Saturday morning and it was busier than weekdays, but there was no problem getting in the store, shopping and checking out. They have self service and full service. Even a couple staff to keep the carts off the lot and serve them to shoppers entering the store.

Yesterday I visited the store, the sales on your flyer brought me in. I might have only visited a Safeway once before but that was years ago. The store was very clean and organized. I encountered many helpful employees, a cashier asked if she could help me find something and told me which aisle that I needed. After getting a lot more then I came in there for I made my way to the deli counter. There a lady named Jennifer waited on me. I had explained that I was making cheesesteaks for dinner and wanted the perfect provolone. She suggested many but I told her I wanted a mild one and then I picked out the Primo brand because she explained it had a milder flavor. She asked if the slice size was acceptable and I said yes, then asked if I could try it. Jennifer was spot on and it tasted really good. She also told me about the chicken specials and the extra savings on Mondays, about the sides and rolls as well. I just wanted to say THANK YOU because shes very knowledgeable and friendly and Ill be happy to come back and shop again soon. Lastly, the hubby loved the cheesesteaks and told me to always buy that kind of cheese for them.

All time favorite grocery store. They always got what I want.

I love this store! I always see them collecting and sanitizing the carts on a regular basis...the staff is wonderful, friendly and efficient. I get through the checkout in a timely fashion. The produce is very good and the meat selection is the same....the deli people are very friendly and accommodating...the shelves are neat and well stocked...its my favorite supermarket!!!

This store ALWAYS has a shortage of cashiers. During the day it gets bad, but dont dare go at night thinking you will miss the crowds. After 9pm they only have 1 lane open. I am standing in it now, half way down the aisle with 2 people that have full carts at the front of the line. It is 9:30, and the store closes at 11. It has been 15 minutes and there is no sign of another cashier. This is pathetic. There should at least be a manager that can help ring up when the line gets long.

Great place for fresh vegetables, fruits, and other grocery items...

I live Safeway. From Hawaii to East Coast, Safeway has most what I am looking for my pantry.

Convenient location. Clean store.

Some staff are friendly. Noticed prices are more expensive than Giant Food grocery store which is saying a lot.

I just left safeway in lake shore and the deli staff had a attitude just because I wanted 3 pounds of differnt meat which isnt alot. The last meat I asked for they told me I could get it pre cut and I told them I wanted it fresh from the deli but apparently thats to difficult. The childish girl there had to roll her eyes and have a attitude. Apparently safeway didnt want my 200$ so Ill take it else where next time.

The bakery is amazing and the lead florist is very nice.

Safeway Starbucks is always great. The manager, Karen, is always personable and happy to see her customers. Love getting my drink there. Always good and correct.

I love shopping at this Safeway. Its always clean and the staff is so friendly. The cashiers are so kind to my kids and theres never a huge amount of shopping carts out in the parking lot!One thing I dont like (not enough to take away a star) would be that right in front of the 2 exit doors, one is semi blocked by the ride-on shopping carts because thats where they have to charge. They should just make it one exit door or find a different place to charge them since the front entrance has plenty of room.

Pleasant place to shop. Fairly wide selection and good cuts of meats and seafood. Have been shopping here for several years for my day to day needs and have been very happy overall. There is a gas station out in front of the plaza and I enjoy the gas reward discounts as well. One hack that I like to use is to purchase Amazon gift cards here and get the double reward points instead of just using my card on line. Spending money on Amazon anyway, why not get discounts on my gas when doing so.

Good variety, decent prices, has a Starbucks inside. Only real downside is that cell phone reception is completely dead in most of the store, at least with Verizon.

I found this place to be pricey compared to other Grocery stores in the area. Also selection of some items is limited. Completely out of some products also.

Right out front let me say that all of the people with whom I interacted were helpful and friendly.That said, I didnt enjoy the experience of shopping at Safeway. I expect this was due to unfamiliarity with the store. My neighborhood store changed hands and Im not fond of the changes so I decided to try one of the other area supermarkets.So while Im give it another try Ill likely take a look at another supermarket as well. Ive not settled on this store yet.

I never thought I would call a Safeway a hidden gem. This one seems to have a wife variety of us unique products that I would expect from a Harris teeter or wegmans.

Conveniently located for a quick in and out shopping trip to grab a few things for dinner. Never really had an issue with crowds, which is nice.

Its a clean store. They carry keto and paleo food. They have started to carry grass fed beef but its not 100%. The chicken is all natural and fed 100% vegetarian diet. Its a good start and its close to me. I even have a Starbucks in there

I’ve been shopping at Safeway for a long time. They have great options and the staff is always friendly. Deli is great, and the store is very easy to find your way around. My largest complaint and the reason my review is 3-star, is the bathroom. It is disgusting, and smelled so bad that I started gagging and retching when I walked in. There was visible dirt on the floor, the toilet seat was up, and the soap dispenser was in the sink. Absolutely one of the worst bathrooms I have ever used. Other than this, the store is exceptionally clean and the service is outstanding.

All items we needed for our wedding starting from,our leading international liquor, and cosmetics brands; and an extensive choice of kitchenware, clothing, toys and electrical items,were supplied with this wonderful store.Thank you!!!

I like the Safeway at Pasadena. I was hoping they bgg ad a salad bar . I did a pre made salad on sale 😊 I was happy !The cashier was very nice. She greeted me with a smile and wish me a great weekend.

Safeway has a large number of organic items. They can be found in every aisle. In the midsection they have their O organic and open Nature ground Meats including lamb, bison, and beef. In all of the airport with the processed foods just look for the Big O. They also have a small selection over organic vegetables and fruits. They frequently have sales of the organic fresh veggies and fruits. They have a really terrific selection of liquid probiotic drinks which also are frequently on sale. They do have a limited selection of gluten-free foods also and the Frozen aisle.

Five stars, the staff peeps are coolio. There is this one cashier named Dana who is fairly attractive and pretty nice by my standards. Shes p cool. Might hit her up next time when i go there for milk or something...UPDATE: Dana has asserted dominance by T-posing me into a corner4/25/19They’re great at keeping their items in stock :)

Lowering my star rating to 3 from 5 . purchased a beautiful prime rib roast full 7 bone roast ($$$$) had Trey the butcher prepare it for me and after cooking it found out that he left 5 lb of fat on the roast ( didnt think of examining it before I roasted it because I have been getting them there for years and it has never had this much fat) it was kind of embarrassing for me when I started carving it. when I called him out on it he was very condescending😡

This location has a great selection, but you have to watch the dates on the products. They often have expired stock on the shelves.

Good prices and helpful staff. Place is well kept and always good parking. Bakery is top notch.

Safeway always has fresh products for my family. They have all the namebrand items on my list, & a nice selection of meats. I enjoy shopping there.

The food selection at the place is great- but the bathrooms? ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTING. In the family restroom there is trash everywhere, the soap dispenser has fallen into the sink, there is pee on the seat, hairs on the seat. I can see dirt everywhere! Someone left the toilet seat up and there is what appears to be ROLLED TAMPONS ON THE GROUND. It smells like a dog that has been dead for 7 years in here. CLEAN 👏🏻 YOUR 👏🏻 BATHROOMS 👏🏻

Customer service is dragging on the ground. No greeting, total price not given to me. The manager I see all the time there ( Brian) is just there idling by the counter. Gonna have to go somewhere else now 😒Edit:I’ve noticed changes to the service and the cleanliness. I’ve changed my rating to five because in every department associates have been attentive and nice. The store is clean and stocked accordingly.

First time in a Safeway in 15 years, as Ive lived in Florida...but Safeway is still a top notch supermarket . Everything very fresh, & the aisles were neat & fully stocked...The staff is very friendly.Carole

Typical Safeway. Nothing identifiable as unique. Bread is good. Employees are awesome.

Produce and food is great. Only complaint is they need more registers open.

Id give a 5 star rating if they would stop discontinuing the Signature Cafe Baked Potato and cheese soup and the broccoli and cheese soups. Every summer they get rid of them and I wont spend 1 red cent in there if they cant carry their signature soups. I know when they in stock, I spend about $25 in soup alone. If they do it again this year, Ill start a petition. Just like I did when McDonalds discontinued Hot mustard; they brought it back.

Really over priced! I use to love Safeway but their prices got higher and their selection got smaller. The fruit usually has bugs on them or they look old. I went today for the first time in a few months and I was so disappointed.

Really liking the updated product lines at this store, definitely my go-to neighborhood store. Love the gal in seafood, she always remembers me & my husband. The check out folks are always very pleasant, even when its crazy

Buyer Beware! Keep a running total of your purchases as you shop. Today, after scanning my Safeway card the cashier informed me my total was $40.00. I told her that $22.00 was more like it. After hashing it out for a couple minutes my bill turned out to be $19.00! This has happened 7 times in my last 10 visits! Had I not been paying attention, I would have over paid more than $85.00. How many people just pay what rings up? I have spoke with management? on many occasions. NO MORE! THIS IS STUPID AND YOU CANT FIX STUPID! BYE BYE.................................

Great cost effective shopping

This store used to be good but their bakery goods are very inconsistent now with bread bring too tangy on certain days, and they are using cheap turkey on their sandwiches. You can just taste the difference from the ones they used to make months ago using good meat. I thought all Safeways were like that but the one in Ellicott City is very consistent in quality. This one is going downhill very fast in terms of their deli products. Someone better crack down on the inconsistency or Ill never go back to this one again.

I was disappointed, I offered the racecar cart to my twins, and it was wet and nothing to wipe out off with.I didnt see cookies in the bakery so they could get one individually for my kids, only packaged ones. And....I went in to get freshly made sushi and they dont prepare it there its pre packaged. So.....blah experience for us.

Place is surrounded by people placing food inside of boxes on wheels. Terrifying. But they have Starbucks. Felt safe.

What a very nice store, always clean and well-stocked.. and the employees there are always friendly and professional. Especially the young girl name Alex. The gentleman who works the deli department could be a little more friendlier. Nothing worse than asking to have my lunch meat Chipped, and he rolls his eyes because I now how much longer it takes to chip lunch meat. Im sorry but I had to do it for many of years and never complained about it I still give the store a 5-star rating.. and will always spend my money here instead of going to Giant or other stores

The store is a typical Safeway although I dont know why self checks  havent made it here like they did 10 years ago to the rest of the country.The main problem I have is with some of the staff. Today for example I saw a BOGO sale sign in front of a kiosk of tortilla chips in the meat department that read Signature Brand Potato Chips, 7.75-8.0 oz. I wondered if this was some kind of bait and switch; these clearly werent potato chips and the bags were 9.0 oz each.Stores do this all the time, mismarking sale items thinking youll just let it go or not notice  at checkout and purchase anyway. I asked someone whether the BOGO sale applied to this kiosk of tortilla chips given the things I noted. He said Well, it says Signature on the sign and these are Signature in an irritated/condescending tone of voice as though I couldnt read and wondered why I was bothering him.  I replied, Yes, I know that but the sign says potato chips 7.75-8 oz and these are tortilla chips 9 oz. He did a double take and  then said Uhhh... I couldnt tell you.  That was it.  No let me get you some help, no let me ask someone, nothing.  So I left. This is the second time something like this has happened at this Safeway, and similar things happen often in this area. People in the service industry here routinely act like theyre doing you a favor or making a great sacrifice by letting you shop at their store. I think Ill avoid this place from now on.
