better things to do- Whole Foods has gone down substantially- they have rude employees on the phone and rude employees in the store- I wasn’t expecting this- I was shocked. I won’t shop here anymore. This goes back to a manager that just doesn’t care or understand what his job is and “how” to do it with INTEGRITY! This is why food chains fail- getting in the wrong managers that cannot manage.

Love this location so much but again I love Whole Foods so much. Normally I shop for liquid death water because it’s rare these days.

Just change the young pizza guy who s wearing a winter hat all the time. I ordered a pizza … he was wiping the floor… after he finished, he didn t wash his hands and start making my pizza. That was disqusting!!! We loved Whole foods pizza but never buy again from Park Ridge location

Customer for the food minus three stars for the help?These employees believe they are the ultimate server of mankind and when you have a small problem you need five big employees to put their little heads together to come up with the wrong solution three or four times!!!Brought back a box of smashed candy shipped my UPS with no cushion inside and the label on the side so you had to turn it over and then spell on the contents through on the container you pick it up and rattled I brought it back it should have taken 10 minutes 5 minutes 15 minutes an hour and a half later I will still arguing with these people and then I started taking pictures then the manager acting manager acting somebody got the job done in three minutes flat!to go there every day you need to be a doctor because if you dont have patients will never make it! 🏴‍☠️

We love Whole Foods! Everyone here is friendly and very helpful. The people behind the meat counter always know what the perfect cut for “you” is, they give great recommendations. When I have called in the past the people answering the phones and checking for the product(s) I need are always very kind and go above and beyond just to help you (this goes for multiple stores!). We come here specifically for the meat, produce and healthy options. You may pay a bit more but you get much better quality.

I am really enjoying shopping from whole foods in Park Ridge. But this Sunday we went with my husband and bought a big wild caught red snapper. It was the most flavorless thing I have ever taste. Ive been eating fish my whole life and I know for sure that it wasnt a wild caught. We are really disappointed.

I consider it one of the best Whole Foods Market I have ever been to. Staff is amazingly friendly and the “fix yourself a plate with an amazing mix of very tasty and fresh food” is a huge plus.

Salad bar was pathetic. Hardly any items on it, no dressings other than cups of ranch or Caesar. Why take out the dressing dispensers? Those using the salad bar are touching the tongs anyways.

I loved this location of Whole Foods. Visiting from New York it was fun to shop in a store that was familiar and yet offered a different variety of products. The store also has great art such as the cardboard swordfish and beer tap chandelier.

Wonderful place to shop. Large variety of specialty items. Their cloudless chocolate cake is the same as home made. Great for Thanksgiving.

Selection seems a bit limited compared to other whole foods locations. Ive ever been to a whole foods and theyve been out of stock of French banquette. Also, its disappointing this location does not have prosciutto.

I like this wine shop so much. Last week, I went to this wine shop to buy some bottles of wine. I got amazed by the wines that have been displayed in the wine rack. It was a massive wine they had. I will surely visit this wine shop again.

Food is definitely more costly than Jewel and Marinos but the quality is exceptional! Have never had to wait outside in a line to enter a store. Not sure if this was due to the Covid situation. The negative was not a big variety of pre packaged foods and frozen products. Just the whole foods brand.

Buyer beware. For the past 3 or 4 weeks we’ve bought yogurt and cheeses that were visibly moldy or gone bad when we opened the packages. This issue has been with 365 branded items, but also with other brands. They were not expired, nor were they sitting in our fridge forever...I’m talking a day or two at most before we opened them.There has to be something going on with how this store is handling it’s refrigerated goods. Yes WF has a generous return policy but it also sells itself as having better quality. This store’s refrigerated section needs some improvement.

Great grocery store.with wide variety to experience. From Organic to conventional. Prices range from inexpensive to high end. They have whatever your looking for. Produce, deli, bakery, meat section, seafood section, cheese department, wine and spirit and many more.Helpful and quick staff.

Humiliating. While checking out, I had brought my own bag. The cashier asked if I wanted to donate my bag. I said I did not understand. Cashier repeated the questiom and said, You know how this works, right? There were other people waiting to check out and I just wanted to take my THREE items and leave. The cashier would not let it go! I said, I just want to pay for my items and leave. She laughs (!!!) and says do I want to save $0.10 or donate to the schools and LAUGHS at me, saying, This cant be your first time here. It was not, but it was my last time.

We always trust wholefoods quality and service.we had a bad experience today when we go there.we got expired organic all purpose flour and it super costly than others.wholefoods has to understand people trust wholefoods for quality even though the price is higher than other retaileri am not sure about the intention of wholefoods like it is trying to sell al expired products to customer.very bad experience and no sorry from the customer care and the billing counter lady is also not that polite.i lost the trust on Whole Foods.so cheap quality products by saying it is organic.

I guess the main reason I like this whole food is because I am so familiar with where each item is! Whatever I need I can just go to it. And staff are really helpful and that’s pretty much the case in all wholfoods!

Just ask for 6 oysters and could they be shucked. Pretty sure it’s a service they provide. At 630 pm on 5/8/19 the seafood guy said, “I guess but it will be 45 minutes. I’m planning on going to lunch soon.” What? Is seafood shut down for 45 minutes. Not the first time I’ve seen this lazy attitude with little customer service.

Just so you know ... I used to like this store till one visit I saw some good organic apples in a trash bin in the fruits and vegetables isles. I thought that someone made a bad joke throwing those good apples in the trash, but when notifying one of the store workers, he told me that they threw those because they were not perfect (had some small scratches). I was shocked and very disappointed knowing that they market themselves as : We respect our environment and recycle, reuse, and reduce our waste wherever and whenever we can. We seek to balance our needs with the needs of the rest of the planet through the following actions: Supporting sustainable agriculture.

I just dont get it, how hard is it to have General Tsos Mock Chicken (or any other VEGAN soy chunks option) available at all times? I mean if you didnt sell out in 1-2 days it doesnt go bad, besides, you have actual chicken available all the time right? So why not Mock Chicken/ soy nuggets? I live in Park Ridge and have to go to Deerpark or Schaumburg locations for it, this is just crazy! Before there used to be 3 different flavors, ok I get it you had to only leave 1 for whatever reasons (maybe wasnt as popular), but even this 1 flavor you cant keep available at all times???

The experience was good, though I received a stare from a young man behind the butchers counter while I was getting my bearings in a store not visited before. Had an outstanding meal from the food bar... but the jewel in the crown was our handling by checker Nicole: so friendly as she shared her experiences with the stores product while all the time seamlessly and efficiently bagging our bundles. Kudos to Nicole!

The Whole Foods at Park Ridge is easy to access, has ample parking, and well stocked selection. I know that some people have issues with whole foods, but this place is great. They have a good salad bar that normally has items that my family enjoys. Some items are a premium price but many are worth the extra few bucks.

What more can I say. Best place ever. No matter what I’ll always love this Whole Foods.

Store Manager David Stone went the extra mile for us! I live out of town and missed a family funeral. So, when I needed something for my dear aunt, it is refreshing to see a manager who will go the extra mile to make it happen.
