Such a unique store with an awesome variety of merchandise! im living on my own for the first time, and i was able to find furniture and decor for excellent prices and they were in perfect condition! prices decrease on items by 1% every single day, making for amazing deals!! i definitely recommend checking this place out if youre on a budget, or even just in search of a little adventure!

Im sorry to say, I have been going, & have bought several things. Today I was there and asked the clerk, a question, about a grandfather clock that was there, since Dec. I didnt have my cell with me,to take a pic I wanted to know what the price would be. She was rude and told me she could not help me without a barcode??? Not having any interest in helping me. I had a figurine I was going to purchase. I always had a helpful & wonderful experience there. She needs not to work at this store, not customer service material. I dont know her name, but she was wearing a pink shirt & white sweater. This was Saturday 2-13-21 ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️ to bad!!

Beware the staff is snippy about you wearing your mask over nose when in the store. Claims the states gestapo now comes in to check under threat of closing them down if find any violations. I still cant believe we are living in America!In the past I have bought an antique bookshelf, solid oak coffee table, & end table here in very good condition & quite reasonably priced. With new furniture as high as it is, always pays to check this store before you spend lots more anywhere else. Its kinda like a garage sale/thrift store combined. If youre on a low budget to furnish your place, always worth a look around here first.

Interesting selection, clean store, and the prices seemed reasonable. . . but check your bill before paying! The cashier asked if I wanted a receipt (Im guessing most people dont?) and when I reviewed it later, I was over-charged for most items. All items have a sticker with a starting price which is then discounted 1% per day, but my receipt did not reflect the correct starting prices. Ill be back, but watch closely when items are rung up.

Have gotten many useful items here. Also I have sold items for store credit which is fun. Love to keep going in looking at the new goodies that came in. Getting a real deal here is quite the thrill. Terrible experience I felt badly treated by a lazy girl who was not willing to bother to make a sale, at all times, it made me feel that she was doing me a favor by selling me $ 200.It was not caps to remove the decorative objects on top of the furniture that you should buy. Of course I refused to remove them so as not to break anything.I left without buying.Do not waste your time there, there are hundreds of equal places with pleasant service.

I love this little store and the young woman who works there is such a delight and very helpful. Good finds although can sometimes be pricey.

It is hit or miss for me, but I love this place. They have all kinds of cool stuff that changes all the time. Just picked up a giant apple and my friend got her item for free! Furniture, artwork, home goods and always a ton of pretty glassware.

Nice selection and great prices. Used furniture so you have to have a little luck and take your time looking. Nice deals though and wonderful staff. Very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.

Seconds City is a lovely consignment store with inventory that turns over on a rapid-fire basis. Ive found some amazing odds and ends ranging from dishes to furniture to jewelry. You never know what youre going to find!

Contacted this establishment before I moved to Belize, to consign items I would not be moving with meEric came over to inspect my items and give me a pick up date. Seeing as how I was not coming back to the States, I gave the store the key to my building and apartment.I NEVER received an inventory list as to what they took, or any form of contract on how they would pay me.Virtually one year later, I called THEM to inquire about the account, and was told they had $261.00 due me. I didnt feel comfortable with their claim, especially since I knew they had taken a 55 flat screen, smoked glass 3 tier tv stand, and various artwork, along with a 75 year old cedar chest.During Erics visit, he remarked that a 24 x 36 lighted & animated Margaritaville Tequila sign was very cool and he might buy it himselfTo make a long story short, DO NOT UNDER ANYCIRCUMSTANCES TRUST THESE PEOPLE.

Usually stop by every other month or so. Today I found unusual treasures in 6 small various nationality Santas in perfect condition with 50 0/0 off. Great buy.

I needed to get rid of all of my furniture. I emailed several consignment shops photos and information about my pieces. Eric immediately got back to me, set up a time to come look at my furniture and we were able to schedule a pick up on a day that worked for me. I was so impressed with the level of professionalism, flexibility and general ease of working with Eric and his team. I cannot believe how easy Seconds City made this move for me.

Ive purchased many beautiful items here. And since the pros outweigh the cons as far as reviews about this place, that should tell you something! Everytime I visited, I received courteous service from staff members with no issues! To each their own. Personally I had a wonderful experience and will continue to buy here.

I have been consigning with them for several years now and they are the most upfront and honest people I have dealt with in the industry. I have recommended them to many friends and family. They have all had the same great experience with Seconds City that I have. And on another note the staff is great and very helpful.

I went to seconds city this past week and i have to say it was an incredible experience. Every employee was so friendly and willing to help. I found so many items at extremely reasonable prices and spent so much less than i would have at practically any other store for the same items. Definitely will be returning soon!

This is a very interesting place for various trips to and fro in between different days of the week .The changes happen daily deals are made .Keeping your eyes on something doesnt necessarily mean that it will be there tomorrow or even possibly later that day .

Just horrible, my friend had furniture sold by them and picked up, they dont tell you of hidden fees for picking up and after all was said and done they made over $100 something dollars and he got $2.00 . just horrible how you treat people and lie

The staff has always been friendly when Ive been there, even when they are very hectic and trying to help several customers at once. Lots of junk to wade through, as with most places selling used goods, but plenty of nice finds as well.

Went in there and treated like garbage by the pot head employee, nothing like coming to a store with your family having to wait twiddling your thumbs at the counter for 12 minutes, then when she decided to come back from her smoke( weed) break was rude,talked to the supposed owner, no help what so ever...better off going into the hood in Cleveland and shopping in a used store. AVOID!

Seconds City is a decent thrift store, most items are clean and undamaged, though they dont seem to get their hands on anything unique. The 1% drop a day makes for great deals, so if youre looking for something and dont mind if its secondhand, thisll be a decent place to look at.

Pretty cool place to visit. I was very surprised to see such a large collection of items from large metal statues to the smallest of trinkets.

Ive used them for years! A unique way to buy used.

Consignors should be ware of this place. They take items by appointment only. You will get only 25% of their low ball estimate and you will not be paid if the total is under $25. The staff will not help you with heavy items or even hold the door for you. You are treated with disdain when asking for a receipt. To be sure, the staff treats buyers differently. But bring something in to sell and they are totally different.

One word - RUDE.RUDE to the buyers.RUDE to the consignors.Ive personally watched Eric who I think may be the owner or someone in management treat people like they are stupid and bothering him....in a thrift shop.....where does this guy think he works ? Wal Mart is a step up.The Manager Michelle is extremely RUDE as well, and it rubs off on the subordinates who all have the same Im so busy demeanor.The prices are high in comparison to what you can pay at 3 thrift shops literally within 3 miles of them.The only way they must be in business is because they prey on the stupid who consign there and accept their measly percentages.What a joke. I wont buy a thing there ever again.
