Good food, generous portions, clean facilities and a friendly staff. Definitely going again.
Wow, amazing Filipino food in Parkersburg! I ordered online through their website and it was at my hotel within 30 minutes. I got the Beef Caldereta (extra spicy) with fried rice and pork BBQ on a stick with pansit noodles. I’m stuffed (a lot of food for the money) but wanted to try a couple things. Thank you to the business for a wonderful meal!!!
Amazing food! Strongly recommend their sweet and sour chicken.
Very good Filipino food served in a nice environment! You would not expect to find authentic and delicious Filipino food in Parkersburg, but you would be wrong. The meals were very well prepared and portions were generous. The service was very pleasant and the tables and chairs very clean. They also have a smaller location in Marietta, OH by the river which is just as good.
Always delicious and satisfying. The owners and staff are courteous and the restaurant is both cozy and clean. Highly recommended!
Food was amazing. Needed something quick yet fulfilling after getting my vehicle worked on and before heading back on the road so this was a nice surprise to find some culture in a small town.
I grew up eating filipino food and havent had much since i graduated high-school. This place makes adobo exactly how I remember it being as a kid. There was a few dishes I felt was under seasoned and some that were over seasoned. But the flavor for the most part was there. Customer service was great and they always were sure to check in on us. The overall experience was pretty good. The prices i feel were a bit high for the amount served but still fairly reasonably.
I love this restaurant. Lots of choice, the menu is written on the walls in both languages. The workers are really really friendly. I highly suggest the Ube ice cream ( purple yam). The halo halo is ALOT should bring a friend to eat that, didnt especially care for the beans in the bottom of it but thats just my opinion.
I was one of the first customers, when Daniel opened years ago. Glad to see they are growing and still serving great food.
Finally got to try this place out and was not disappointed. Called a friend who knows whats what when it comes to Filipino food and she steered me towards the Adobo Chicken and the Lumpia. Delicious! Make sure you give them a try. Will definitely be back.
Music was a little loud for my taste but it was rather good! Thought prices may ne a bit much, but when you see the size of portions it makes sense. It was really good.
Wonderful. Staff was nice, friendly and polite. The food was amazing as well. The prices seemed generous for the portions given. The food was prepared well enough to keep all the heat as I took it back to my Airbnb 10 minutes away. The quality was great as well. Never having Philippines food, it was a great first impression. I had the curry burrito, and their execution of it was wonderful. Being someone who loves curry, it felt like theyre not afraid to try new combinations to appeal to a wider audience. Will definitly be back to try the more authentic items before I go home.
Excellent food and service. Seafood paella is amazing!
Discovered this gem while searching for places to see @Parkersburg, WV. Timing was great because we were hungry and it was lunch time when we arrived around area. Checked them out online and the food looks pretty good. I read that they operate a Food Truck and they do fairs and such. The location we went to is a brick and mortar Filipino Restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. The place is cute! The ambiance feels very Pinas like. It is very intimate but could easily seat about 40 (preCovid-19) and maybe about 26 or so nowdays inside... but they do offer more seating outdoors. The service is friendly and the place is clean. Their bathrooms are immaculate👍... my husband said you can eat in there 😆.Anyway, we ordered the Ube and Mango Milkshakes to drink... 2 of my older boys got Pork & Chicken Siopao, the rest of us got the combos... Hubby got the Spicy Caldereta with Garlic Fried Rice and Veggie Lumpia, I got the Sizzling Pork Sisig with Garlic Fried Rice and Pork Lumpia plus a bowl of Pork Sinigang and my other son got the Chicken BBQ with Pancit and Pork Lumpia.Portions are good, pricing is fair and the wait is reasonable.Everything tasted AUTHENTIC & DELICIOUS.We were extremely impressed that after a quick drive around Parkersburg, we came back to have desserts to go! 😆All my boys had Mango Ice Cream and my husband and I shared a serving of halo-halo and Banana Roll ala Mode with Coconut (macapuno) Ice Cream. That was delish! We inhaled everything!!!This place is AMAZING! I wish I lived closer!Totally Recommend! Two Thumbs Up👍👍Mabuhay! 🇵🇭
First time eating here. It was so good, I wanted to go back the next day! I had the pork adobe with potatoes that came with rice and noodles (I got half and half), and little egg rolls, and a drink for $9.95. Plenty of food. Very pleasant waiter. Posting the pic is making me have cravings for it again. 😛
Great to know there is a quick takeout place for good Filipino food on I77 in West Virginia. Authentic and delicious. Also the restaurant is nicely decorated and very clean. The usual favorites here plus desserts. Also they have packaged snacks from RP if you want some supplies for the car. All in all a super find. I will always visit here when traveling south from Cleveland.
Cant beat the service... the food is awesome.... great for a night out to eat.. food is always great!... I look forward to eating there as much as I can
SALTY FOOD... NOT AUTHENTIC FILIPINO DISH. I ORDERED THE PORK ADOBO, AND WAS HAVING A HARD TIME FIGURING OUT THE TASTE AND TEXTURE OF THE DISH. ALSO SERVER WAS NOT HAPPY TO BE THERE... I will update my review on my next visit... Pancit bihon was ok though.
Quick service pleasant and space, worth the trip from anywhere for desert, halo halo. The most improbable conglomeration of ingredients that is surprising unique and wonderful.
Excellent food, interesting menu make a return visit a must. Sit outside or inside. Has beer. Nice staff. More people need to know about this place. Second store in Williamstown at the boat launch.
If you havent tried it I recommend you give it a shot really good food
Excellent place to visit and enjoy Filipino food.
Very good food that is completely different than what offered in this area. I love the fact that they have an adventurous menu too.
Delicious food, fast and friendly service.
My girlfriend and I are in town visiting her sister and she has been raving about this restaurant for weeks. I have to say the food didnt disappoint in the slightest. I got the Beef Bisteak with noodles and I couldnt recommend it more, incredible restaurant, friendly staff, overall perfect experience!
Wonderful and Very nice staff. I will be coming back more in the future!
Great food love it everytime we eat here
The lady love wanted something to eat and we decided on this eatery. We have come here before with our kids but this time it was a pick up to dine at home. The decor is a fun area as the chalk boards on the wall are lined with the menu, some daily specials, and some ways to say some interesting words in Philippines language. I keep wanting to use the words but forget to take a snap shot. And when I walked in today, I found out that this restaurant has a buffet! I wanted to stay and dine but had to take the order to go. Next time...Great smells great you,the food is delightful to the taste buds, and it is close by. A good try for a differing taste from the fast food of the USA.
The food was good and the service was excellent. The cook looked upset because my friend was not at his seat when the food came sizzling out on an iron tray. Four minutes later he asked where my friend was because his food was getting cold. I told him he was in the bathroom. We laughed about it so hard on the drive back to Charleston that I almost drove off the road. My friend ate a lot of food from the Philippines growing up and he proclaimed this restaurant to be very authentic.
One of my favorite go to places to eat. Ive been coming here since the first week they opened. Ive tried the majority of the dishes here and none have let me down. Go on a buffet day and try something different, or through the week order whatever the special is until you find something you really love. You wont be disappointed. Last trip I ordered my favorit, pork adobo, rice and beef egg roll. Throw that delicious sauce all over it thats used for dipping egg roll and its even better. Will keep coming back.
Very good food.
Really great people and really great food.
The food was delicious. The servings were huge. The service was great. Lots of options for ordering and they had alot of Phillipino snacks, staples for cooking and drinks as well that you can purchase. We will definitely be going back again.
The food was good the service was slow the dessert was fabulous the restaurant was cleaning social distancing was observed it was a good experience never had Philippine food before its different try it
Excellent food! Very clean environment and polite staff.
One of the best places to go to eat if you’re visiting in Parkersburg, the dishes are unique with tons of flavor. The people that run the place are fantastic as well.
Food is good a bit over priced though
Good food. The place is clean and family friendly. Prices are very good.
Wonderful food and enjoyed the atmosphere of the sit down dinning part.
Great food that was very tasty.
Friendly people pretty good food
Always great food!
Food is always fresh, and the staff is always friendly. A true little gem in Parkersburg!
Some of the friendliest people run this place, the food is always great when we go and weve never had an issue. The fried rice here is the best. 10/10.
Very good food with lots of flavor. Excellent service.
Alsome
This has become a popular meeting spot for me and my friends after shows and performances. The buffet had something for everyone interested in trying something new and exciting. The ice cream flavors are absolutely delightful and I always get the one with the extra funny name. I forget what it is called now but you’ll know it when you see it.
Finest spot to grab something when in a hurry. The customer service is speedy, rates are affordable, fantastic vibes. Will come visit again
The man running the front was very nice. However pretty much all the food was cold. Not bad flavors however.
This food is excellent. The waitress very helpful since it was my 1st time eating Filipino food. Youll never wanna eat Chinese again after eating here. It has its own distinctive taste. I wish they were open later, but hopefully in the future. I found my new favorite restaurant.
Great Filipino food! Wonderful people. I drive from North Carolina to Michigan often, and I ALWAYS stop at this great restaurant. Daniel is great! There are actually two locations, one in Parkersburg, WV and one right next to the Williamstown, WV boat ramp. To find the Williamstown location, enter the Williamstown, WV boat ramp into your GPS.This new location is right off the water. Fresh air and outdoor games. Chelsea is wonderful! -- Joe and Jenny
Always fresh, delicious, and a great value.
This place is the best. The guy opened the door up 2 minutes early with for my brother and I on lunch break. He also had this infectious smile and greeted us kindly with a little small talk. The food is to die for!!!! If this place had more advertising it would be world wide!
Great cozy place . Friendly service and amazing food.
Best place ever
A great place with great food to offer! The food is pretty good and they have plenty to choose from off the menu. The staff is very friendly and the prices are reasonable. Has a dining area with a fair amount of seating when eating in. Has a calm and clean atmosphere overall. Would recommend if you havent tried it yet!
Maybe I hit a bad night. Servers seemed flustered, buffet food was dry, looked like it was reheated. I thought the prices were high for quality and service
One of my favorite places in town. Authentic flood that has a taste all its own. Get adventurous with the menu - its worth it, especially if Chopsticks is cooking. Love that this place is doing well. Hope its there forever.
Pinoy food in the middle of nowhere. A buffet on top of it. And great food. Plus dessert. Clean, great staff. Not to pass up.
Always great food and friendly service. Buffet is always fully stocked with fresh food. Look forward to eating there every week. A trip to this restaurant feel like going home. I highly recommend that you visit Philippines Best food for great food great service and great atmosphere.
Unique place and awesome food. It seems familiar till you taste it. The fried rice is actually fried and the noodles are really tasty. Nothing is spicy at all. Ive tried all the dishes on the lunch menu and I keep going back. Sweet and sour plate is my fav!
Ive been coming here since it was a one room kitchen. The owner is a super friendly guy and takes great pride in his craft. I have never had a bad meal here. The prices are low compared to the quality and he does not want you to leave hungry.
Really good food cooked to order. Scratch made. I have never had a bad experience. They also get A ratings on health inspections. That’s more than you can say for most places to eat in town.
Growing up partly in the Philippines and having a mom who cooks authentic Pinoy food, I am a hard critique when it comes to Filipino restaurants in the USA. After traveling across the country I would say surprisingly, Parkersburg has a gem on their hands. This restaurant has surpassed my expectations on authenticity and similar tastes as my mothers cooking, but with an added touch of Americanized dishes as well. Definitely, will return to visit.
Very small and cute place. The food is amazing. It originally started out as a food truck and now they have a sit down restaurant. I love eating here.
The portions were large and the food was great.
Service was friendly and helpful. The menu is easy to understand and the atmosphere was great. I wasnt crazy about the dish, but Im willing to to try again. Not the best value, but not bad. Most of the menu is around $12 without a drink.
Lumpia is awesome! Ive yet to have a less that amazing meal here. Super friendly staff, clean, great place
Always great fresh-cooked food here. Have been going since they opened and the food is always top notch. They will work with you if you have a certain taste or flavor you like. Definitely worth the stop!
Variety of food.Prices are reasonable.Employees are friendly.Eat in or Carry Out meals.Parking available.
Great service. . great food. Looking forward to going back!
Excellent food, great variety, and very friendly staff. They also sell Philippines grocery items. We will definitely be back.
Very friendly staff! It was quaint with a small buffet of delicious foods. They have a menu but we just chose the buffet. Very pleased. Will definitely go back.
Great food. Hood service. I recommend
This place is great! The food is wonderful and taste homemade, the place is very clean, and the staff is very helpful and inviting. Try the Ube Ice cream its terrific and you wont find it anywhere else.
Friendly and attentive staff. They offer a buffet option, theres about 8-9 variety and a couple dessert. We chose that option instead of ordering ala carte. Cute place!
Great place for Filipino food! I always eat here when Im in the area.
Nice atmosphere and the owner is friendly. Food was ok. If you havent tried it yet.... give it a go. Always nice to try something different.
Ive never had a meal here I didnt like! The staff is friendly and the weekend buffet is a great chance to try out their food or just enjoy a good meal. If you havent visited, you have missed out on one of the best restaurants in Parkersburg!
Great tasting food. Buffet little pricey, but this was my first time eating such food so I wanted to try everything. I still have curry smell with me.
Always a great place for lunch! Tastes so good and cant wait to visit the new location! It looks great. Fairly priced for what you get.
The food was phenomenal, the atmosphere and service were very charming. I will definitely go back.
Simply put, Phililppines Best is an extremely homey and cozy establishment.More specifically PBF has a wide variety of small touches to make a customer feel at home or at least feel welcome. An example of this is that the restaurant has chalkboard walls and a section of the wall is filled with Filipino phrases.Another aspect that helps with the cozy atmosphere is the buffet option and it being in the middle of the dining area. It too acts as an invitation to try something new and gives inexperienced customers plenty of options as well. It being in the center also helps by not making customers have to squeeze past each others tables to reach it.I have not tried all that PFB has to offer, but I really want to go back because of the homey feeling the restaurant gives. Also the food was delicious, so that helps.
