I drive by every day to and from work and the place seems to have stuff inside, but is never “open”. I happened to drive by this morning (a Saturday) and saw the bay door open and a bike parked outside. Mr. Southard himself was there getting some work in. He was kind enough to show us around the shop and give us the inside scoop on the status of the business. The show room and shop are basically closed and don’t have regular hours. He is semi retired but does still do side work, but he can afford to be very selective on what work he takes on. Give him a call if you need any service on newer model motorcycles. Mr. Southard is actually only the second owner of the building. The shop is nice and he has a fully equipped machine shop. We briefly discussed the local economy and the state of the motorcycle industry in general. Mr. Southard also contributes occasionally to various motorcycle publications.

The guy is a dick! He was not interested on working on my bike. He asked what I had and the work i needed done. I informed him what I need done (idle issue) and he flipped out. Did not want to work on my bike because i bought a new part ( a carb) from some where else. Stated he was semi retired and if I would have bought parts from him he would be able to help me out and plus its old no young kids are interested on working on one. Do not go here bad customer service will take my business else where.
