Store was clean but not well stocked. Employees seamed more concerned with putting inventory away than helping customers.
DO NOT SHOP HERE!!. They refused to honor the warranty on a premium battery I purchased there about a month ago. The battery did not hold a charge even after my mechanic replaced all parts that would otherwise cure the problem. AutoZone said if the battery takes a charge, that is all that is necessary for it to be considered a good battery and to not have to replace it, no matter how many times I return with it dead. They will put it on a charge at the store, and if it takes it, it is a good battery even though it will only hold it for 12 to 24 hours. VERY FRUSTRATING!! Lost a regular customer with this kind of customer service. Many other choices in the area.

I ordered a part via the AutoZone website as it said that it was in stock and immediately after placing and paying for my order I received an email saying that it was ready for pick up. When I arrived at the store I was greeted by Cyan who just hung up the phone with another customer who was apparently waiting for an order and she said that she’d reach out to the driver as the part was still at “the hub.” I told her that I was there to pick up an order that I placed online. She asked how it was placed, I told her by me on my phone and I showed her the confirmation email. Needless to say she still asks me my vehicle information which I gave her and types it in as if I were just walking in to the store, completely ignoring my confirmation number from the online transaction. Then, low and behold, “we’re out of stock. We have them at the hub and they can be here in a couple of hours.” As I told her I wanted to cancel the transaction she asked another employee how to cancel a transaction. Before he did he asked what my part and order number were. Going the extra step of actually looking on the shelves right behind where Cyan was standing he located the part I ordered already pulled waiting for me to pick up. It seems as though deny, deny, deflect is something that is practiced quite well at this store. Maybe retrain, retrain, actually look for the part should be practiced. First and last time in this location.

Terrible associates. Dont know if they are all like that though. Went there to buy muffler tail and there were two ladies and a young guy who seems not to know their stuffs but were rude. The only AutoZone I visited with such kind of behavior. The one in Greenburg, Tarrytown road in New York is the best. If you want some real help and good customer service, please go there.
They seem to have more things than other auto parts store on the shelves are always stocked. I changed my first post and it and really good auto parts store. I think there going to be around for a long time.

Horrible experience. I was approached by a salesperson who answered the phone while I was in mid sentence and stayed on for 15minutes! Beside higher prices, terrible service and little inventory, there are better choices less than five minutes up the same road. Definitely skip this place for auto supplies!!!!

I was told my part was gonna be there at a specific time, so I set my appointment with my mechanic n here I am still waiting for my part which has s three hours late.. for ur money n peace of mind, just continue to to to bridge auto n advance auto at the beach.. wasted a day waiting with no answers just excuses

Peekskill, NY Autozone is a great store with dedicated professional staff. This last customer that said he waited 15 min was not the next customer and the employee was already on phone when the customer started talking out of turn..unfortunately people love to complain, in their favor, hoping to get free stuff off company. Their is always two sides to every story and the customer is not always right.. it’s better to tell truth before posting lies on social media.

YOU GUYS SUCK!I was just there. I patiently waited for assistance. One person was waiting on the woman ahead of me. the other person was doing something on another computer and totally ignored me. The owner came in and he proceeded to help ith the woman in front of me. I waited patiently. That woman left. I stepped up to the counter and proceeded to tell the sales person what I needed. She started to look it up on the computer. The owner asked a question and she stopped to respond to him then another employee came to the counter an started talking to her and have her sign something!It is obvious to me that at Auto Zone the customer does not come first. I drove up to Advanced Auto and got what I needed.I am done with Auto Zone!Joe Agosta

I just want to say again what a professional approach and customer service I receive from Robert Ferretti at the Autozone in peekskill, ny. I’m always in the store for something and it’s always pleasurable experience from him. This is my favorite store because of him.I was in the Peekskill Autozone today and witnessed the best customer service by the entire staff to the rudest customer I’ve ever seen in a long time. The young man was demanding he receive free brakes when he could not provide any history that he bought them from Autozone...the employee “Robert” was very polite and helpful throughout, but this guy was extremely rude and angry for no reason. Once all the employees felt threatened, Robert said he was going to call the police and the man backed off and apologized... good job to Autozone for protecting myself ( as a customer, who was also scared). In the world we live in today we must feel save at all times. THANK YOU ROBERT FOR STANDING UP AND KEEP ME SAFE.Great experience in Peekskill Autozone. helpful and professional staff.
