I had a great experience at Walgreens # 6295229 Andover St. Peobody, MA 01923Angela one of the workers got something for my daughter that I was looking for everywhere since days .She did it from the heart and everything she could to achieve this for my daughter.When I paid I wanted to give her a tip for all her effort and she did not accept me, she told me that she did it from the heart, that she was rewarded with seeing my daughter happy for having found the item. The pharmacist (supervisor and reg employee) were both rude and not helpful in the slightest. They gave me my prescription and it didn’t include a one of them that I desperately needed at 8 months pregnant for my doc app the following day. The first woman told me that it wasn’t called in, I asked her if there was anyone she can call to verify the prescription because I needed it for the morning? She disregarded my question and responds “you can buy it”.. I told her that was rude and really not helpful.. she then got the supervisor who did nothing, but wasn’t rude at this time. I went home and confirmed with the after hours nurse that the item I needed was absolutely in the system and she would send it again in a couple hours. I called back the pharmacy and I asked if they could please look again because my nurse verified it was definitely ordered. The pharmacist responds and says “oh ya it’s here now but she just sent that in because it wasn’t here before”. I told her that was insulting, That the nurse said she couldn’t even send it for a couple hours and I would have preferred the mistake acknowledged . I couldn’t even finish my sentence before she says “ya and it’s NOT covered by insurance. The lack of customer service and the level of immaturity on how to handle a poor situation was a complete failure in this entire department. Disgusted.

Greeting ! Last week I happened to run into Walgreens on Andover Adt. Peabody to look for Clorox wipes. I never really shop at Walgreens my go to store is CVS or Target. I had the most wonderful experience at this Walgreens and felt so welcome, Angela who works there helped me above and beyond ! Thank you Angela ! Pharmacy gave me the wrong medication when I filled a prescription. They corrected their mistake when I got very sick and spoke with my dr and realized it and called to tell them, but the pharmacist barely seemed to care and when I went to pick up the correct prescription they made me wait close to an hour after telling me it would be 10 minutes then gave me my correct medication without as much as an Im sorry about this they didnt even seem surprised! Makes me wonder if this happens often!UPDATE *After leaving this review I got call from a woman who worked in the pharmacy who apologized and seemed very sincere. Am adding a star for that because she seemed genuinely concerned.

I have been using Alphagan for my glaucoma for 20 years. My last vision field test showed no change. Yet Walgreens cannot seem to refill my prescription or have the common courtesy to tell me they cannot get this medication. After waiting 2 weeks, I phoned them today and was advised to get my optometrist to prescribe something else. Im sorry Walgreens I am not changing medications that work for your convenience. Your primary interest should be providing medications as prescribed with a proven track record for the patient. Good bye and good luck!

Be very careful with this pharmacy. They gave me the wrong medication which could have resulted in the loss of my pregnancy had i taken this medication. They clearly are undertrained and uneducated. Corporate will be receiving a call.

The nurse or whoever she was named Karen, that was working the pharmacy took sooooo long to get to me she was chatting away with two girls who obviously were saying something about me because they kept looking over to me in drive thru. She took 4 ppl in the line inside before attending to me while there was a line of cara behind me. They either need more employees or more efficient people. That was a sucky experience. It should be forst come first serve not whats your conveniance bc they walked into the store.
