Had 4 great but different beers tonight at Alga with my son after a long, trying, day. Each beer was better and better! Loved all the live edge tables and the volume of the room! Still need to give it a more comfortable vibe but you go for the beers anyway which were awesome!
Great beer, nice atmosphere and nice people. This is a great little spot to have a beer with a friendly crowd. Out back is a food truck that sells hot dogs and nachos. A fun spot for a photo op is the backdrop recreating the alley from King of the Hill.
Chill, great beer, great owners. I would call this the chillest brewery in pensacola. No snobbery, just cool people and plenty of room to spread out. Beers are top notch!
The beer was phenomenal, Im eager to return on my next trip home. The Neighborhood Beer, with East Hill Honey, was absolutely amazing, a must have.

Fantastic spread on opening night. Chocolate cherry was to die for considering Im not much of a dark beer drinker. The Lo-Fi ipa was to die for. Awesome local brewery

The beer is fantastic. None off their beers are super far out there in terms of style or ingredients but what they choose to make they execute perfectly.Thats all that should matter but theres so much more.Alga has become an indispensable part of East Hill. Its got a welcoming vibe that fosters a sense of belonging to the neighborhood. So if you live in our fair neighborhood, stop in, meet your neighbors, drink a few beers, and walk home. If you dont live in our neighborhood, stop in, meet my neighbors, drink a few beers, and get someone else to drive you home.
