I am very particular about my things and Fred treated my truck like it was his own. I feel he did great work at a fair price and he got it done in a relatively short time period. He did what he said he was going to do and he stayed in touch. I will definitely use him again and I recommend him to others as well.

The owner is weird, likes to spy on his neighbors, probably has hidden cameras in the house next door hes trying to rent.

Sounds like a few of you need a therapist more than a muffler guy, some people just dont know how valuable telling it like it is is. Was having car issues and was SURE it was the catalytic converter, he told me I had numerous other codes and it most likely wouldnt fix the problem,, but me being me had it done anyway against his advise and wouldnt ya know he was absolutely right!! Regardless, its fixed now. He does great work just dont expect to be coddled,, hes a muffler guy and not a therapist.

The owner at rain barrel comes off a little strong, but its because he knows what hes talking about. He wont sell you anything you dont need. Fair prices, excellent work. Hes a one man show, so be prepared to drop off your vehicle, because not only is he doing your work, but hes dealing with customers too. Guy is a total jerk. Trying to quote a cat-back bolt on and he goes in to this tirade about how he doesnt replace catalyst converters with straight pipe. After explaining to him this doesnt replace the cat, he then goes into this tirade about how the brand I have is the cheapest junk in the whole world and it doesnt fit right and would be $200 minimum. Explained to him again that I researched all of this work, and he then tells me that I should do it myself since Im so smart. Total jerk. Will never do business with this place, and I pay with cash money.

Do not take your vehicle here.Bad attitude horrible craftsmanship and doesnt stand behind his work. I had duel exhaust put on my truck a year and a half ago he had a bad attitude then the tips were crooked and now one of the hangers have failed and he doesnt want to tack it back up for me. Please heed the warnings this guy is not professional youll see when you pull up to his shop... I mean house I mean junkyard!!!!!!

I needed to get a couple of tailpipes put on my car and I was having some trouble finding someone who wanted to take on the joib as it required a bit of customization as a previous owner had installed long tube headers and mickey moused the rest of the exhaust system. Fred looked at it and said he could take care of it and quoted me a very fair price for the work. I left the car with him and he had it done the next day. He actusally redid everything as nothing was the way he would want it on his own car, everything welded and tight. Ive no driven this for a couple of weeks and the exhaust doesnt scrape, leak, or rattle. Great job, fair price, quality work. Support your local small business man, Pensacola and patronize this guy. Very highly recommended.

I just called to get a basic estimate and the person that asnwered the seemed to not have any customer service skills what so ever. When I asked for an estimate on my truck he said that I was there yesterday and that I didnt want it done for $40. I WAS a first time caller and have never been there before. Jumping to conclusions like that to potential customers is never and he wasnt even apologetic. To me $40 does not seem to be alot, but rest assured, I will be taking my business elsewhere. Bad attitude, NO customer service, and just hung up on me.

I took my Mazda Miata to Rain Barrell to have my cat converter replaced. I suspected that it was the cause of my cars rough idle. I was told that the cat converter replacement probably wont solve my problem. Fred was right, it did not solve my problem, but the quality of the welding was superb. I would definitely use Rain Barrell again because of the quality of work and honesty.

So I went to Georges Mufflers to see about a noise my engine was making and they tell me that my catalyic converter needs replaced. I have been ripped off before by corporate type auto shops so I wanted to get a second opinion. A friend told me to go see Fred at Brent Rain Mufflers, cause apparently he knows his stuff. I went down there and he was straight to the point and told me that there was no point in changing the catalyic converter until I get the engine looked at and do a tune up. Low and behold, he was right the engine was the problem. I am so glad he was straight up with me and I didnt believe those scam artists at Georges. Seriously. I hate it when mechanics try to sell you something because they think you dont know any better. Go see FRED, he will save you money!!
