The worst customer service of any place I have seen in all my years in business. Im an HVAC contractor of 22 years and have never seen a place as bad as Gem-Air. They ordered the wrong thermostat in from another gem-air store and it was not what was needed. I then proceeded to exchange it for the correct one when I was informed they cant do that. What?! You ordered the wrong stat and now you cant exchange it..... I was informed it was special order so no refunds, but they ordered it wrong. He then told me the one I need is $800, and he would have to order that also. I ask him what kind of thermostat cost $800 and he started on his computer again. Then he says he has the one I need and its $369, and its in stock. At this point Im not gonna let these clowns rip me off anymore, and I told them I want my money back. He said he cant do that, and he would have to see what he could do. They will not give me credit or a refund on a thermostat that they ordered wrong, and lie about the one that I needed. Why didnt they tell me the one I needed was in stock in the first place? This place is run by drug addicts, go somewhere else for your Rheem parts and equipment, I will never return, ever. I sell about 25 Rheem systems a year, but that stops now, they can keep that equipment if this is there idea of a distributor.
