My mother has visited Smart & Final for 50 years and she said “This is my favorite store”

Store is filthy. Floors are dirty and has horrible odor. Will not shop at this location again!!!

Went in to grab a few things. The store was clean, the cashier was courteous and they had all the things I was looking for.

Clean store, good prices, friendly people working there and always willing to help.

In stock, had everything I needed. Reminded me I did not have my madk on. Did not get upset at me. Of course I put it on right away and thanked them for telling me.

I asked for assistance and the employee said she cannot help me because she was working alone with some other employee who was busy. This was Wednesday 12/23 evening around 8:30pm . I had to drive to the one on colorado which had at least 10 employees working . Smart & Final send help over to the store on Fair Oaks.

Basically a nice little store - a little hard to find some items but overall great selection. The thing that bothers me most though is that every single time Ive come in here, I get hit with a prejudicial attitude. Thats something that anyone can happen upon anywhere at any time but for some reason, it always happens here.Im against prejudice toward anyone for any reason but theres another problem that bears addressing. Sometimes, it is those groups of people who feel prejudiced against who actually perpetuate the dynamic when they in turn treat others who are different from them with less friendliness and much more coldness. Theres a sense of entitlement that seems to go along with it too - its annoying, unnecessary and unfair. I dont like being prejudiced against either.

They nearly always have what Im looking for. Asst. Manager is a super guy.

Clean and not too crowded. No waiting to get in on a Saturday afternoon. Well stock with most essential grocery items. My preferred grocer at these times of the virus pandemic.

After trying to buy a mask right now, Andres was very difficult to deal with. As a manager I would be concerned about this employee moving forward... other than that the store is wonderful.

Worst bathrooms. Theyre never clean. Ever.

They are completely stocked and they have exceeded the social distancing thing. Good place to shop and never really packed with people so you can enjoy your shopping experience.

This place is pretty much similar to the Smart & Final on Fair Oaks. I love this place! I just love Smart & Finals because they carry all of the food items I enjoy.

I consistently buy certain products here for huge savings. Coffee, cleaning supplies, food storage containers, etc. I havent always loved the First Street products.Atmosphere is austere, and checkout lines get long.

I have always found what I needed, and the staff is courteous.

The manager of this location, Martine, went above and beyond to correct a slight error. He went out of his way to accommodate my wife who left the store without everything she purchased. Martine personally delivered the items to our home. Thank you for hiring such a great manager.

This particular Smart and Final is small, but yet well stocked. The people who shop there, for the most part, are usually very friendly, as so are the cashiers. Not much to say, about this location; however, its a pretty cool place to stop in and pickup a few things you may have forgotten along the way to or for a special event.

Huge parking lot Great for meeting family to exchange kids. Prices are great too.

The staff are helpful with the exception of one cashier. I asked her about having large water bottle and with an attitude her answer was no. They did have larger water bottles. The store is well organized.

This Smart & Final isnt too big, but it gets the job done if youre hosting a party and need to stock up on supplies. They share a parking lot with a small hardware store, but it never really gets crowded. The only problem is that the checkout lines move a bit slow, but if youre patient youll be fine.

Lines at the check out are always long.

I like Smart & Final becuz they have a wide variety of items in reg & box store sizes. Prices are good & esp if youre throwing a party, this is the place to buy your food & party supplies

Great low prices! Lots of variety of food products. Cashiers were friendly. Store was far busier than I could ever recall in my past visits to this store.

I like shopping at Smart & Final but this store doesnt appear to be that good. Theres another Smart & Final in Pasadena thats in a much better location.If you happen to live towards the east side of Pasadena then youre in luck as youll be closer to the other store by Colorado Avenue & Sierra Madre Villa Avenue|Madre Street.If you happen to live closer to the Fair Oaks Avenue location, you might want to drive to the other store to shop.

Good prices every day, clean, generally good - but downrating because they essentially never actually stock significant amounts of the lead sale items on their weekly flyers and run out very quickly. It is frustrating to get the bait and switch every single time.

Its has most of what I need when I go! Only time when they run out of product is when they give a deal too good to pass up. But I did get a rain check for the product!

Smart & Final on N. Fair Oaks Ave is a great store in terms of price, especially on meat. It is always clean and well stocked with extremely helpful staff.

Good low price. Good quality. If you wanna buy many home goods, there it is.

Its a good place for junk food and soft drinks (theres alcohol, but I dont drink). But, theres not much in the way of produce or vegan items.

This store is conveniently located amd is nextdoor to a true value hardware (or something like it). It has a bunch of restaurant-like cooking pots pans utensils storage and food containers to include sternos and chaffing dishes. The food selection didnt seem to be the best (had to buy 3 pounds of carrots as that was all they had besides baby carrots) and no pie pastry (except in a shell frozen or crumb crust). But they had a bunch of frozen prepared or almost prepared food. I even saw frozen avocado halves (have never seen that before). It is a neat place to look and shop. Im usually shopping at Trader Joes and Costco with the occasional Ralphs or Super King and I find it place has its own uniqueness. It is worth the stop to see this place. Staff are quite helpful and knowledgeable.
