This is easily the best shop on the south side. Not only are the owners great and involved, but the car came out flawless. Even after some questions, they took their time to help me.

After a can of white spray paint was accidentally burst in my driveway, I found specs of paint across a portion of the painted and window surfaces of my Acadia. I called this shop randomly having never been a customer of them before. After I explained my situation to the owner over the phone, she gave me detailed directions as to how I could try to remove the paint myself safely. I was not comfortable doing so afraid I would damage the original paint on my car. I asked if I could stop by and pay them to do the job right.When I arrived at their shop, the owner came outside herself and removed the paint from my car using a variety of products. She carefully inspected my car for every last spec of white paint and talked to me about how to care for my cars paint going forward. She was so incredibly kind and helpful. I wanted to pay her but she refused any payment. She offered to teach my sons how to properly wash a vehicle and protect what is for most of us a major investment in our automobiles.I will most certainly call this shop if the need arises in the future!

If I could give these guys 6 stars I would as they always seem to exceed your expectations. They did a great job on the door repair/replacement on my Volvo XC90. Perfect match on the color, under budget and got my car back earlier than expected. Leon and his team are great. I am a repeat customer and always a good experience with Body Magic.

Best place for bodywork in ptc

Backed our minivan into a tree by accident and smashed our rear window as well as dented up our lift gate pretty good. Took it to Body Magic, having nothing to go on but reviews off of the inter webs and the fact that it was on the list from State Farm of approved body shops... Based on what I read though, Body Magic was the place to take our van and we did. All I can say is that they did, in fact, do an amazing job. They do take their time though, so if you are looking for a quick fix, this is not your place. However, I would rather a place have our vehicle a bit longer, if the reason is that they are making sure that the repair is being done right. The only other thing I would say is that communication was not great. I was told that an estimate would be emailed to me on a Monday, after having dropped the van off on a Friday and nothing. Gave them some time to contact me, but it was me that ended up having to call and that was 2 days after I was supposed to hear something from them, so its not like I was being impatient. Never did get an estimate emailed to me, until I got one from State Farm and that was almost 2 weeks after they got the vehicle in their possession. Then, I had to continue to be the one that called to get any updates on the vehicles progress- they did not call me once actually. So, I would say that communication keeps them from getting 5 stars and the fact that they took almost 3 weeks to fix the vehicle. Granted, they did get a lift gate with a back-up camera, which our van does not have, so they had to reject that lift gate and wait for a new one, so not their fault. Fortunately we had another car and did not require a rental, but all-in-all, very happy with their work and I would highly recommend them if you have the patience to deal with the lack of communication!!

Not impressed with the customer service / follow-up on my car repairs. No phone calls or proactive notifications from Body Magic - I repeatedly had to call and check on when the car would be completed.Estimated at 8 business days and turned into 19 days - which resulted in 25 days in a rental car (counting the weekends)!While the repairs turned out great, the extra cost to me and the repeated calls for updates is not the service that I would expect. I will definitely look for another company for any repairs needed in the future.

I just want to start off by saying this place is phenomenal! My boyfriend and I own a 2013 Dodge Avenger which he fell asleep at the wheel and wrecked not long after purchasing. The car had quite a bit of damage and was not even drivable after the wreck. We had the vehicle towed to our house and the next morning we made a claim with our insurance company. Not even 2 hours after picking this shop they had a tow truck at our house to pick up our car and when it arrived at the shop they immediately called us to let us know it had arrived. After about 3 days they had broke our car down and gave us an estimate and time frame of when theyd have the car ready. Although they ran into a couple problems with some equipment which made us have to wait 2 extra days to get our vehicle back I cant even be the least bit disappointed. Our car looks like nothing had ever happened to it. The paint job is perfect and matches the rest of the car perfectly! We had to have our wheels and rims replaced as well and our factory rims were silver but we had them painted black before the wreck and when we got our car with new factory rims the shop even took the time to paint them black for us to match the other ones. This place just went above and beyond our expectations. We are so happy with our choice of choosing this shop! Hopefully we wont ever have to visit a body shop again but if so this is where we will go and I will recommend them to all of my friends and family. Great work and customer service!

Came into Body Magic with my back quarter panel rubbing on my tire...right before I was about to leave for a cross country drive. Leon helped me tremendously and got me in right away and fixed it. Great customer service, excellent team. Thanks again Leon and Body Magic.

Wrecked the front of my car, messed up the suspension, tire alignment, etc. They fixed my car in a reasonable time frame (with a very fair price) and it looks like nothing ever happened to it! They’re down to earth people and they’re extremely thorough in their work. I highly reccomend them - you will not be disappointed!

I took my car in for front end damage....they assured me that it would be ready in 2 weeks ....well 2 weeks turned into 3 weeks because they lost a tech...not my problem then after 3 weeks they claim they found additional damage what the hell clearly these people are stalling...and I would not recommend them to any one ... No stars poor customer service, poor communication and definitely poor disregard for the customer... Not satisfied at all

Excellent work, great communication and terrific people to work with. They stayed on budget, on time and when unexpected issues arose, they contacted us immediately and sought to resolve the problem fairly. We were extremely pleased with the service here.

I have used them twice now, and they are fast and professional. This last time, I stopped by for an estimate on my lunch break and it was in my in box before I made it back to work. The work they do is experienced and professional.

They have a high turn over of employees because management is so bad they skrew their employees out of their pay checks to stay in business

A disappointment in the lack of customer service. I recently brought in a vehicle for some minor repair/paint work. A few days after dropping the vehicle off I called the shop (a Friday) to get an update and spoke to the manager. He informed me that the car was going into the paint shop and it would should be done by the following wednesday but at the latest Thursday. Thursday had passed and heard no word, a little concerned I called up the following day (Friday), spoke to the owners wife. She informed me that the vehicle was going into the paint shop. I was perplexed with her answer and inquired what had been done the past week since I had spoken to the manager and he had stated the same (I now realize after the fact this was their stall comment to all customers). She promised me that she would get to the bottom of the situation and get back to me. I did not hear from her and it was a holiday weekend. I called back Monday morning and got the receptionist, asked to speak to the owners wife - it was convenient that she was busy and would have to get back to me. I waited all day for a phone call and still no call back. At this point I had about enough of the blatant misconceptions and wanted to talk to the owners wife. I arrived aprox. 30 minutes before closing and once again the wife was not available but was met by the owner (the husband). For the next 15 minutes I heard excuses and was shown to the location of the vehicle. He did apologize for any miscommunication or to the scheduling to what he referred to as. The car still had not been painted and so he then instructs one of the technicians to have the car painted the following day. Come Wednesday early evening I arrive to look over the completed work. At the location of the repair I notice two dimples (size of a dime) on the work that was done. What was told to me next was the most absurd customer service excuse I have heard. At first the owner was a little dumbfounded with me pointing out the problem and went to talk to the technician. He came back and said that was previous damage from hail. The work to be done was only for removal of the dent not the two small dimples that was inches from the dent. I have had many vehicles in the course of my life and had many of these vehicles in a body shop at some point or another. Bottom line what they were telling me was that they only repaired a specific area and nothing surrounding it. We are talking in the same panel area not adjacent panels. Instead of just saying ok we made a mistake the technician overlooked the spots, we will take care of it. Instead an excuse is made at every oops or situation. Perhaps I am old school and appreciate honesty and ethics. Obviously not what I should expect when dealing with this company. I was told to come back the following Monday to talk to the manager (BTW it was convenient that he was on vacation the whole week of ooops) Fast forward a few days after. I come to pay for the work and expressed that I wanted a discount with all that has happened and did not wish to wait till the manager returned that Monday. The OWNER of the company at this point tells me that I am a JERK and had the audacity to say it with my son (elementary age 9) sitting in the opened waiting room and he heard his comment. My suggestion caveat emptor before conducting business with this establishment. I have dealt with this company close to a decade and have returned multiple times but after this incident NEVER!
