I had been looking for a tall white bookshelf all over, and could not find one to my liking. Then I remembered that Big Lots sells furniture...I found exactly what I was looking for.The only downside was it was heavy and there was no one in the store to help me lift it and get it into my car.Im a strong woman, so I managed. Took it home, assembled it and put it in my daughters room. Perfect!

This Big Lots is close to my home but I will go all the way to Hallendale before I ever shop here again. The few times Ive been there the lines are always ridiculous and the staff here is rude beyond belief. A cashier walked away from a line with more than 20 people saying she had returns to do and didnt have time for this. When the only cashier left (Iris) was asked to call a manager her reply was that was the manager. After a few people left their carts full of things because they were tired of waiting and couldnt believe the unprofessional behavior of the staff the manager (Acelia) then came back with THE NASTIEST ATTITUDE, debating with already aggravated customers about what her job required, before logging back in to ring up the next customer. Her behavior along with Iris was rude and unprofessional. This Big Lots needs a ful revamp of staff and some serious coaching on customer service. UNACCEPTABLE!

Awesome Christmas things

You guys should reeeeally tell your cashiers to work much faster when handling customers. There was no need for 3 customers to wait in line for over 15 minutes, especially if the customers being checked out only had a handful of things to checkout.

Nothing special, hadnt been in Big Lots for quiet sometime. Really it wasnt worth the stop.

Friendly staff. Lots of discounts and clearance items. Really nice patio department. Hard top gazebos and soft top.

Id been in a Big Lots in Ft Lauderdale Fl. a few years ago was not amused. A friend took me to Big Lots in Pembroke Pines Fl and when o walked inside I was amazed. I love this place.

I went to buy a table for my computer and it was my surprise that they had a special price that I liked, I built it at home and it was super nice, good prices and very good attention 🙂🙂🙂🙂 ...

I am not a fan of discount stores but this one felt different. It was spacious, clean and full of variety. A very enjoyable experience.

This Big Lots has a huge furniture section and a wide variety of household products at very affordable prices. The store is very nicely lit and very clean and centrally located for quick and easy access. The staff were courteous and helpful.

A great place for bargain snacks and home goods.

Make sure you check out other Big Lots. Not all of them are messy and some are better stockeddepending on the location.

In the last 5 years or so that Ive shopped at this Big Lots the only associate that has ever helped me was a gentleman in the furniture department.

Do NOT buy furniture from this place if you want something of quality! I was looking for a bed with padded headboard or just the headboard. I was this nice looking bed with padded leather head & footboards. Bought it. Almost immediately, my mattress started leaning & I had had my previous bed over five years. It was only lacking a padded headboard. Called big lots to get help or refund but the manager tried to blame me. My old bed is still in good shape. NEVER AGAIN!! 👎🏽

I love big lots. They have a 20% off friends and family discount. Everything in the entire store is marked down 20% at the register. Its the best place to stock up on things you need around the house. Buy more and save more with the email discounts as well.

Like a dollar store with a higher-end. Many items here are good and you will find stuff here that you might not find in a dollar store or other stores like this. Ive never been disappointed when I need something there and usually walk out with a smile.

Even though it is bigger then most of the Big lots they seem to have less of a selection.

They do sell alot of things from bedding to outdoor furniture groceries and much more. The employees are very nice and helpful

Big Lots is not what it used to be. Prices are the same or a few cents more than other stores.

Hi!I visited your store on Wednesday evening and was very impressed, your staff was very friendly, store was very clean and neat. Miss Acelia, was very courteous and helpful with my husband and I. We were looking for a specific brand of dog food and she took the time to walk us to the correct aisle. Congrats, keep up the good work and great employees.

Broke a glass canister and saw it on line at this store and purchased in the store for $3.00. Lucky me! FYI a very nice lady who told me she has worked for Big Lots for 16 years helped me locate a few other items.. I will say she knows her way around the store. A few encounters with other personnel was really pleasant. Huge variety of all kinds of stuff.and all at bargain prices.

Prices were so affordable. Furniture is amazing I have to go back. Also that cashier aliayah gave excellent customer service she made my experience that much better. You guys need more employees like her.

Love shopping at Big Lot specially when I live Orlando Florida. I visit one store in Broward of the exit 25 marina Blvd. Store manager Robert had just left toy r us. Had to let him know that his location was one of the cleanest store I seen in a long time. Everything was in its place and other staff where awesome too. Will go on there online surveys and make sure I write a good comment

I love this place! One of the better big lots Ive had the pleasure of shopping in. This one here on university and Pines has a furniture dept separate from The store and had an out door patio and garden furniture department that rivals home depot or Lowes with far better prices. I always find what I need and even things I dont because of the low prices. Great brands great selections make big lots a must for us.

Upscale Dollar Store. Store was clean, staff super friendly and helpful. They have their own reward system which gives you $5. for just signing up. You need to know your prices of like items .

This Big Lots has the best Furniture Show Room out of all the stores I have been.

Great selection of household items which are all very affordable. Their electronics are poor quality for the most part. Ive seen old products being sold on the shelves including canned goods that had expired months earlier. Other than that, good place to pick up stuff for the home.

This is one of my best places to go and shop definitely my best places to spend your money well. Everything about this store is worth it great sales and the funiture has great low prices you cant compare them no where else, you have everything you need in this store everything best store in the market now

I do not usually go in this store but was in the area and needed to get a couple of items. In the process I picked up an item that was halloween themed from a section that showed $3.00 soaps. So naturally I asked if these were marked down, cashier said no, and also stated these items are pulled and thrown away once their selling period is over and they did not sell during the time they were marked down. I was shocked. At least donate the items that you no longer sell instead of filling up the landfills with just pure waste that could be used to help members of your community/shelters/food banks if its food that patronize this establihment. The cashier was very nice though.

Their customer service was subpar, I drove to one 40 minutes away instead.

Very messy. Crowded aisles. Good prices on Christmas items. Several novel, interesting Christmas items. It was hard to find the price on some items.

Overall, big lots is s good discount establishment to save a few dollars with a nice selection. Just make sure you look at expiration dates before making a final purchase. Im not a real fan of the furniture.

Stay away from this location. Worst service I have ever experienced.

Its ok, you are on your own. If you need help you really have to walk up and down the Isles until you find someone or go to the cashier and ask her to please call someone to come and help you.

This location is off of a Busy intersections..The different merchandise from bedding, furniture and sheets sets..They have a second floor with home goods.. We went to purchase food items..The selves are well stocked.. The store has greetings card, toys, personal items and home phones...The merchandise Doesnt stay on the selves.. Many named brands items at a reasonable price.

Its been a long time since Ive been to a Big Lots because theyre wasnt one close to me. As it is, I had to travel from Beyond I-75 and Griffin Road into east of University and Pines Boulevard. I wouldnt have normally gone, but they had a flyer in the newspaper and had things on sale that I needed to get. They had nearly everything I needed to get! I forgot how great the prices were here! They have all kinds of lovely things, including a really nice furniture Department! They have household decor items, loads of food, cases of water on sale, which is great when youre starting the hurricane season, and all kinds of other stuff I cant even begin to recall. The cashiers were friendly and quick, and getting in and out was a breeze, the only problem was I wanted to stay and shop for like another hour, but I would have cleaned out my bank account! LOL

Lots of different things to choose from with good pricing. One of my favorite places to shop for bargains!

Ive Never really shopped at big lots before, but went to check out the after Christmas sale. They didnt have much. Seems like a dive of a home goods store. Prices are okay, if you can find what you need, its sort of hit or miss.
