I love this Food Lion because I grew up going here, but they definitely struggle with keeping the store stocked. The employees are usually very nice.

So disappointed with food lion lately!! They have rotting fruit and vegetables out on display!!! I DONT WANT THAT!!! Who wants to buy that?? It’s been for the past two months now consistently that that’s been going on so I started going to other stores.

This is one of the Better Food Lions to shop at. Pretty much have what you need. The employees do go out of their way to help you when you cant locate something.

Food prices are excellent. Spent much less and got much more. The store is clean, everyone is friendly and helpful.

The cashier #0200 name starting with an N. On cash register 004 @3:19 pm today SUCKED. SHE NEEDS TRAINING ON CUSTOMER SERVICE AND HOW TO BAG ITEMS. Who puts raw meat with fresh fruit? May I add the same bag? Then, put the bacon with the ice cream when it was six more ice creams she could have put together. When I mentioned it and tried to help her, she got mad. Like lady, I put the stuff on the belt in order so it would be easy for you. If you dont know raw meat, dont go with fresh fruit; stay home with your attitude. I can see if I was rude, but I was extremely patience and accommodating.

Several of their shelves are either bare or many items low on supply. Sometimes you have to store shop to find the items you use daily.

Id have to say the area in which we live makes marketing a sort of hassle specially since we dont have a car-- food lion is up the street so it helps. Far as selections, its okay its not vase to the point youll find everything, some good deals, but need more variety. More meats-- needs more family packs of meats like pork chops or spar ribs. They say its family packed but only have like maybe 4-5 in a pack. And for a small family maybe its fine but not a family of 5-6 people. But id say they have better prices then weis market.

There were only 3 carts in the store. The fruit section is very dark and two employees were standing around talking pretending to stock celery. There was only one employee in deli and when I said good afternoon she ignored me.( yes she heard me) The store has been remodeled and will take some getting used to but so many large displays were blocking aisles. The only nice person was the cashier, sadly I didnt get her name, but she was fantastic and sweet. Very personable. The staff at the back were yelling at one another complaining about having to work during the football game. I had to ask them to move aside so I could get hotdogs. I have just recently moved to this area and have always shopped at Food Lion.The prices are very good and the products are unbeatable. Sadly the staff leaves so much to be desired. Your cashier was the only bright spot in my experience.

The store hrs change from 6am to 7am.Always clean,the employees always willing to assist you,u can find pretty much what u are looking for.Carry pots,The meat,vegetables and dairy always freash,store well stocked.Food lion offers a card and always has different sales so u can take advantage of.Has parking and very accessible.

Went to Food Lion and very disappointed this evening. Saw a few employees with their masks down (which we all know if against code). Security letting people through with no mask on. Young kids coming in with mask on, not following social distancing, and cussing up a storm. Nothing done and no one saying anything. This isn’t the first time. When I go in the morning there are no issues. The evening is a completely different story. Please fix this.

I like this store aside from the fact that face mask policy is not enforced on the employees. Roughly half the employees here wont be wearing face masks (theyll have them around their neck) or they will have their mask only covering their nose (defeating any benefit a face mask has in protecting others). I dont want to shop at places where customer health is not taken seriously and neither should you.

I come here for items that I cant find elsewhere. Pretty good sales and I like the food lion brand (luncheon meats, ice cream, etc.). The store is well kept and well stocked. Workers and security are cordial. I really like this location. The seafood counter has random hours which can be disappointing.

Person in bakery wasnt very helpful. I had to say good morning first and that was it she didnt say may I help you or anything. I asked her 2 questions and the answer were very short. I walked away feeling like I was bothering her. Ive worked retail for a very very long time and Ive been shown to respect and go on and beyond no matter what to our customers without our customers we have no job!

I frequently shop at the food lion store by my house I went in to grab 1 item. I noticed that the light was off n the cashier was talking to the last customer leaving out the line. I tried to make eye contact to see if he was still open but it looked like he was closed and I didn’t want to be rude while he was talking so I just assumed he was closed. I went and stood in the line right next to his line. In front of me was another customer with 3-4 things and we were waiting in line. So people walked up behind me and had a lot of things and stood there then walked over and put there stuff up in the man I thought was closed. So I went to talk to the manager and 1st she was on a call on her cell on the floor. And I let her know what happened and she said well you didn’t walk up and ask him if he was closed. I tried to explain that the light was off and he avoided eye contact and that it seemed like he was closed. She said he was customer service and that’s why his light was off. And I should have asked him. I felt that if his purpose was to get the lines down why wasn’t he telling the people inline waiting with a few items to come over the manager was rude about it and unsupportive. I won’t be going back

A great place for groceries,get the Food Lion MVP card and the savings really add up. They are the only grocery store that carry my brand coffee creamer.
