Seems the owners behave extremely rude, or better than. Judging a man by his appearance.Example, my father had $500.00 in the bank, drove an old little Mazda pickup, and wore overalls. He Was an intelligent business man, who in the end gave most of his money away! Now the cover of the book isnt always relate totally to the inner story.I myself had $15000 in my wallet, lol, I turned and walked out.I was desiring 1oz gold coins.
Place was clean and for the outright blatant lowballing it was at least a very quick experience. Silver is at 27.79 at the time of this writing and I was offered $12 per dollar of silver. (No key date coins, rates, etc) in my experience selling is 20-40% below spot...if u can do simple math youd know thats well below. Also, doesnt accept foreign coins (even though 90% silver) I did read reviews prior to visit so my expectations werent subverted but I thought Id give it a shot despite the flags waving me away. Here I come Emerald Coast Coins! UPDATE! I literally came straight to Emerald Coast and sold for $18 per dollar so hands down, no brainer, Emerald Coast Coi s for the win! P.S. They also bought my foreign coin!
This was the only place that would take the time to look at my flatware and sort it out for me. great guys and i received way more money than expected
Guy tried to say my NGC MS63 1915 $2.50 gold Indian head was going for under $100. Haha wow.
They have some interesting coins, usually have bullion in stock
Good experience and decent people to deal with. Inventory on display is on the small side but they are happy to bring stuff from the safe if needed. They did this for me and I purchased a very nice bar with attractive patina for market price.
The man that answered the phone was very rude and was not helpful I won’t be shopping there.
Known these guys for years, always been fair to me
Good place for no nonsense dealings
Super rude staff. I know my dad has issues and is way too open about his life but no one would make eye contact with me and had rude comebacks to whatever we said.I recognize that my dad was super embarrassing with getting his diamonds looked at which ended up being costume jewelry, but I feel like they could have been a little more kind and chilled out on the judgy vibe. I will never return or recommend this place.
Excellent staff very helpful in every way! They size all my rings for me usually the same day. I love great service cause that’s what keeps me going back!
LIARS! They will rip you off!
I had several items from my parents estate that I had been holding on to for several years. I had taken them to the hotel valuators, those that come in from out of town and place the big ads and they never really offered me as much as I thought. A couple places in town seemed to always low ball me saying it was a lot to get rid of. I took my items to Coin and Bullion of Pensacola, they carefully inspection my items, informed me on the markets showing me market price and in the end offered me a lot more than I had been previously offered for the lot. I am completely satisfied and I left feeling I got the best deal possible.
I enjoy going up there and talking to the guys. I usually go up there at least once a month to get some gold for me and a possibly a piece of jewelry for the wife.
I called this business to find out their inventory of a product. I do not have knowledge of coins AT ALL and the person I spoke with on the phone belittled me and acted like he had more important things to do than take my call. He was so rude that I will not even give this place the opportunity to take my money. Horrible horrible customer service, On the flip side, when I called Emerald Coast coins, they were patient and helpful.
Trust the reviews before you step foot in that building!!! Hes gonna act like whatever you have isnt worth his time. He offered me $50 for my sterling silver pieces like I hadnt done my research lol went to Emerald Coast Coins and got $150. Big difference huh??? Exactly!! so dont waste your time here unless your just asking for directions to Emerald Coast Coins they want try to rip you off unlike this guy.
Had some stuff my papa gave me before he died, they were pretty cool about explaining what it all was to me and the values of the stuff. the guy was honest and said that since it was my papas to keep it instead of selling it since it wasnt a whole lot of money.
I have done business many years with these guys and they have always treated me fairly.
Was told by staff/employee that my gold bullion was likely fake or not pure. Sold gold at another gold dealer store for full gold price less 10%. Do not waste your time with this business, they were rude and ridiculed me.
I guess
Helped me out with some great gifts for my kids
They always have what i need at a fair price, easy transactions!
They are very informative and when it comes to purchasing your gold or silver they pay top dollar.
The service sucks, plain and simple. The prices were WAY too high and the employee I dealt with was extremely rude. Looking to negotiate a litte bit? Forget it. The guy tried to tell me spot price was higher than it actually was, as soon as I pulled out my smartphone to show him what spot really was, he started belittling me. They will push you to buy what they want you to buy, not what you came in for.So if you feel like paying ~$4 over spot for silver generic rounds ($6 over spot for BU ASE), want to be forced into buying things you didnt ask for, or just want an overall terrible purchasing experience, these guys are your shop. I mean seriously, why wouldnt I just buy online at these prices?Avoid at all costs.Edit: I rated them Good Quality because they had a nice selection and Good Appeal because the store was clean and they had a nice sized parking lot.
Always have a great selection of jewelry and coins to look at
Clean place nice staff
My perfunctory examination of their generic bullion box was ok- Engles to prospectors. About average for a shop worthy of repeat business. The store was approachable and clean. Seems like a really nice store. Appearance is really above average, I would have to say.The problem that I experienced is that they wanted 4 dollars over spot for generics. I laughed at first because I thought the clerk was just joking with me. Nope. Dont get me wrong, I am willing to pay a bit more to support a local shop, but this goes a bit beyond what would be sane. 4 bucks over is more than what I pay for ASEs, so this really isnt a great place to find a good deal on silver at the moment. Also, 3 bucks over spot for 100 oz bars? seriously?
Rude staff.... Do not go here racists stuck up they need shut DOWN
They are always very courteous to me
Great experience! I will be back
Bunch of rude blackheads. Find a real jewelry store or even a PAWN SHOP would be better than these people!
Great Experiences...
Staff is Rude, says items you bring are not worth there time. There looking for specific gold or silver .not there to help general public.
They dont pay you much for your coins you want to sell. The coins they are selling are expensive.
Only place i go to sell my gold
