Great cakes great service great people

Got our Wedding Cake here. Everyone absolutely loved the Classic Moist Dominican Guava cake! Its a Classic.

This is hands down the BEST place I have ever purchased from. While she does fondet and other cakes, she specializes in Dominican Cakes and those are the only cakes I have ever purchased from her. I referred her to my family and many of my family members have purchased cakes from her over the years. I absolutely love this place and highly recommend her Dominican cakes. They are soft, creamy, and juicy. Each time I serve the cake, I get compliments and there is never any left to keep for the next day. If you can, I recommend order ahead of time but she also keeps a few in the freezer for same day purchases. I look forward purchasing my next cake here very very soon!

I believe the place is Dominican owned. The cakes that they make are amazing. Wedding, birthday,just about anything you want. They even sell pieces of their cakes to the public. Heaven in a box !! Its all I can say...

So my mother just bought a cake for my fathers birthday today. We love Dominican cake and saw this place and decided to try it. We got the cake and brought it home and when we opened it we saw their was a lot of ants on the cake. Personally, I flipped but my mother was a bit calm and decided to call the bakery to let them know what happened even though we decided to keep the cake and try to blow the ants off. When my mother called the bakery they were very very rude. The lady who answered wouldnt let my mother speak and told her that she is calling the wrong bakery.... lol why would we call a random bakery to complain? So I decided to leave a review since they treated my mother so poorly. She basically was telling my mother, the customer, that she was wrong. Thought the client is always right? We were not going to return the cake nor ask for our money back and we got treated very poorly. Hope this doesnt happen to anyone else.

Highly recommend Luz Latin Cakes! Very warm and friendly bakery. The cake I ordered had dulce de leche and pineapple filling. It was DELICIOUS! This is my new bakery from now on. Great job sweet bakers!

I love Dominican cake and this place offers same day pick up on three different size cakes. Its heat or miss. Most of the time cake is fresh but sometimes its not. Its a small store that offers great options. Piña, guava and dulce de Leche.

The best cake ..!!!

I was in Miami visiting, and I ordered for a birthday at the last minute. Rico is too small for him. The dough, the pineapple filling and the suspiro (meringue) were delicious. Thank you Dona Luz, you will see me on my next visit ♥ ️
