Iris is AMAMZING!!! The coffee is fresh and you can drink a cup of black coffee without any bitter after taste - its smooth and perfectly roasted. The flavors are so fun to try and as a local with a subscription they will leave my bag of coffee at my house for FREE. Its perks like that and so much more that make them my new favorite place to buy my coffee.

Tucked in the loft of a bicycle shop, Iris coffee makes a great cup of coffee. We were immediately helped and presented with a variety of brewing method and in-house roasted beans.I had a medium roasted Ethiopian bean brewed via the siphon method and my wife had their special from the last lab session on Saturday. During preparation and enjoyment we were treated to pleasant conversation covering both Iris and coffee in general. As we were leaving they were also firing up their air roaster.It was an enjoyable and quite unique experience from a the typical coffee shop of today and plan to come back whenever were in town again.

Iris Coffee is the BEST! I’ve really enjoyed the different coffees I’ve tried, and I appreciate that Beth, the owner, is so knowledgeable and can teach me about the different flavors of each and every coffee variety. The new lab space is a great opportunity to see how your coffee is roasted and try out whatever Beth is brewing that day. Once you stop by once, you’ll for sure want to come back!

This is the best coffee I have had! My stomach would always feel sour after drinking coffee in the mornings but have never had that with any of the flavors from Iris. Thank you for making my mornings great!

Absolutely the best, freshest coffee youll have. The roasts are flavorful but not overpowering. Have tried quite a few and never been disappointed! Spend some time talking to Beth, she knows a lot and will set you up with your new favorite morning brew!

The coffee is flavorful! No need to add creamer here to hide the uncertain after tastes. ALSO the owners are friendly and knowledgeable on there products making sure you enjoy what you buy. Id rate it 4.5 if I could, JUST bc its a 45 minute drive away....

The coffee is unbelievable: fresh, tasty and very enjoyable. Iris Coffee is the only coffee that doesn’t give me heartburn. The owners of Iris are knowledgable and helpful. They love learning and sharing the things they learn! If you haven’t already checked them out I highly suggest doing so!

Iris Coffee offers some of the best coffee I’ve had. I have a subscription which allows me to receive fresh roasted coffee every two weeks. It’s easy to get signed up and I love knowing I will get something different each time! The owners are knowledgeable and friendly.

Honestly the best coffee Ive ever had. Its all I drink anymore!! Im the type of person who likes my coffee heavily creamed, but I can drink Iris Coffee without it & LOVE IT. Cannot recommend this enough!

I grew up disliking coffee. It was acidic and much too bitter. It’s only use for me was to jumpstart my day or pump me up for a test..But then I met the people behind Iris Coffee and they introduced me to the Yirgacheffe blend. It had notes of berry and caramel and, dare I say, I enjoyed drinking it. Instead of drinking coffee for its caffeine, I now drink it just to enjoy it.Iris coffee truly cares about getting a premium cup of coffee in your hands.

Lovely shop, located in the loft of a bike shop. They offer high quality beans and expertly brewed coffee. By far the best Ive tasted in Pella, and surrounding area for sure. The shop itself is small and they only have limited hours, but I can only imagine what theyd do with a larger space. You can tell they pay attention to the quality of their product and space. From what I saw(They do more, this just what stuck out to me), they offer Kalita and Chemex pour over as well as Aeropress. Thats something thats not being offered in the area, and Im truly excited to see where they take this.
