Good selection of nicer used items. Good place to go if youre looking for an office wardrobe and are on a budget. Staff is very friendly when approached. They give you your space to find your treasures.

Took Im 2 nice size gym bags of nothing buy COACH,NINE WEST,GUESS AND DKNY, in excellent condition and a few still had tags attached . After wasting my time,they decided they where not taking my style. Honestly I dont think the even went through my bags because everything looked the same as whenever I took them in.

It’s hit or miss but I can usually find something. They carry a lot of different brands and styles and I do love the selection. And I LOVE the employees! Sometimes I can only find a couple things, sometimes I get lucky! Do they always take the items I bring in? Nope. That’s ok! I’m ok with their selection process-it means there’s going to be some great stuff to shop through! But today? Egg-stravaganza! I had major luck with my finds today and was a little nervous spending that much money on clothes just for me but...I found the 40% of discount! Several items still had their original tags! Several dresses, several tops, a pair of jeans and a hat! Today was a great day to shop at Clothes Mentor!! 🛍🛍

Not a big selection of designer items and make sure you really inspect the items you select. It is a resale shop. Oh and they close super early at 6pm.

Emily and Amy are amazing. I brought in 3 huge baskets to sell. They were able to get through them all relatively fast and sent me a text when done. They gave me a fair fair price for the items they were keeping. I had questions about why they did not keep certain items. Amy and Emily were extremely professional while explaining the reason and current trends. I have been shopping and selling at clothes mentor for years and will continue to do so!

Over the past few months Ive been to the store several times, and all of the ladies that work there have been very helpful and friendly. When Ive been in, Ive noticed Lisa and Sarah always being welcoming. One employee in particular, Emily, helped with fashion advice for updating my wardrobe and was so nice and honest. Even when they seem busy and have a lot going on, I was always asked how things where going and serviced with anything immediately. I definitely will continue shopping here.

What a joke. You guys just bought a top from me but refused others that are the same style and bought at the same time and from the same store. You said they were either too old or no longer in style. HELLO...... they are exactly the same just different colors and patterns. You have things in your tracks that look like they have been ran over and over again by semis and drug through the streets. I will NEVER shop in your stores ever again! What a totally rip off all the way around. Youre getting greedy because there arent too many stores in the Peoria area for women to shop anymore. Just lost a long time customer but that wont matter to you.

I have never had an issue finding clothes when shopping at clothes mentor but almost every time I bring anything in to sell they wont buy any of it starting that they only buy current styles. I honestly dont think that the people working there know what current styles in clothing are because there are several things I brought in that I bought within the last year that were brand new and had never been worn or had been worn only a few times. I had brand new pairs of shoes that had been worn once or not at all that they had no interest in that in positive would sell well add I work in retail and know they sell well at the store I work at. I also brought in some fabulous formal dresses that they could probably sell for a good amount of money with prom coming up soon, one of these dresses still had the tags on. I think their merchandise at the store is just oversaturated and they look at clothing to appease people and dont take anything that people bring in. I also told the lady at the counter I didnt need help carrying things to my car but she grabbed my bags and followed me anyway. Theyre rude about the way they deal with customers who are trying to sell their merchandise and have bogus reasons for why they dont want your shoes or clothing.

Today was my first time in the store. I found it to be very well organized and found a beautiful WHBM top. I sold 5 items and the customer service was excellent. I will be back & I will recommend it to my friends. Thank you for a pleasant transaction!

Nice options for clothes however theres no bathroom provided for public. This establishment sent me to Five Guys or Ulta to use restroom. I wonder if these two establishments are aware? Never going back.

They need to learn how to use social media. All of their pictures look blurry! I seriously only go into the store to actually see what the purses look like.When I do actually have the time to get into the store, theyre not nice. I hear them talk about other costumers in front of me! Especially from a manager! I was in shock to hear how rude they were. Very unprofessional place.I dont recommend this place. They will talk about you when you leave. Beware. :(

DONT GO HERE! I had a shorter lady who could not figure out how to use the register. She had to call her boss.... Seriously... I had to wait. She doesnt know what she is doing, but she told me that it happens all the time. I dont recommend their dirty/out of date clothing and horrible service. Not going here again.

Nice name brand gently used clothing and accessories for women of ALL sizes. Not teeny bopper clothing.

Every time I walk into the store the manager follows me around and talks my ear off. I had to stop bringing my girls in with me because she talks to them too! I know its her job but I have a life and need to get going. I love love love the clothes and brands! The workers need some help with costumer service. I honestly cant go to this place anymore because Im annoyed more than anything. Ill stick to amazon.

I took in several items to sell that were all on the websites list of accepted name brands. However, the clerk told me they would only accept 3 of the items because they are only looking for clothing from 2013 on. I know at least 3 more items not accepted by them were within this time range, but I wasnt going to argue with the clerk. If this is the store policy, that should be clearly stated on the website. I would not have bothered wasting my time had I known this was the policy (Im not even sure that it is their policy). Its a ridiculous policy anyway as designer brands are mostly timeless and classic. No need to worry about outdated styles with certain brand names, in my opinion. I browsed the store while I was waiting for the estimate of what Id receive for my items. I was not impressed with what they had to offer. The clothes seemed to be in good shape; however, there wasnt much selection in some sizes. Not all that much variety, either. I will not return as either a buyer or a seller.

I tried selling a couple items here a couple or so months ago and they denied them because of their style. No other explanation was given. While I was trying to leave with hurt feelings, Angie, i think her name was, just kept talking at me for it seems like forever!!! Here i am, inching out the door to leave with my couple items and she keeps talking about the weather. All while this is happening there were other costumers that needed help... the store looked nice but the workers need some help.

Stopped by Saturday, the 1st day of the 90% off sale, which ran through Monday...they were already almost out of stuff...if you are going to have a 3 day sale, should make sure you have enough items to support it.

BEWARE I was sold a knock off north face fleece after selling 2 purses the owner refused to make things right even after asking me to take pictures and bring them in which i did and they still refused to help so I sold authentic items to be sold a fake item! Please DO NOT go here they shoukd be out of business! Offering 20.00 for Michael Kors handbag and they still dont get they stole from me buy misrepresentation of their merchandise. They sold something they knew zero about even calling the jacket the wrong name? I just want customers to be aware their items are not authentic and buyer beware.

Good selection. I always go here when Im looking for a dress. They have a little bit of everything.....shoes, purses, belts, accessories etc. Worth stopping in.

Clothes mentor is a nice place just over priced for used clothing. They are courteous so they get 5 stars. Their selection is limited.

I was told most of my items were older than two years, but then they wanted to take my shoes that were clearly older than two years. I’m confused, Angi. I took my items and left. Very inconsistent place comparing to other clothes mentors that I’ve been too.

Went in earlier this week took 2 bags of clothes and shoes only to be told that my items didnt fit the 2 year buying criteria for the stores standards. Most of my items were barely 2 years old purchased from online stores. When asked how she knew the age of my items, was told that stores change their tags every 2 years. However the sales associate couldnt tell me about online retailers. The 2 items that were picked out I was offered $4.50 for. What an insult! I didnt want to make this a race issue being an African-American woman. I had my daughter take the items next door to Plato Closet, since they are owned by the same company only for her to be turned down as well. However, her white friend took the same clothes bag and they bought everything except 2 items! Makes me wonder whos really running this business and how.

Wonderful and friendly staff. I enjoy shopping and selling both. Place is super neat and very organized. Great name brand clothes, shoes, jewlery and purses. Prices ruin you for shopping ar retail stores.

Tried to do an even exchange since i purchased the wrong size for my daughter at christmas. Brought in the clothes still tagged, the receipt and my daughter since she was off school and all they would do was buy the clothes back at only 40 percent original purchase price. Im totally disatisfied will tell others and wont be back. The receipt even states they would exchange but the assistant manager said it was not their policy. Total rip off and i dont see how customer satisfaction is not important especially since their receipt states a different policy.
