This is like a Paterson landmark,Been coming here sense I was kid.Still one of the best ice joints in town,Hands down. The ice cream is great but having the option to mix your favorite flavors into a bomb A** milk shake is even better. Just saying

I visited there after reading all the good reviews. Of the 3 cones, 2 fell of the cone in the car, staining our clothes. Maybe it was a new guy or sth, didnt know how to put it properly. But the flavors didnt impress me either. Pistachio was nothing like pistachio; the lemon flavor was not good; there was nothing special about the vanilla either. I havent tried any other flavors. Staff seem nice though..

Literally the best cherry vanilla ice cream anywhere. They have other flavors, and do yourself a favor and get the cherry vanilla. With giant cherries and delicious vanilla ice cream blended together, it is heaven on a hot day.

Just love this place. The best Ice Cream place in Paterson. I would have rated it 5 stars but its the second time in a visit that they are out of my sons favorite ice cream treat of Sonic or SpongeBob.

So I am usually the one who knows where to get good eats! But being the power couple we are my husband certainly knows the good spots to hit as well! We know where to go!!! The menu is packed with flavor, the options are plentiful and they are there all kinds of hours for your ice cream craving!!! I am a fan! Long standing and family owned! Fricken delicious! Next trip Strawberry Chessecake!!!

Not a lot of people know about this place but man if you are the kind of guy that doesnt like anything too sweet ...this is the place to go ...ONE of the best ice cream places in the area

Best ice cream in NJ. They have Lucuma which is extremely hard to find. Their ice cream is super creamy almost custard-like. Insane. I will forever be dedicated to this place. Staff is very friendly and courteous. Thank you for making high quality ice cream with amazing yummy ingredients.

Drove 30 minutes to get here and they are not open. Online says open at 12pm and the phone machine says 12pm. I’ve been outside 30 minutes it’s now 12:40pm and still not open. This is disappointing. My kids in the car excited and now let down. Needed the ice cream for my daughter birthday party. Smh

Prices are reasonable and ice cream taste so good! My kids love to come here with dad especially during sunny afternoons.

Always my go-to ice cream place. So many different flavors to choose from & every single one that Ive was amazing. Quick service, even when its packed. They give you an great amount for what you pay for! My boyfriend introduced me years ago & even started bringing my family and friends. Also, their milkshakes are exactly the way I like; perfect amount of thickness where youre not sucking at the straw like Sonic.

It definitely lost some curb appeal.

Too crowded they have a sign at the door with only 10 people allowed but its about 20+ people inside. No control ice cream is awesome tho.

My experience at Guernsey Crest was great the first thing I noticed was the area it’s not on a Main Street it’s ok a side street all the employees are friendly and the ice cream is really good the butter pecan was really good this is a place where you go on purpose

Definitely the best ice cream around. Still have not found a better scoop of vanilla ice cream anywhere. Ive been eating the ice cream for years and would pick Guernsey Crest over Baskin Robbins & Haagen-Dazs any day of the week. I love Cold Stone as a rare treat but for a lot less money you can indulge in a delicious creamy serving of GC ice cream. & the milkshakes are Oh So GoOd

Variety of flavors and the best ice cream!!

My only problem with this place is that it definitely needs to be upgraded: For starters, the ice cream freezer machine has oxide in it, some of the sprinkles and walnuts are old, and they only accept cash, I strongly believe they should have credit card machines now, despite all the funds they receive at this place, it should be properly maintained, unless, the employees are hiding something there, after all, it IS Paterson, the breeding ground of hideouts, I have contacted the BBB and the Dept of Consumer Affairs about this, I have noticed that they arent really following the guidelines for Covid, customers just sneeze in there, without masks, lack of ventilation, plus it is snowing, why would it be open anyway?

Best ice cream in all of Paterson hands down!!! The ice cream is creamy and full of flavor. The line during the hotter days can get pretty long but it’s definitely worth the wait.

The ice cream is great, the attention/customer service has diminished due to zero adult supervision. Employees wearing headphones listening to music playing on phone instead of paying attention to the paying customers.

Best homemade ice cream. The black cherry has large, juicy chunks of black cherries. The chocolate fudge crunch is amazing.Its not a fancy place. Theres nowhere to sit and eat your cone. The people working there are always pleasant. There may be a line but its worth it. The prices are also excellent.

Although i do miss when their cones used to only cost $1, this place brings back so many fond childhood memories and the nostalgia attached to them. after more than 25 years knowing their business, i can proudly say that this ice cream shop remains a classic and their product quality is just as great as it was on day one. the price might have gone up a little bit, but so has the price of everything else in this world and at least the values still the same. some things in this world never change - luckily that includes Guernsey Crest. thanks for all the memories!

Literally the best homemade ice cream u will ever have in your life. This place is a relic and a legend in the community. Even better the prices of their ice cream are very cheap compared to any other ice cream shop. Theyre always busy especially on the hottest days, bit its well worth it. Their strawberry cheesecake ice cream is my favorite.
