Worst service Ive ever received. I stopped in two weeks ago to see if they sold to the public. I was told yes to come in on a Friday or Saturday and bring some pictures of what I was wanting and they would help me out. So I did just that, took a day off work and drove 50 minutes up there with my trailer to buy my plants. When I showed up the guy in the office was nice and I asked him to speak the gentleman in the yard that I spoke with a couple weeks before. He went and got him and as soon as he walked in he had an attitude. I told him that I had the pictures of the area and of the plants Id like but I needed his help with pointing out a few plants for the corners of the house. He then told me he wouldnt help me do anything but load the plants. He also then said he wasnt a designer but had been the yard guy for 19 years. I repeated that all I needed was for him to point out a few plants that would work in the corner areas. I new I needed a couple plants that were 6-8 foot tall and could handle shade. Seems like that would be easy for someone with that much experience.After receiving such a poor attitude from this guy I decided I would spend my money somewhere else, so I went to a different store and spent $4,139.00I would not recommend dealing with someone who cant spend 10 minutes to make $4,139.00.I understand everyone is understaffed but its never acceptable to tell a customer you dont have time to help him.

I’m a local landscape contractor and have always received great service from this Stovall branch. Eric, Allan, and Jamie are all wonderful and super knowledgeable about plants. Highly recommend using Stovall PTC!

Ive had good experiences here...and the staff is very friendly...but they have limited hours for the public now and if you are not a contractor, you can only shop Friday and Saturday. That does not always work with peoples schedules. Excuse given was that they are busy in spring. Well...if it were my business, I would hire more people and make more profit by selling to customers that show up in person ready to buy. I hate turning to Amazon when I can buy things locally - but that is precisely what I just did. Amazon gets what I need here in two days vs. having to drive back to Stovall, fight 54/74 traffic, etc. because they are limiting their public hours.
