A very good ice cream shop. They have both frozen yogurt and ice cream. Its an artisan style of ice cream. We had the Uber ice cream and the Dole whip frozen yogurt. The Dole whip was spot on. It always brings me back to being at Disneyland. If youre in the neighbors you should stop by. Good street parking and easy to spot from busy Washington Blvd. A real gem!

Bijan, I hope you will consider not always replying to customers who keep your business running with a defensive posture. It seems like from the look of these reviews, you victim shame and tell people whos money keeps you afloat that they are the problem and passive aggressively ask if they tried the flavors of whatever they ordered ahead of time.As a business owner, it is your duty to meet your customers where they are and ask them if theres anything you can do to make up for their wasted money. Offering free scoops is the least you can do, rather than telling them about all your efforts and theres nothing else you can do, hiding under the small business disguise. Small businesses know they are small and make sure a customer is smiling and wants to come back after having a flawless experience at your business. I can assure you, nobody wants to hear excuses, they want to hear that you can offer them a better experience next time, or make up for the past experience that was soured. Please consider what I am saying not as a personal attack but something that could better your work ethic and how you represent your brand off premises.-A concerned local.

This is a one stop shop for all your sweet tooth cravings.I had the Ube and Coconut ice cream and it didnt disappoint. Listen...Im Filipino and we know a little about Ube and Coconut & let me tell you, this is a great pairing of flavors. When I first took a bite I can immediately taste the ube and I thought that it would totally drown out the coconut. But after I swallowed my palette was rewarded with a nice coconut finish...well played.My wife tried one of their chocolate chip cookies. Literally fresh out of the oven. Still warm and gooey with all that chocolatey goodness. She absolutely loved it. She loved it so much that she didnt share. Oh well. Guess I have to get my own next time. Did I mention that they have edible cookie dough? Yes, you read correctly.Will definitely be coming back very soon to try more treats.

Loved the originality of the place. Unique flavors and yummy batters with the scoop. The brownie batter was really good. I was not amazed by the pistachio-saffron flavor (the saffron was too strong for me) but other flavors I tried from my friends were really good.

Family of 4. Got double scoops each, so covered a lot of flavors 😋The pistachio saffron was the best I had ever tasted, even better than the persian ones! The kids loved the ice cream sandwiches and the cookie dough... very pleased. Our new favorite cream place 🍦

The salted caramel tasted a little like banana. Aside from that the quality was great. They have topping options after you get your ice cream and I dont believe I was charged. The waffle cones were made fresh right in front of me. Big plus!

This place is always such a treat. The ice cream is delicious, the flavor combinations are unique and the staff is super friendly and knowledgeable. They even have doggo friendly ice cream which is a super plus.

While I usually have good experiences with this ice cream parlor the one this Saturday made me not want to come anymore. Lets start with the staffs blatant disregard for cleanliness or human life during a pandemic. The guy who was pretty much running the show took a phone call in the middle of my order trying to help with a phone order, not a problem Im patient I can wait, he didnt change gloves after handling the phone. Next he put his gloved hand under his face mask to readjust it, what is the point of a mask and gloves, still did not change his gloves before handling my order. The next part is that a group of anti-maskers came in behind the large line of masked patrons who then proceeded to come to the front of the line, stand next to people while they surveyed the menu then were allowed to come inside without protection putting the employees and everyone who was there at risk. It is a law in the state of CA that everyone in a public space must wear a mask and it is your duty as part of our community to keep your patrons safe in your establishment. Shame on you guys for your blatant disregard for human life.

Bloomfield is probably my favorite of our Pasadena dessert spots! Relatively new, but delicious and innovative. They have everything for traditional ice cream lovers and even vegan frozen desserts that are absolutely delicious. You have to try their cookie dough as well. It is an edible form of cookie dough and comes in both regular and vegan varieties as well. Get yourself over to Bloomfield, a gem of a dessert shop in north central Pasadena!

This shop keeps changing hands every few years, but I really like the newest one. They have a wide variety of desserts including ice cream, fro-yo, frozen custard, and cookie dough... The list goes on. They also have good vegan and gluten free options if you want it. Despite not being vegan myself, I tried the vegan cookie dough and it was very good; it surprised me with how good it was.

Ice cream is great, lines were non existent, and customer service is good. I tried the almond brittle and birthday cake, and both were executed wonderfully. The prices are high, but no different than other small business ice cream shops. Straight forward street parking.

Delicious ice cream!!!! My middle son eats the edible cookie dough - he loves it buts it’s too rich for me. My youngest loves the frozen yogurt with candy toppings. But it’s the ice cream for the rest of us. My favorite so far is chocolate caramel brownie, but I’m looking forward to trying the special holiday flavors. The owners are *super* nice. And the recently added some board games you can play while you eat. My youngest just murdered me at chess while we snacked away.This place deserves a visit — definitely check them out!

This is the place for ice cream in Pasadena. It is handcrafted with the best ingredients. They have soft serve frozen yogurt, custard, and Dole whips. The ice cream is amazing....the almond brittle with chocolate shortbread chunks is great, as is the organic maple glazed butter pecan. They also serve multiple flavors of cookie dough. It does not spoil as it is refrigerated and made with heat treated flour and no eggs. You can also get a combo with ice cream....It is also spotlessly clean, the floors, countertops, and tables are wiped down regularly...Cant miss...

I just love this place. I got the 50/50 which is a scoop of cake batter or brownie batter or cookie dough paired with a scoop of ice cream. Dont feel limited to the ice cream flavors on the board. I got a scoop of chocolate chip cookie dough and a scoop of strawberry and strawberry wasnt on the list. I didnt take a pic of it because it disappeared in my stomach before I could think about it! Lol what makes this place different is their emphasis on dough and batter. So fun!

They have ice cream in many forms here: in a cone, in a cup, in a macaron sandwich (!!!!), in a bar on a stick, etc.I got the grasshopper which was yum. Macaron cookie sandwiches are such a great idea I wonder why it wasnt thought of earlier. The mint ice cream by itself was actually so-so. Red velvet cake was borderline bad.They use a very generous amount of food coloring. One of my friends had the blue velvet cake. It made his tongue blue with the first bite and he said the color really... persists. You can interpret that yourself ;-)

I was doing a dessert run on a weekend when my sister and I came across Bloomfield Creamery as being a hot and new establishment in the Pasadena area. Im not a big ice cream fan, but it sounded pretty good - especially with their assortment of offerings.What makes Bloomfield stand out from other ice-cream shops is that they offer not only ice cream, but cookie dough, ice-cream paninis with house made cookies, and self-serve yogurt. I personally am not a fan of cookie dough, but its nice to have that option if I wanted to be adventurous. A lot of the ice cream flavors are also vegan or gluten-free, making the treat a little sweeter knowing that the ice cream is made from 100% almond milk.I tried several of the ice cream flavors - mocha fudge crunch and the salted caramel with chocolate waffle cone. The mocha fudge crunch was decent, but not tasty enough to want an entire scoop. My sister also wasnt a fan of the crunch bits in that ice cream. She also tried the cookie dough lover as well, but found that flavor to be too sweet for her liking.I asked the workers what they recommended, and one of them said that the salted caramel was her favorite. After trying it, I could see why. Very decadent and flavorful, and the chunks of the chocolate waffle cone added to the overall ice cream flavor. The flavor of the salted caramel wasnt too sweet either. And Im always a fan of little crunchy bits of waffles in ice cream - kinda like getting an extra waffle cone. My sister ended up ordering the kiddy scoop of that flavor on a sugar cone - size was perfect for her. (Waffle cone is an extra $0.99.) Not too much ice cream that she couldnt finish, and not too little that she still wanted more.Prices are on the more expensive side, and the price jump from 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 is 2 dollars, which doesnt really encourage you to get more scoops. Kiddie scoop is $2.90, 1 scoop is $3.95, 2 scoops is $5.95, and 3 scoops is $7.95. Cookie dough is more expensive with prices starting at $4.50. A cookie is $1 by itself, and frozen yogurt is $0.39 or $0.40 per ounce.I was intrigued by their frozen yogurt - especially when I saw that they had Dole Pineapple Whip as a flavor (and its vegan and gluten-free). They offer sample cups, so make sure to grab a few before getting the yogurt. I also tried the cake batter, which I thought was pretty good but a little too sweet for me. The slightly tangy Dole Whip sorbet was perfect - nice pineapple flavor that I no longer have to crave from Hawaii or Disneyland. They also have a pretty extensive toppings bar for the frozen yogurt - fruit, candy, cookie bits, etc.Storefront is nice and clean - longer in length than width. There are several tables inside (with a water station as well) and outside. Workers were really friendly and helpful. They also have a rewards program - not sure if its for yogurt only or all of their products.tl;dr - A very cute new ice cream storefront to pop up in Pasadena. With their assortment of treats, as well as coffee, tea, and milkshakes and paninis and ice cream sandwiches, I hope Bloomfield does well! Theyre located close to Carmela Ice Cream shop, and I can see Bloomfield giving Carmela some competition. Will be back if Im ever craving ice cream or wanting some Dole Whip frozen yogurt.
