Alex and Javier are professionals! I needed new tires, a wheel alignment, new struts and shocks and now my car is running really smooth! I have a 2013 Dodge Dart. Make sure you book an appointment early in the morning because they get booked fast for the day because they do such great work! I’m going back as soon as possible. They can do anything on your car! I live in Poughkeepsie and It’s definitely worth the hour drive for car maintenance in hands you can trust!

Javier helped me check and air up my tires when my icon light came on and I couldnt use the $1 air pump at my gas station! I was visiting from Delaware, where our air pumps are free and show your pounds figure. Plus I lost a hubcap at a pothole, and Javier tracked down a prompt replacement set and got them on for me. It was a great experience for this senior citizen!

I needed a flat repaired. They took me right in and repaired my tire in 15 minutes for a very reasonable price. I will need new tires this year and as a result of the great service, I will be getting them from Discount Tire Depot.

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!!! I needed 4 new tires mounted and balanced as well as new valve stems.. I called, then dropped off 4 brand new powder coated black rims and tires which I literally took out of the packaging in front of the “mechanic”... owner called to tell me they were ready.. once I got there the owner now tells me that all 4 rims “have some kind of grind marks in the same areas”... its freshly made damage and doesn’t take a forensic scientist to put this one together... owner never took responsibility for the heavy scratches that are completely unavoidable and stick out like a sore thumb... ultimately I walked out of there not paying a dime. Watch out for this place, very sneaky and will try to lie their way out of a situation.. I hope they see this comment as the owner him self knows exactly what he did.. I should have charged him what it ended up costing me to fix his damage but that would be a waste of even more time..

Javier & Alex are respectful, know their customers by name, and always give a truthful & accurate assessment of your vehicle & honest pricing for parts. Best of all, you can buy your own parts & bring it to their shop. These guys are hard working family men, who allow you to be part of the whole process of maintaining your car.Always a friendly, welcoming atmosphere & I always drive away with full confidence that my car was fixed perfectly.Highly recommend as theirs is a shop with integrity, trust & skill.

Used these guys last year....5 stars in and out. Came back again for another wheel alignment and it was a complete 180. We called before heading down to make sure they could service us today and they confirmed. Once we arrived they told us the machine was down and we would have to come back. Additionally they pressured my stepfather into purchasing 4 new tires. Hes a 70 year old man and they completely took advantage of him. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE !!!!!! They are dishonest and untrustworthy. I would not recommend this company to my worst enemy.

Javier and Alex are nothing but professional and stand up business owners. They’ve been nothing but helpful and always stop to give me advice on the car. One of the reviews listed here mention that they pressured a customer and that is nothing but absolutely FALSE. (they have to follow NY STATE inspection rules just like any other honest shop) They’re experts and give their input and advice for the situation at hand to make sure you leave satisfied and your car is running perfect. I’ve had nothing but friendly encounters visiting the shop. In fact while I’m waiting for my vehicle to be ready and conversing with the owners it makes me forget that I’m just at a tire shop having my vehicle serviced. Would highly recommend and will definitely be my go to shop.

I always come here for all my oil changes and basic needs like brakes and what not. They are always fair with their prices and flexible! Javier is always helper and I know that I am never being swindled when it comes to the work here. I literally travel 50 mins just to get my car worked on from this place!

I have come here several times and also recommended a lot of people. I came in for a group-on special, alignment and also asked to have my front suspension adjusted. (I knew I should have just done myself) the front coilovers were a little lower than I wanted so I wanted them to raise before the alignment was done. The coilover design is two piece, which means you can raise and lower the whole unit without touching spring. Again, I should have done myself as they ended up raising suspension from spring only which makes the preload of the spring very high. I also asked to have the steering checked as something felt weird in the steering. (Taking to another shop after confirmed it was the rack and pinion going bad.) They said it was fine and I must have Installed something for it to feel that way. ?? I asked for the alignment spec sheet which you should always ask for to make sure everything is in spec. They didnt want to give at first and said I should have requested it first. Then they showed me on the computer and I noticed everything was okay except for front camber. One side was -4 and other -2. I asked if there was a specific reason as to why the two didnt match. They said no everything was fine, so I asked why couldnt they get them both to match or at least closer. They said I needed a camber kit to further adjust it. So now I take the car with one front wheel more cambered in than other side, and suspension feeling like a pogo stick. I had to take car to another shop to adjusted the suspension again and once in the air mechanic looks at camber bolts and tells me that noone has touched the camber bolt. I look for myself and the bolt on both sides in fact is dirty and looks like it hasnt been touched in a while. Other people that I have recommended have also had issues with them unfortunately. I dont mind paying extra for a good job, but paying more for a job done wrong and leaving with car needing to go to another shop is unacceptable. Again, I should have not asked for them to raise suspension as they clearly didnt know how to, but to not adjust front camber for whatever reason and to say steering is fine doesnt make sense.

They are always accommodating and quick! Super nice team of mechanics. They do more than tires too. Their alignment services have always been spot on.

Alex was very knowledgeable and helpful in regard to my brake situation on my Honda. I called for an appointment right when they open and they quickly made an appointment for me within the next hour. The prices are negotiable and not so bad. I just picked up the car and the brakes are fantastic and I could not thank them enough. Not only was Discount Tire Depot able to beat any price that I was quoted for a set of tires for my tahoe but they were able to get me in and out in a timely manner. Staff was extremely courteous and attentive to my needs. Most franchises will not be this attentive to their customers and I recommend this shop to anybody looking for a great deal!!!

Went to discount tire depot today for a wheel alignment after reading their reviews here and I have to say that this business stands high on customer service, price and quality of work. Alex was a gentleman and provided me with great service, had me in and out in one hour and as a bonus erased my tpms light. Made an appointment, was 10 mins late, a pleasant man put me in the system. They took my car in and I was out in less than 30 min for an oil change and tire rotation. Honestly was expecting some typical up charges, but not here. Great price and service with a smile!

First off, it’s relevant for me to note I am native NYer but currently reside in Maryland. I love my car and take good care of her, but for about 3 months I was driving around with a tire that would require air once a week. As I travel I95 like I’m driving around the block, ANYTHING that prevents me from doing so is a significant problem (obviously). At the suggestion from an friend, I brought my baby into Discount Tire where they were able to triage and remedy the PSI issue I was having NO OTHER shop was able figure out. The professionalism, expertise, patience, and sincere care extended went far beyond my expectations. Not only did they keep me posted on what they were doing but they also showed me once they figured it out (which didn’t take long). Impressed to say the least, I can’t express the gratitude and appreciation I have for having one less thing to stress about as I continue my interstate journeys ;-). 🚗💨

I found this place online and after reading the reviews I decided to call and see what they could do. I like coming here. They have changed my breaks, changed my oil and I got some tires from them. They are a very helpful bunch of guys and very friendly and tell you how it is when it comes to your car. Their pricing is decent, too compared to other places. I would definitely recommend them. Fast turnaround, great service, even better prices. Seriously great prices. Some of the services are less than half what youd pay in other shops in Westchester. Kinda funny how the only negative reviews are people saying the shop recommended more service that could save the customers car and, god forbid, even their life. I went and they asked if they could check my alignment. They said my alignment was fine and didnt suggest any other maintenance or repairs. I dont think they are rip-off artists trying to make customers get service they dont need. Pretty much every mechanic shops reviews are full of people with poorly maintained cars and tight budgets convinced mechanics are trying to screw them. Take the bad reviews with a grain of salt. After one good experience Im a regular customer.

Though the job I brought my car in for in late August was done right, I dont understand why oil was dumped on the floor inside my car on the drivers side. It is taking me weeks to soak it out of the carpet and had me worried that there was something wrong with the car. It has been looked at and there is nothing wrong except oil was poured into the carpet for some unknown reason while in your shop.

I found this location from a Groupon. Ironically I live right down the road, but never knew this place existed. I’m glad I came because the staff was very friendly and helpful especially Jávier. Truth be told I put a lot of things off when it comes to my car; however through their financial program I was able to fulfill the necessary maintenance I needed to make my car safe for the road. I got all new tires there and they had the best price!! I called 5-7 different places for pricing and a thicker tred. Discount tire depot had hands down the best price! Took them about an hour and half to do all 4 tires. Also I went to get an oil change and they had me in and out quick witch is what I need in life. They also have a groupon still going.

These guys are fast and honest, and do their best to reduce costs. I did have my oil over- filled during an oil change, hence the loss of a star. However, I think it was a fluke and they did everything they could to fix it afterwards.

Alex and Javier were an amazing help. I went in for an oil change and they told me that my tires were shot and that my axel was in danger of breaking. I didnt have the money to fix it but Javier told me to apply for the credit card to cover it. I got approved and was out with my car the same day. Next day it snowed and my new tires saved my life. Very friendly and straightforward service. I went in just to get the brakes done, but a guy there saw my trunk was broken and said he could weld the broken piece on to fix it. Ive spent hundreds of dollars trying to fix this trunk and he did it in 15 minutes for a fraction of all of that. Im going to just keep going to these guys from now on.
