I bought a dishwasher back in the beginning of October. I had a great experience at the P. C. Richards in North Patchogue. . There was a salesman who was very helpful when I was purchasing my dishwasher. His name was Jimmy. He was very nice and patient. All my questions were answered and the salesman was not aggressive at all trying to convince me to purchase the dishwasher. I would absolutely return to P. C. Richards and have the same salesman again.

Today, Sunday Aug 15 2010,Why are the salesmen so freakin rude at this location?Today around 4:30 I spoke to a man that identified as Joe, as just wanted some basic information about a product they have in stock. This guy was just nasty, rude and apparently didn’t want to be bothered.So I’ll just take my business elsewhere. And this is not the first time that a person from this store was rude. This time it was in the store, we just walked out.I definitely would not recommend this store.

While Joe D the salesman was great upon delivery the delivery people knocked and broke to pieces a large planter. They noted the receipt and told me to call. I called the number I was given and after being on hold I was told I would get a call back which never happened. The next day I tried again and the same thing I was on hold for a while and then I was told to get a call back and again nothing. Then I called again and Ive decided to just wait on hold someone finally came on and told me he put in a claim and I would be notified in 24 to 48 hours after the status now it has been a week and I have yet to hear anything so obviously being told something by people at PC Richards means nothing.

Jimmy at PC Richard in Patchogue is the best! He listens, he’s super helpful, and does right by the customer. Plus he made my husbands summer by finding a PS5! Can’t thank him enough!

Had a negative experience at a competitor yesterday where I was misled into thinking I could schedule the installation of my device this week just so the salesperson could have me open a credit card and pay for a membership. Our family went to the Tent Sale to check out air conditioners, and we were pleasantly surprised. We found a quality unit made by Frigidaire that was priced fairly so we bought it. Joe D knew a lot about the a/c - we purchased a warranty to go with it. Joe was very helpful & friendly. We then spoke to another rep named Jim Schutte, and he helped us find a quality refrigerator along with a good warrantee which we purchased. Jim helped us by getting back with us about measurements and setting up a delivery date. We appreciated that P.C.Richard would take our old refrigerator and set up the copper water line. Great customer service, quality products and fair prices! (I also purchased a decent oscillating fan for my classroom which was on sale).

Jim was extremely helpful and patient taking his time explaining the features of each appliance as well as the pros and cons of each. We left knowing that our best interests were in mind and was never pressured into making a decision.
