I thought this establishment was extremely professional, very organized, and extremely knowledgeable! A woman before me mentioned shed never been there and he pulled her up, told her she was there 20 years before, her car and what the problem was. My first impression was good! Throughout the day I received texts letting me know to call them (so I could call on my own time). When I spoke to him, he knew exactly what was going on and generally what happens with that type of issue on my car. The problem ended up being a little over $800 and he even suggested I hold off due to the expense and that my car didnt actually need it done immediately. Theyre there for the people and not out to make money off you! I would definitely refer someone there and Im definitely going back if I ever need to!

Always fairly priced, does work I can trust, I know I’m not going to be told about unneeded repairs. If there is a safety concern or something that seriously needs attention, I am informed and given options when available. Once again Craig Automotive delivered excellent service in a timely fashion. The initial analysis was spot on and my 2008 Ford Explorer is purring like a kitten again. I imagined the repair would be something much worse than coils and plugs. Honest and reliable service that cant be beat.

The customer service is great but the most important thing to me is that they dont try to up sell you for repairs that are not necessary. They let you know if a repair is needed but no long wish list of repairs they could do. I have been to other places that do that and it gets old. They provide quick service at a reasonable price.

Even so, I switched back to Craig Automotive, even though the dealership actually is closer. If they dont have an oil drum with the manufacturers recommend weight/type of oil, Craigs will buy and use bottles of it, rather than using something close that they buy by the barrel. Not even all dealerships go to that trouble/expense. Straight talk, straight dealing, and thoroughly decent.

I have used Glenns services several times this year. My reasons for returning are due to the professional approach he uses to solve the problems I have had with my car. I feel I have gotten excellent quality, and service at reasonable cost. I have a 2008 Honda Civic which had its A/C go out. The first mechanic I took it to, which I had previous dealt with, was priced high. I called a couple other mechanics and got Glen from Craig Automotive. They were not the cheapest, but were several hundred less than my first quote and because of Glens personality, I gave Craigs Automotive the business. They did a great job and the car was ready on the date I was given. I think the A/C is now colder than when I bought the car. I will be giving my automotive business to Craig Automotive going forward

Had a terrible experience with Graig Automotive. My engine light went on and I brought my car there. Got a phone call from Glenn, the owner, telling me the issues were a cracked air intake hose (his quote - $477) and a leaking cooler thermostat hose ($365). He said the second issue was more important as my vehicle was low on cooler and the leaking hose had to be replaced.His estimate seemed unreasonably high to me, so I called to another repair company. Their quote for the cooler hose replacement was about 3 times less. I returned to Glenn to take my car to the other repair shop. He handed me a bill for $91 for the diagnostics, because I was not leaving my car with him for repair. Hey, if you give me a reasonable estimate youll get my business. After I gave him my credit card and said “Go ahead, charge me, it’s easy to loose a reputation he told me to never come back to his shop again!To add insult to injury, it took me a minute to look under the hood and see that my vehicle’s cooler level was full and there were not any leaks.I am a real customer and I hate leaving bad reviews.

I have been using Craig Automotive for all of my automotive repairs since 2001. Glenn and his staff have always treated me fairly, with competitive pricing and excellent craftsmanship. The highest compliment that I can give a company is to recommend my friends to them and I have done that on multiple occasions.

I just moved to town and the check engine light came on the day before I was going to register my car and naturally it was emissions related. Instead of telling me I need a new catalytic converter for my old car $$$$, they tried many workarounds to get it to pass the emission test and then took it and had it tested and ready for me the same day! This shop at least got my repair done properly, I will give them that. However, it took them a week to replace air conditioner compressor, and owner, Glenn, is pretty terrible at customer service. After I asked to start up the car to ensure that repair was complete, Glenn, the owner, threw my keys across the counter at me, and started to accuse me of distrusting him and harassing him.I was a real customer, but will take my business elsewhere.

Its good to be able to say Ive always gotten what I needed in a timely manner from Glenn and his staff, but its even more important to me to be able to say that Craig Automotive has earned my trust over the years. I Took my car to the Ford dealership first and they wanted to charge me more than twice what Craigs automotive cost to scope the car. Would absolutely never visit again. The counter staff is pleasant enough to deal with, but the techs they have there are rude and EXTREMELY disrespectful. Ive not experienced an interaction that unpleasant in YEARS. The techs refuse to clearly discuss or even explain what work they believe needs to be done.

First time using Craig auto, I am very happy with the service and repair. I have a 2003 Chevy Silverado which had stopped running and started after sitting on the side of the road for 20 minute. The truck was starting and running since. Other shops did not know what caused the problem. They were able to pinpoint the cause, crankshaft position sensor, and replace the sensor and reprogram the computer. The truck is running great. They also replaced the blower motor resistor and pigtail on the ac fan. They did all this in half a day. I will be back if I have future problems.

Honda Accord Idle Surge Fixed June 2020Our 2000 Honda Accord V6 has been a great car. Recently, it began the infamous idle surge. That is, the idle speed would surge up and down from about 1,000 rpm to 1,500 rpm. As a DIY weekend garage mechanic, my son and I tried fixing this based on the common causes of idle surge int he Honda. Based on the error code generated by the cars computer, it appeared that the Idle Air Control valve (IAC) was bad. We replaced this and it did not solve the problem. A rubber intake air snorkle was bad indicating a possible vacuum leak. This was replaced. Still no fix. After a few more attempts to remedy the problem, I took the Honda to the car gurus at Craig Automotive. All indications were that the cars computer called ECU/PCM was bad. This was sent off to a repair facility in FL whos test showed no defect in the ECU/PCM. Back to the search for what was causing the idle surge. After several days and Im sure some minor head scratching, Glenn Wacaster and company found the problem, fixed it and now the old reliable Honda rides again. Time after time, Glenn and his team has proven to be master mechanics. Not only are they very good at what they do, but they are also fair with their pricing and are the high water mark for honesty. If youre looking for a safe haven to take your car, go see Craig Automotive. You wont be disappointed. (And no, Im not a ghost writer or related in anyway to Craig Automotive, its owner or employees)I have been bringing my vehicles to Craig Automotive for several years and have developed a trust with this company and the people who work there.
