Last minute repair. They took me right away. Polite, explaining what had to be done. Quick service. Totally satisfied.

Not as it used to be. They changed my oil and that was it. Used to be they would change the oil, fill up the fluids, air up my tires etc. It was a full service with friendly mechanics. Now they just seemed to want to you out ASAP. I liked it better the way it used to be.

They should take custom exhaust off the list of services they provide. A simple muffler delete to would normally take 20-30 minutes took 2 hours. First the mechanic took an old exhaust manifold and cut a piece off and was going to weld that into my exhaust line instead of bending me a new pipe. Once I requested a new pipe that’s when everything went downhill. It took this guy almost an hour and a half to get two Bends in a pipe. I’ve been to a lot of exhaust shops before and this was by far my worst experience at one.

Went to several mechanic shops to get exhaust repaired in the past but no one could stop the rattling. Bought it in they were very courteous, Bob and Kenny both took me under the car to show what was wrong and fixed within same day. Highly recommend

This was the worst experience ever! The man was rude. When we got the bill it was way more than advertised. The sign said oil change was 19.95. When we questioned it he told us we had synthetic oil. We asked didnt you tell us this before hand and he replied that people should know this. Really!!? If people knew then we would do our own oil changes. We go there expecting the shop to advise us in advance of anything that would effect the advertised price. He was very condescending and rude. I was told by other people who used this place that they did the same thing and worse. DO NOT use meineke on 112. They will break your car and then expect you to pay for the repairs. They have poor customer service skills and are complete crooks.

Installed a catylitic converter, 02 sensor and did not reset engine codes. Electrical system shut down soon after picking up my car. Car stalled out in dangerous intersection. Had to tow to Honda to fix. Meineke charged over $2,100. Owner Kenny very nasty blamed the problem on me. Avoid like the plague!

Stopped in at 8.00 in morning for exhaust was out by 9.10 muffler and tail pipe very clean and good work bob is a excellent welder

I chose this business because I was able to book for a 7:30am appt. so I got there 7:27am, someone was getting all equipment ready for the day, spoke to me 8 mins later, then had me fill out paperwork, never got back to me till 7:45, I was ready to leave. He got my car in, by 8:05am another person got into the front desk, gave my estimate. I told him I have a coupon and I was told he doesn’t take coupons I have to wait for manager who comes in around 10-10:30am. I was out of there by 8:25am, paid $76 for a synthetic oil change that I could’ve gotten $20 cheaper somewhere else with better customer service. If you’re in a rush and have appointments lined up, you prob should not come here because online appt scheduling is not really followed. Very very very poor customer service.

Got my brakes done here on Saturday. They were very detailed in explaining the warranty and showed us what was wrong with our brakes. I use the car to drive my daughter - Thank you Meineke for taking care of us!

Got my Front suspension done and alignment. Car feels like new. Being a girl I don’t know much about cars but the whole staff explained and showed me what’s wrong and took me on a test drive after the job was done to ensure satisfaction

I have been going to this shop for years, mostly because of the managers honesty and ability to work with people who are not looking to spend more than they have too. The trust was earned since I do know enough about car maintenance to know when Im being overcharged. This has changed. Manager is gone and Im not interested in being a bigger profit margin just because they want to do more unnecessary work for more money. I obviously dont trust the owners. They own the other one on portion road Ronkonkoma and that place robs people blind. Im off to look for another honest mechanic.

Got my AC fixed - they pulled my car in right away and diagnosed my Compressor was not engaging. I have had this problem for 2 years now after 5 different mechanic shops bought it to Meineke and they were able to get it running the same day. Cant thank you guys enough!

I came here because it was recommended to me by my father. He said the owner was fair and honest with you and he was. Went through line by line with me on what I was getting, the price, and how long it would take. And the work they did was awsome! Had exhaust work done and now my f250 is quieter then ever before (I can actually hear my thoughts as I drive now). All and all I had a good experience and will probably think of them next time I need work done on my vehicles.

Listen I took my car to have the rotors and break pads changed in the front. After the service as I was pulling out of the parking lot my back tire flew off the car. They did bare minimum when working on my vehicle.

I called and was able to get in for a front alignment a few hours later. They didnt rush the job and even retuned it after checking how it was riding. Front office staff was courteous and seems to really care about his business. Alignment seems good so far and hopefully it holds up and Ill be back for more work when I need it.

Great staff. The guys take the time to explain in detail what they are doing. Suggestions are recommended for maintenance. No pressure or aggressive sale pitches. I feel so comfortable that these gentleman will guide me in the right direction and not take advantage of my lack of auto mechanics knowledge. Guys told me I had .motor mounts broken when I just replaced them and I drive off get onto the highway and my wheel flys off going down tbe highway and I would never use these guys again as i could of milled someone ans myself abd the guy claimed to be a mechanic well they also didnt do my exhaust donut from harder to pipe and didnt do Mt muffler the waybill asked them to do it

This shop did a good job on my brakes and inspection. The cost of inspection was normal but the cost for the labor for front brake pads was rediculous high i got charged for 2 hours when it took 1hr 15 minutes front pads should have been 45 minutes labor not 2 hours what a joke.

This is the best place I’ve been too for an oil change, the guy behind the counter was very nice, I feel bad I cannot remember his name. But he kept me occupied as I waited for my car, and was great at holding a conversation which was enjoyable because otherwise I would have just sat on my phone the whole time. Service was fast and good and it’s one of the only mechanic places that I’ve been where they didn’t try to swindle me in to buying a whole bunch of unnecessary things for my car or claimed that I needed like air filter changes. I was able to just go in and get an oil change and leave without feeling that they were being dishonest about things “being wrong” with my car. Any time I have brought my car to other mechanics or even the dealership where I get free oil changes, I have been told I need “brake fluid cleaned” or “air filters put in” or a bunch of other things I didn’t really need. So it was nice to not have to call my dad to ask if these things were really needed. So. Even though I get oil changes for free at the dealership I purchased my car through, I’m still going to come here and pay for them from now on because the experience was so pleasant. And on top of all of that, another customer who needed a new battery installed in their came had come in, and even though they didn’t have the battery another employee there went out and picked up the battery for the customer, which I thought was an excellent display of how much they value they’re customers and how willing they are to go above and beyond to be helpful and get people what they want and need. So I highly recommend this Meineke to anyone in the area!

Staff is very courteous and knowledgeable. Work was done well in a timely manner. I was also quite impressed by their honesty. There were a couple of occasions when they could have charged me an exorbitant amount of money for something that turned out to be a minor repair, and I would not have known the difference.For all of the above reasons I would highly recommend this shop.

I will definitely be a repeat customer at this location. I was at Firestone today for an oil change, and they told me I needed to get front and back break pads and rotors. Turns out, didn’t need all of that. The gentleman in the front, showed me why and didn’t try to price gauge me, also gave me available discounts. Thank you so much for fixing my car.

I called for appointment and they took me that day. When I got there they were very nice and professional. They looked at my car quickly and showed me what the problem was and what they were going to fix. They finished on time and the job was done professionally. Not of places care but meineke does!!

I came in this morning to a very warm and courteous staff. I came in for an oil change and realized I needed more work completed. Do not waste your time here. Went for an oil change been here hour and a half still not done. Kicker is, it’s not even busy! And they charge $80 for full synthetic. Oil change should not take more than 30 min

Patchogue location, is very Convenient yet close to me. However, this location has change a lot!!!!!! Its dirty in sitting area, sometimes ants crawling all over, their is one guy who does not care about your car meaning the inside. Every time he does my oil change, I have to truly clean my door handles off, seat, even the seat trining! Yes Im guessing when he gets out of the car he drags his foot and it hits leather trimming of my car. If I have to go to another location I just will do that! MeinekeCarCare is its name and the workers should live by that slogan for real!!!!!!!!!

Brought my truck in on a Saturday morning to have it looked at for muffler noise. As soon as I walked in the door they asked me how they could help me. I did not even get to sit down, when they brought my truck straight into the shop and put it on the lift. They showed me exactly where the noise was coming from and what needed to be done. Then they brought me over to the computer and showed me a complete cost breakdown of the parts that needed to be replaced including labor. No hidden costs. Upfront about everything. I was in and out within an hour. This place is run very efficiently. They did an excellent job on the repair. Highly recommended.

Got my car inspected here. I walked in and it seemed like I was just a disturbance to the man at the desk. He said nothing to me and just handed me a clipboard. Extremely rude and unprofessional. An elder man inspected my car and it took way longer than it should have. Im 100% positive that my car was done but they kept it sitting there. Inconsiderate people. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

During a heat wave this summer my car’s air conditioner started to fail, blowing cold air on only one side of the car. Both my local auto shop and car dealership service department informed me that I would have to wait close to 2 weeks for a service appointment. It was a Friday night And dreading a hot, muggy car all weekend I decided to take a chance on Meineke and made an appointment online for the next day. When I arrived they took my car in right away, diagnosed the cause - added needed Freon, lubricated compressor, honored my coupon and sent me off with a smile and a cold car all within the hour. Would definitely recommend!

Went there for an inspection instead of going to my regular guy only because I was close by. You have to pay whether it passes or fails and they failed me for my e break not working took my sticker I had to walk to an atm and back because they didn’t accept debit/credit for some strange reason, you would think the opposite because of this pandemic we’re in and maybe not charging people for failed inspections in times like these. So I walked away $-40 and no sticker all for an e-brake that they could of easily passed. I’ve had other problems with these people they could careless about you all they want is your $$ and I’ll never be returning back.

The staff at this location are extremely helpful. If you need to be somewhere there usually is no wait time. Highly recommend this location.

I took my car in to have it inspected. The crew presented themselves very well a d kindly and I really thought I was going to have an awesome experience however when i came back the told me i needed rear brakes, calipers, dust boot, and bearings..they wanted to charge me almost 1500 to do this work. Honestly the parts cost at maximum around 300 to fox and have the work done myself. Went in the next day to buy and change the brakes.. turns out theyre no fresh fingerprints on my brake assembly.. meaning none even took my tire off.. thanks thou.

I went to the patchogue location and they were just the nicest set of people I have come in contact with. I wasnt able to get my car fully serviced due to personal reasons however they were very informative and understanding. I will be returning to them.

My boyfriend needed to visit Nissan 112 so I stopped here for an oil change. It was nice and quick, and they told me my back license plate light was out. I couldn’t have it done that day so I left. Went back recently and they fixed it for me, checked all 4 of my tires because of an issue I mentioned, and filled them with air. Didn’t charge me any extra, and I felt comfortable and respected as a woman. Highly recommend this Meineke, nice people

Read all reviews & decide. My mistake was not reading them. Never going back to this establishment. Chance it at your own risk. First time here. Came in for an oil change, coupon in hand $19.99. As soon as the man told me it was more money my oil is special let me check, I should have ran. (Coupon is to get you in the door) He prices the conventional oil change at $29.99. I accepted since I had lots of errands that day. We take good care of our cars and they were recently inspected twice, once by Honda dealer (a few weeks ago) Thirty minutes into oil change, yes I wrote thirty minutes, he shows me a cabin filter with leaves crushed in them and tells me I need back wiper. I declined and told him I’ll do it myself. Atlantic Honda will never let you go without inspection and would have pointed out ( a few weeks ago) what Meineke claimed was wrong. After I left I noticed my cap from rear wiper missing. The man says maybe someone stole it. It was on the CRV when I pulled in. One more thing, there was a screw on floor passenger side. I questioned it and was told they didn’t do anything. It’s nothing. I have a good feeling where that screw came from. Taking truck to Honda to reinspect. Like I said. Never ever will I go to this establishment. First and last.

This place is a joke! DO NOT BRING YOUR VEHICLE TO THEM!! Brought my car to have fuel tank replaced, exhausted repositioned, front hub bearing assembly and 2 new front tires put on. Within a week, I was back at the shop with noises to my front tires and car not starting right. They told me it was nothing, but after they looked at the car, the noises magically stopped. Another week later, Im driving and my left tire just flys off the car into on coming traffic and car smashes into the ground. Called them and they refuse to pay for the damages caused by them putting lugs on too tight. I paid over $2300 with them and they cant even fix a mistake THEY CAUSED. This place is a joke and Id never go there again. Ripped me off completely and now Im stuck paying another $100] to fix damage that should NOT have happened! DO NOT GO TO ANY MEINEKE, THEY SUCK!! TAKE FULL ADVANTAGE OF YOU AND THEIR CORPORATE OFFICE IS RUDE AS HELL!!! If I could put no stars, I would!

I love bringing my car here. The manager is so kind and so nice I never feel taken advantage of with the repairs they perform. Yes the place is dirty but its a mechanic shop, obviously its not clean. I will never go anywhere else.

Tried to use my over 2500points for a free breaks, but its really no free came out almost $600 including labor SMH they saidI need front and rear pads plus rotor in the back, I went to Mavis in Shirley and was different story,. Mavis checked and said I only need the rear break pads for $89.99 and my van is running great after 2 weeks without any problems. Glad I went to Mavis, here attached Mavis bill photo

I went for an oil change and got charged for things on top of that which I never asked for nor wanted. As I left, my tire pressures were low and I took it back to fix and the mechanic gave me an attitude and also said the signal would go away as I drove, but still has not. Very unprofessional and would not go again for the price I was forced to pay.
